It's that time of year again - Quidco's 3rd Birthday! The years have been flying by and we've been doing our best to hang on to this crazy rocket called Quidco. Every year is another milestone and evidence that Quidco represents a real trend towards honest, ad-free, spam-free, consumer powered shopping! For some more birthday thoughts from us see the blog. To celebrate we're going to have another one of our legendary member competitions! Last year we had just video but some members complained they didn't have video access so this year we are going to have both categories: video and photo.

We've got more prizes than ever so that more Quidco members can win something! To enter here's what you have to do...

Make a video or take a photo on the theme of "threes" and include the Quidco birthday hat (PDF). Maybe it's a three legged race with the three little pigs who trip and fall down the Three Gorges dam... Or three blind mice riding tricycles while using their Three mobile to find a Quidco shamrock... Or the three Stooges trying to setup a threesome with triplet cousins of the three musketeers...

You get the picture! Go nuts and get as many references to "three" in as possible while making use of the Quidco birthday hat. Surprise us and shock us but please don't submit anything illegal. Remember you have until the end of May, but entries up sooner will have more time to gather member votes. Most importantly, have fun! Find the guidelines below.

We've got three prizes for the photo category and another three for the video category, and also Member's Choice prizes for each. Those will be awarded based on the votes from other Quidco members!

Who can take part:

Any Quidco member can enter the competition. Only members with active accounts and acquired earnings can vote or comment on the submissions. One submission per member. Once it is submitted it cannot be changed. Each member has one vote that can be changed at any point before the end of the competition (through the month of May).

Guidelines

For Photos: No photoshop chop jobs please! All imagery must be your original work.

For Videos: All video content will be submitted via YouTube and will be subject to their Terms of Use

YouTube accepts video files from most digital cameras, camcorders, and cell phones in the .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, and .MPG file formats.

YouTube recommends the following specifications:

• MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format
  
• 320x240 resolution
  
• MP3 audio
  
• 30 frames per second

Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your videos look better on YouTube.

All videos uploaded to YouTube have a 100MB file size limit. The longer the video is, the more compression will be required to fit it into that size. For that reason, most videos on YouTube are under five minutes long and there is a 10-minute length limit for all videos.
