Just returned from Spain and from my Trip Advisor reviews, you will see I never complain. Was told by Argus that it was a special deal - I pay £5 booking fee up front and £50 when I get to Niza Cars to collect the 4 day economy hire car. This turned out to be £130 - £50 for the car, £30 excess insurance which I had to have, or pay 500 euro up front!! plus £60 for a full tank I did not want, with no refund (£30 fuel went back). This does not happen at reputable hire companies whom Argos had booked us with before. To make matters worse, the car was of indeterminate age (over 90k on clock), the seat wrecked my back after 45 mins driving and the reception was surly. Take some advice! Pay a few pounds extra up front and go with a major player. In the long run it will save you cash.

After months trying to get my cash back Argus declined my cash back, in my opinion they should not be allowed to advertise on this site as I purchased and fully carried through with both purchases however it has been declined where other purchases made at the same time from other retailers on this site were tracked and paid.
