It is slightly sickening imho the way that this has spiralled.
At the end of the day it's a competition, when we started our clans we didn't realise we'd be up for a wii, when we put the effort in we didn't realise we'd be up for a wii.
And then when this great competition comes up we see some people trying every trick in the book to try and get themselves one, when in reality it's about somebody taking the time to think about nominating you.
Oh and in fairness brownmurder, your clan is the biggest yes, but only because it's come from MSE, so Martin Lewis should get your wii in fairness

I didn't win one, didn't nominate myself, and I'm not bitter about it- like I said in my clan it made my day to be nominated, especially as it's a one comment kinda clan, but (I hope) a useful one for quidco as a whole.

Well I initially offered bribes to my clan members that if a comment they put on here was chosen, I'd sell the Wii and split the earnings 50/50 lol...until I realised that wasnt the way it was running...I didnt win anyway, but not bitter at all, Im just happy to have earned over £1000 in nearly 2 years from using Quidco

@ coollittlew, we do appreciate your Quidclan is one of the larger ones, and our first competition was for larger Quidclans to try to show appreciation for that. But as this competition was the final one of this round, we wanted it to be inclusive of both small and large Quidclans. We're very sorry for any disappointment caused to anyone.

@quidco: I understand that, but it also defeats the point of recognition for hard working admin. A clan with 3 members, is nowhere near as much maintenance as a clan with 1500 members, nor is it as much as a benefit to the quidco community as a whole. At the end of the day the clan with more members are the clans that are most useful to people. People would not join a clan if it was not useful, so numbers speak for them selves.

Hey brownmurder - the idea is to get some public recognition for your hard graft as well as get in the running for a prize. You've definitely been working hard on your clan and it's the biggest one but we do want to be fair and there are some smaller clans where the founders and members are really helping each other out alot even though they aren't massive.

infact i just think the 5 with the most members should win as they are the ones that have put in the most effort

using a random comment to pick winners is the same as taking every quidclan in a hat and picking 1 out even tho some might only have 1 member and not logged on in ages

just seems like its rewarding any founder not just the ones that put in the graft?

The CHARITY QUIDCLAN (started by jrwo) is a great idea and campaigns for quidco to offer the option to donate a percentage of your monthly cashback to charity.

I think this is a great idea as we are already profiting where we previously weren't so at the end of the day would not miss some of the cashback each month- and it could mean an awful lot more to someone else.
