****************

Alright we've got a hummer of a Quidco deal here from Vodafone. First off they've gone and boosted Quidco to £150 on any Tocco contract. If you don't yet know what the Tocco is head over to Vodafone where it's the best-selling handset currently. It is Samsungs new touch screen hotness with a 5mp camera. Plans start at £15/month for a basic text package but there's a good range of plans such as £35/month for 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet/email.

Don't forget that £150 Quidco will take a big chunk out of any plan netting some hot offers.

Now the great cherry on this deal is that we've also got 3x pairs of ManU v. Celtic (21/10/2008) and 3x pairs of Chelsea v. Roma (2/10/2008) tickets to give away to Quidco members! Ideally you can be watching the game, taking 5mp snaps with your Tocco camera and uploading them live to Facebook with the mobile internet ;)

Anyone can get in to win on this giveaway. All you have to do is visit Vodafone through the Quidco link, go to the Tocco page and post a comment back here on the blog letting us know what your favoured plan would be before midnight October 6th ;) We'll pick an eligible comment using random.org.

Vodafone £150 Quidco cashback

Enjoy!

You must to post a comment.

nappleton October 28th, 2008 a 11:52 am

:0( I wish they would do an increased offer eg £150 on other phones on vodafone i really didn't want to buy the omnia or the tocco as there have been alot of probs reported with these phones...
Now if it was the Sony Ericsson w980 i'd jump at it or even if they were offering it on other phones.
Why quidco has the increased cashback been limmited to the tocco and the omnia??
And are there due to be anymore offers coming through?

aarjaygee October 24th, 2008 a 02:07 pm

just came out of the hangover from the manchester united - celtic game. absolutely loved it & my partner went on a mad spending spree bought a tshirt & other bits for the match. thanks again quidco.

agill007 October 23rd, 2008 a 09:09 am

Went for the omnia in the end, so far so good. tracking at £91. should validate at £150. 12month contract @ £35 p/m. = 420 - 150 = £22.5 for free omnia and 500 mins 100 texts. The phone itself is OK, its crashed a few times and sometimes doesn't do what i tell it to do.. but hey what do you expect for cutting edge. The DIVX quality is amazing.. and can be hooked up to tv.
Basically the omnia is a movie player, mp3 player, sat nav, camera and camcorder rolled into one. did i mention it also makes phone calls?!

leeannethorniley October 22nd, 2008 a 01:20 pm

Just to say a big THANK YOU to Quidco for the Utd tickets! BF went last night and had a fab time :-)

fointy October 21st, 2008 a 10:07 am

Has the omnia offer ended now as well? It doesn't mention it so i assume so :(

quidco October 20th, 2008 a 02:55 pm

@Astroboy, the Tocco cashback offer has expired, so it's no longer showing on the merchant link page. However, as you say, there is £150 on offer for the Omnia at the moment. :)

Astroboy October 19th, 2008 a 03:07 pm

As agill007 mentioned..anyone know if the Tocco cashback is still valid?..the Quidco Vodaphone page only mentions the Omnia..

stevenkely October 19th, 2008 a 09:07 am

bing1057: mine hasn't either, it's been a couple of weeks for me now. I'm just about to put in my enquiry...

bing1057 October 18th, 2008 a 02:21 pm

has anyones quidco not tracked at all. its been a week since i ordered my phone, and nothing is showing

amarmehta2 October 17th, 2008 a 10:34 pm

agill007 October 16th, 2008 a 10:54 pm

is the samsung omnia replacing the tocco voda 150 off deal?

vbnmu October 16th, 2008 a 12:02 am

Would definitely have to be the £40 one. Or anything upto £50 if they had any. As it is I use around 2000 mins.

leeannethorniley October 15th, 2008 a 05:06 pm

No-one else seems to have posted which match they are going to... Hope the winners haven't wasted the opportunity! I've given the tickets to my fella to enjoy (I get a night shopping while he watches the match) We only live 15 mins from the ground so alot more local than your 6 hours. Hope your and your other half enjoy the game!

aarjaygee October 14th, 2008 a 02:24 pm

leeannethorniley I am going for the same game. so probably we will meet up there. you local or going from london? wonder who the 3rd person is for this game other than you & me?

bennyandthejacks October 14th, 2008 a 08:42 am

the £15 amonth only text great deal man u match tops it off

leeannethorniley October 13th, 2008 a 11:11 pm

Woo Hoo! Got in with the United v Celtic match! Thanks Quidco :)

Zanim October 13th, 2008 a 08:49 pm

Would def be the £25/month 600mins unlimted txts, very good value.

p.brad October 11th, 2008 a 08:44 am

lol, you can all tell the truth what you think about vodaphone now.

Personally i would never use them again.

jnettleton October 9th, 2008 a 07:49 pm

Can we have some Liverpool tickets next time ;o)

kingkoopa82 October 9th, 2008 a 06:35 pm

Congrats people. Thats a great prize you got there. Defo has to be the Man utd Vs Celtic match. Would be amazing to be there in person.

On another note did anyone ever win the Anne summers competition?

leeannethorniley October 9th, 2008 a 05:58 pm

Man Utd for me as i'm a Manc !

Thanks gobbyash.....

What about you kraven???

gobbyash October 9th, 2008 a 05:12 pm

Congrats to both of you and the other winners - good prize. Man U v. Celtic HAS to be THE game!!

aarjaygee October 9th, 2008 a 04:23 pm

sorry what about you leeannethorniley ?

aarjaygee October 9th, 2008 a 04:23 pm

i am in london & my partner is crazyyyyy about man utd no madddd about man utd, so i gues man utd is the option we have, not that i am interested in the roma game with chelsea. that will be too one sided.
chelsea ground is only 1 hour away from us as compared to old trafford which is 6 hours away. but my partner says its worth it.

kraven October 9th, 2008 a 03:58 pm

Won too!! Can't believe it !

leeannethorniley October 9th, 2008 a 03:58 pm

I won too! What team you going for aarjaygee??

stevenkely October 9th, 2008 a 03:40 pm

Vallender89 October 9th, 2008 a 12:00 pm

brightandshiny October 9th, 2008 a 10:51 am

Jongould October 9th, 2008 a 09:15 am

0612mikec October 8th, 2008 a 09:44 pm

£30 per month 250 mins + 500 txts...mmmm n my contract nearly up

barnabee October 8th, 2008 a 08:13 pm

The Quidco competition ended at midnight on 6th October - we are waiting for the winners to be announced. P.Brad, completely agree with you. I noticed the same and thought it was very misleading too.

gdmorrison October 8th, 2008 a 06:29 pm

I'd choose the £30/month with 600 mins and unlimited texts.

AntSmith October 8th, 2008 a 03:00 pm

The £30 per month with 600 minutes and unlimited texts is a good deal.

p.brad October 8th, 2008 a 02:36 pm

LOL, unreal you all think giving a positive comment will bag you the tickets.
If you shop around you will see that this is no where near the best deals for price and what you get as in minutes and texts etc.

Vodaphone is very mis leading and on the first page that advertises the phone this proves my point. I am suprised nobody has seen this and complained to vodaphone or the Trading standards........

Link (http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/) just follow quidco's link

states :- Samsung Tocco FREE from £15.00 with a big sign over a picture of the phone.

Look at the plans and for £15.00 a month the phone is £150.00

That is so deceiving from the original image they are showing.

I have saved the advert so try it.save the image and buy it then say your advert says free from £15.00. Good luck.

Vallender89 October 8th, 2008 a 12:59 pm

got the £30 a month (£15 first 3 months) for 600mins unlimited text (3000 text) with an 18 month contract. Got the tocco handset, sold it for £240, got £150 cashback :>

So i will pay (15*3 = 45) + (30*15 = 450) = 495 - (240+150 [money got from cashback and sale of phone]) = £105 for 54,000 text and 10,800 minutes over 18 months :p

or £5.83pm for unlimited txt and 600 mins

I think thats a good deal!

cjtan1 October 8th, 2008 a 10:57 am

600 minutes n unlimited text for 30 is a great deal!

gobbyash October 8th, 2008 a 08:17 am

C'mon quidco - let us know who's won!! ;-D

Islander2008 October 7th, 2008 a 11:01 pm

great deal

Diekund October 7th, 2008 a 10:09 pm

unfortunately the shop is actually down at the minute for maintenance but strangely enough i viewed this offer last night to check out the deals. Im currently with o2 and im looking to move to a new network to get a better deal / coverage. My girlfriend recently took a vodafone payg phone/sim with her when we went on holiday. now that shes home she is still using it over her contract with o2! the price of the plans and the coverage is just much better with vodafone.

when i move to vodafone in just under 2 months i will be going through quidco and going for the 600mins/month and unlimited texts deal - bargain. ive used the tocco too and it worked really well. step between a standard phone and a smartphone - just what im looking for.

Thanks quidco

fishboy44 October 7th, 2008 a 09:14 pm

600 Mins plus unlimited texts - fantastic phone and £150 from quidco to boot. What a bargain - cheers Quidco.

Amie0710 October 6th, 2008 a 07:30 pm

I have chosen the £30 per month (150 minutes, 500 texts) on a 12 month contract. With £150 cashback via Quicdo, this effectively makes the tariff £17.50 per month, which is a fab price, considering the lovely, sleek, handset, that comes with this package.

I hate 18 month contracts and this contract will give me the flexiabilty to negotiate a good retention deal 6 months sooner, than if signed up to an 18 month contract. With the credit crunch an all, biting hard this is the most cost effective for me.

Thank You Quidco & Vodafone for a great cashback offer!

jannene October 6th, 2008 a 07:16 pm

tombenton October 6th, 2008 a 02:31 pm

£20 a month for unlimited texts and 200 minutes is the best deal!

maxtweenie October 6th, 2008 a 01:50 pm

Free phone, 600 minutes and unlimited texts @£30 a month. First 3 months @ £15, next 15 months @ £30. 18 month contract. Total outlay = £495 minus £150 Quidco= £345. Equates to £19.16 per month.

£150 for phone, 600 minutes and unlimited texts @ £25 a month. Assuming Quidco £150 pays for cost of phone, then 18 month contract @ £25 = total outlay of £450, so £30 a month deal is £105 better on this occasion.

scotsflyer October 6th, 2008 a 01:41 pm

Personally I would go for the 250 anytime mins (100 texts) on their 12 months £25pm month contract - Free phone effectively meaning the contract costs you just £150 over the 12months - put another way just £12.50 per month for a super phone.
Great deal Quidco !!!

GRAEMEFRATER October 5th, 2008 a 09:25 am

Iâm going to signup for the 12month contract! That way I can change phones again next year on Quidco. I will take the £25 a month - 50mins / 150text plan.

Think I would go for the £30 permonth contract, that is reduced for the first three months to £15 with 600 mins and unlimited texts.
Looking for a new phone so very tempted with this offer.

juliakerr October 3rd, 2008 a 07:07 pm

philingham74 October 3rd, 2008 a 05:57 pm

600 mins and unlimited texts for £30, and half price for first 3 months. Great deal, and good looking phone.

dmhop October 3rd, 2008 a 05:53 pm

I would go for the 18 month contract with free phone at £35 month - with the all important bit for me being the unlimited internet usage - this phone is well suited to surfing so a great deal. To top it all I would also get 600 minutes and unlimited texts more than enough for me.

dufc28 October 3rd, 2008 a 05:50 pm

I would love the £55 a month, unlimited texts and 1500 minutes of talk time, surely even I couldn't go over my minutes then!

Jibe1978 October 3rd, 2008 a 05:47 pm

Defo the 18 month contract - 600 minutes and unlimited texts for £25 per month as it would already be discounted by £10 per month. With the quidco rebate it's £16.66 per month for 18 months which is probably the best deal you'll ever get.....not sure which phones are applicable to this though.

Love some tickets please.

carole9908 October 3rd, 2008 a 05:38 pm

I would go for the 18 month contract with free phone at £30 per month (with the first 3 months half-price), getting 600 minutes, and unlimited texts. Hmm, if only my existing phone were a bit older....

simon31leeds October 3rd, 2008 a 05:25 pm

I'm mortified - paid £20 per month for an old style Nokia N95 3 months ago and then this deal comes up - if only I'd chosen the Tocco with the £30 per month (£15 first 3 months) package I'd have been quids(co) in!!!!

Krzrgrl October 3rd, 2008 a 05:21 pm

Free Phone £30 a month (after first 3 months at £15) 600 minutes and unlimited texts would be the one for me!

al88 October 3rd, 2008 a 05:20 pm

The £30 deal that's £15 for the first three months, topped with £150 cashback would be excellent. I've just started a contract with vodafone so missed it by a couple of days.

P.S. How long can vodafone take to track? Have a feeling I'll be submitting an enquiry for mine, hope I still get the cashback.

aaron1uk October 3rd, 2008 a 05:18 pm

Damn, damn, damn, damn! I ordered one of these about three weeks and got 90 quid credit. Cant complain though they made a mistake and sent my order too me twice.. probs should return it just in case.

lloydy1 October 3rd, 2008 a 05:10 pm

Kemish October 3rd, 2008 a 04:53 pm

£15 monthly unlimited texts, good deal apart from £150 for the handset.

dra90n October 3rd, 2008 a 04:47 pm

£20 a month, 200 minutes and unlimited text.

vijayrana October 3rd, 2008 a 04:46 pm

£15 a month with the phone being effectively free as the £150 cashback will cover the cost of the phone. Then you get unlimited texts.... excellent for us texters!

andykingx October 3rd, 2008 a 04:36 pm

The £25/600 mins / unlimited texts per month looks to be a cracking deal!

jonni2bad October 3rd, 2008 a 04:32 pm

The 600/unlimited deal looks quite decent, this works out at just under £20 per month after the cashback and their 3 months half price combination - which is on a par with their standard sim-only deal price, so the Tocco would be free.

Have just cancelled my contract with Three, so I'm in the hunt for a new deal anyway - this certainly has potential. Cheers again to Quidco!

(and COME ON CELTIC!!!)

deadleg21 October 3rd, 2008 a 04:29 pm

600mins and unlim txts for £30 is a wiked deal

antryan October 3rd, 2008 a 04:26 pm

£45 per month with unlimited texts and 900 mins a month seems like a decent enough deal.

jamtart6 October 3rd, 2008 a 04:24 pm

I would go for £15 unlimited texts as I mainly text BUT might venture onto the £30 as I'm DYING to get mobile internet which my current SIM card doesn't have :(

Beaky2007 October 3rd, 2008 a 03:58 pm

£15 / month , but then I'm a cheapskate !

Discogod October 3rd, 2008 a 03:24 pm

i'd go for the £25 per month 600 minutes & unlimited texts for 18 months :)

bazwaldo2 October 3rd, 2008 a 03:20 pm

The best deals are on the 18 month packages. Not so good for 12 months.

Kopite76 October 3rd, 2008 a 03:18 pm

Lots of good tariffs here but i reckon the £30 per month deal with 600mins and unlimited texts is the best value!

mikemears October 3rd, 2008 a 03:16 pm

Good deal, will go for the £25 x 12 month contract, half back with Quidco!!!

kill4it October 3rd, 2008 a 03:15 pm

My samsung is getting a bit beaten up now so would be a great deal. I would go for £35 with the free internet and the free landline calls as I don't text as much these days. Very similar to my o2 contract but with free internet, bargain.

kaha22 October 3rd, 2008 a 03:14 pm

The £30 per month deal with 600mins and unlimited texts is a winner. Excellent deal!

carma73 October 3rd, 2008 a 03:09 pm

Nice fone and a cracker of a deal. Will def go for da Tocco!

jhowitt October 3rd, 2008 a 03:08 pm

Great phone. Great price.
Great deal.

kraven October 3rd, 2008 a 03:05 pm

To get the £15 tarriff, the phone is £150 and the £15 tarrif is Zero minutes and unlimited texts over 18 months = £270.

Vodafone does say "Free from £15 a month", this refers to the 18 month tariff with the first 3 months half price (600mins unlimited texts) = 3 x £15 + 15 x £30 + free phone - £150 = £345.

skippity October 3rd, 2008 a 03:03 pm

Probably go for the £20/mth 200 mins plan - not really a very heavy mobile user, so any more would be wasted. But a nice phone!

Big_Anth October 3rd, 2008 a 02:56 pm

the £30 a month 3 months @ £15 looks a good deal - 600 mins and unlimited texts !

mteen24 October 3rd, 2008 a 02:56 pm

I would go for 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 15 pounds for first 3 months, may give it a bash!

namildog October 3rd, 2008 a 02:56 pm

I am an occasional mobile user only, so £15 contract would suit me - occa looks a darn sight better than my currentold lump of plastic!!

traceye October 3rd, 2008 a 02:52 pm

I cant stop gabbing (a typical woman) , and am constantly texting, so it would have to be the £45 a month deal for me - 900 minutes and unlimited texts..... I'd hopefully never go over my minutes allowance with this!!

Good luck everyone.

csr65 October 3rd, 2008 a 02:51 pm

£35 contract for £25 def worth the extra over the £20 contract to get the 600 minutes rather than the 200!

lucylou32 October 3rd, 2008 a 02:49 pm

£15 a month looks good to me :)

neilstudd October 3rd, 2008 a 02:48 pm

£35 a month, including 600 minutes, and unlimited text and email, is an excellent deal. At the moment I'm on a different provider, who charges through the teeth for mobile internet access - this offer gives great peace of mind, and no nasty surprises at the end of the month! And the handset is free on the £35p/m tarrif - doubly awesome.

L2wis October 3rd, 2008 a 02:48 pm

I'm tempted to go for the £30 a month unlimited texts and 600 mins!

lorrainebuchan October 3rd, 2008 a 02:45 pm

wow what a great deal, would definitely go for this if i wasn't still in contract! Id go for the 600 Minutes any time, any network and unlimited texts tariff for £25/month (saving of £10 per month by buying online).

Would love to win a pair of the ManU tickets too!

nickgreenan October 3rd, 2008 a 02:44 pm

£20 a month, 200 minutes and unlimited text. that's better than i get now for the same price, not bad.

jakmiller October 3rd, 2008 a 02:43 pm

600 mins unltd txt for £30 is a good deal for a tocco!

jlov October 3rd, 2008 a 02:43 pm
