Quidco Staff Profiles: Nat

November 4th, 2008

It's time for another Quidco staff profile. Our subject this time around is Nat:

Nat, who is Quidco's Admin Co-ordinator, is Sheffield born & bred. She likes traveling, films (Kill Bill, Leon, and anything scary), TV (she loves Heroes!), and eating out. Her favourite foods are Chinese, Italian, Sunday Roast, Galaxy chocolate and creme eggs - mmmmm! How do you eat yours?

Nat isn't going to narrow down her idea of a dream holiday - she wants to see the world! She's off to a good start, having already been to Paradise (The Maldives), and her next stop is Mexico, early next year.

Nat's favourite band is Kings of Leon, whom she'll be seeing at Sheffield Arena later this year. She's got two cats, Misty & Padina, a 9 week old Jack Russell pup called Jack, and a few fish in a murky pond. She is bi-lingual, speaking both English and Sheffieldish.

Her quote to live by is ''Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we`re here we should dance.'' Given a choice of Blades or Owls, Nat's answer was "The Red and White Wizards!" Finally, when asked if there was anything else she'd like to share, Nat responded with "I never share!"

Nat's 30-Second Quidco Bio:

What do you do at Quidco?
Admin Co-ordinator. I liaise with all of the Networks on a daily basis, issuing them enquiry reports, answering queries, problems and dealing with escalated enquiries.... and many more! My main aim at the moment is to ensure Sureshop enquiries are being resolved. They are improving, you'll see!

How long have you been with Quidco? just over a year, since July 07

Whatâs your typical workday like? manic and stressful-but I love it!

Quidco superpowers: The power of persuasion

Secret weapon: My little blue 4gb stick

Nemesis: hmm...keep my friends close and my enemies even closer?

Greatest weakness: Gadgets and I'm a shopaholic, I love a bargain!

Sidekick: Cake or rather 'SideCake' (grumble) :-p (Office Birthday's are the best for Cake!)

You must to post a comment.

Hi Guys, thanks for your comments. With regards to your Insurance payments. We are working on improving the processes so we can get the payments for your enquiries as smooth and as fast as possible. Obviously this depends on how fast the merchant can pay the networks and then they have to send the payment to us. We appreciate your concerns on this and always take our members feedback on board. Please note that the average time for the cashback to be 'received' from the date the enquiry was approved is generally 3-4 months. Some insurance companies even have a 4 month validation period so this will also cause a slight delay. Our accounts team are working really hard at the moment getting the outstanding payments resolved, so please bare with them, they haven't forgotten about you!

Ultranet - Jack doesn't really bark at the cats because he knows it's their house but he tries to play with them. They pretend they aren't interested but they love him really.

Sea138 - Your Coral enquiry was responded to in September 08. Again, our accounts team are chasing this for you.

FEARNT - I live in the South of Sheffield and the perfect place for 'Jack' would have to be the 'Rother Valley Country Park', it's beautiful. :)

FEARNT November 12th, 2008 a 12:57 pm

Hello Nat

As a fellow Sheffielder i just wondered what place in our great city you would consider the most beautiful and would you take your "Jack" with you on a visit?

Rememeber you can please some of the people some of the time but never all the people all of the time but nothing wrong in trying.

sea138 November 10th, 2008 a 01:10 am

Hi Nat - why do you never reply to my messages with regards to the Coral missing £25 which I raised in October 2007 and have still not received ???

ultranet November 9th, 2008 a 11:23 pm

Just wondered how well the cats get on with the temptation of fish and now a young pup that will bark at them!! Cat lover here (but one sister has dogs).

mumto7 November 9th, 2008 a 09:35 pm

And go on... give us something in Sheffieldish... but not with a mouth full of cake please ;o)

hariky November 8th, 2008 a 09:50 am

I presume quidco is not a charity!

Thanks to quidco i saved a significant amount of money that i used to lose earlier. I was really impressed with the responses I got when I enquired for missing transactions. Worth £5 annual fee and few weeks/months of delay.

Kabz November 8th, 2008 a 12:37 am

Quidco don't just make money from our £5 admission fee, they also make money from our cashback. The cash back from affiliates to a website is generally within a month straight into your account after a sales lead. I know because I have my own a affiliate programme website, which generates me money via sales commission.

After we the consumer buy something, Quidco then says its tracking, validating, receiving etc as a smoke screen to postpone them from paying you straight away (aleast over a month in some cases for higher amounts). What they then do with our entire "colective" of cashback is place it in a high interest account and other financial instruments to generate further revenue.

You have just been enlighten.

@Kabz, as soon as Quidco receive payment for commissions, those transactions are marked as received and are paid to the members in that month's payment run. Regards, Quidco.

lorraine123 November 7th, 2008 a 05:13 pm

Same here 10 months for Pru Health and no idea of when I will be paid. They are apparently a sure shop member also.

niceguyed November 7th, 2008 a 12:03 pm

Yeah, I often find that it tends to be the insurance transactions that don't track. Most of my enquiries are from this. I had a Nationwide enquiry that was successful and added in May but still no payment. Just because transactions are added I don't see why they should fall that far out of the normal payment cycle!

Hi Nat

Just thought I would say goodluck

Also You mention the following

My main aim at the moment is to ensure Sureshop enquiries are being resolved. They are improving, youâll see!

can you look in to why insurance sureshop enqueries take nearly a year to pay on Quidco, I have stopped using Quidco for policy type cash backs as Quidco just does seem to be able to get the merchants to pay out in a timely mannor where as Topcashback is extremely fast and efficient- I used CHurchhill insurance in April - who I think were a sureshop and they have not paid out on my transaction.

ukmonkey November 6th, 2008 a 11:36 pm

Just thought i would say hello Nat, i also love Kill Bill, Leon, anything scary and Kings of Leon.
Keep up the good work....
