huytonian November 30th, 2008 a 11:28 am

It would have to be at Chamonix I'm afraid - not very imaginative I know! I drove very close to Mont Blanc about five years ago, it was one of the most stunning sights I've ever seen. It still lives with me to this day!

mikoneill November 30th, 2008 a 09:17 am

Dream package is flights ex LHR at a civilised time. Seamless transfer by train to the resort. Full board accommodation with quality wine at dinner in a cosy chalet with all the family. Deep powder for off-piste fun and games.

RachelSkinner November 29th, 2008 a 09:23 pm

Most definitely a family holiday to Banff - have had my eye on a couple of weeks there for years and we've never done it! US Rockies were fabulous last year so I'd like to go further north this time...

My dream package is anywhere. Chamonix sounds great. I would love to learn to ski.

spongebob November 29th, 2008 a 07:17 pm

went last year to la plagne. Has to be one of the best skiing resorts for all ages, take the high speed gondola to Les Arcs for another thrill. Alpharooms bring tommorows memories today, cool site.

beardedgoose November 29th, 2008 a 06:49 pm

the place to go. Ive never been skiing but it is something on my "list" to do. Unfortunately my bank balance doesn't allow me to fulfil everything on my list.

beardedgoose November 29th, 2008 a 06:47 pm

I would have to say somewhere like Kitzbuhel in Austria. I just think if you are going to a ski resort for the first time then saying you are going to Austria is

jacroberts November 29th, 2008 a 06:12 pm

I've never been skiing but would love to.
I don't know where but if it's a prize anywhere would be great.

melcarroll November 29th, 2008 a 05:51 pm

I would like to go back to Soll in Austria to remind me of our first ever ski holiday. we did a couple of lessons on a dry slope before the holiday and then just went for it when we got there. It was terrifying we went up a drag lift to the top of this mountain then took most of the day to get back down, mostly on our bums. Hopefully our skiing has improved a bit since then!!

hcsshrya November 29th, 2008 a 05:30 pm

I never saw so many choices of ski holidays. Picked a randmon one, Le Britania and hope the random.org picks me.

ashsingal November 29th, 2008 a 04:13 pm

it all looks fantastic and the choice is endless. somewhere on a beach sipping cocktails with blue skies and warm seas with a breeze to keep you cool and not a worry in the world.

weichan November 29th, 2008 a 03:51 pm

Whistler Canada looks amazing!

arma November 29th, 2008 a 03:35 pm

would love to do whistler - residence inn by marriott looks magical from the pic :)

mufcmufc November 29th, 2008 a 03:27 pm

Mydream holiday package will be a week of skiing in Mont Tremblant, staying at the delightful Fairmont Tremblant for a week.

ihanash November 29th, 2008 a 04:00 am

Ok. I only took up skiing about 4 years ago but I absolutely love it. Looking at the Alpharooms website the Grandes Rousses Massif and I'm always up for a challenge so the the world's longest black run on Sarenne really appeals to my sense of adventure. Looks like its a great skiing holiday destination for those on a modest budget!

markforster November 29th, 2008 a 12:25 am

I think I'd definitely have to go for France. Chamonix is one of the best resorts for off piste banter. I understand a lot of people like Whistler, but France wins every time for me because you can eat breakfast in your home and be there just after lunch!!!! Thanks

sukraine November 28th, 2008 a 11:16 pm

Lake Louise in Canada would be a fab place to have my first ski holiday with my daughter. Always wanted to go to the Fairmont Chateau, it's got to be one of the most beautiful places in the world.

knit1foryou November 28th, 2008 a 10:13 pm

ooh good comp!

Courchevel in France looks amazing (and really expensive!)

Please can I stay at the fabulous 3 star Hotel Latitudes Du Golf De Courchevel 1650 plus I really need lift passes too Many Thanks to Alpharooms & Quidco!

soks53 November 28th, 2008 a 09:45 pm

the silver star mountain resort for me - maybe id learn to ski ? but the snowboarding looks awesome.. fingers crossed x

jbicknell November 28th, 2008 a 09:27 pm

It would have to be a ski trip to Kaprun for my husband and I as he proposed to me half way down the mountain when we were last there (although I think it was just an excuse to have a rest!!)...Good luck to everyone in the ski competition...break a leg!

mrwhitelabel November 28th, 2008 a 09:26 pm

but if i picked from the alpha rooms packages Courchevel looks good
had some friends work out there who had a great season

mrwhitelabel November 28th, 2008 a 09:18 pm

mrwhitelabel November 28th, 2008 a 09:18 pm

some where eastern europe for me

a great time for limited cost

aljahope November 28th, 2008 a 09:11 pm

Whistler...it looks so pretty

HodgeyPodgy November 28th, 2008 a 09:00 pm

I would choose Whistler as the best package for me. This is because I have five wishes that would make the ultimate skiing skiing holiday: 1)Snow (got to help hasn't it?), 2)Sunshine, 3) Shadows (goes with no 2 really) 4) Speed (down those massive slopes) and 5) Social (good company and excellent food). Looks like Whistler may tick all these boxes.

vassy November 28th, 2008 a 08:58 pm

St Anton, ooh all that snow!

ianhogg November 28th, 2008 a 08:15 pm

I'd love to try the wide open pistes of North America, but Chamonix will always be my first love.

Whoever wins - you've got to go to Chambre Neuf for Apres Ski - home of the legendary Balboas (the house band). Huge fun, such a riot, and don't forget to kiss the moose head...

rlimer November 28th, 2008 a 07:27 pm

My choice would be Banff too

ghart November 28th, 2008 a 07:05 pm

My dream holiday would be Whistler, Canada

crazynutter November 28th, 2008 a 04:46 pm

Alberta, Canada for me please, Banff town in particular. Since it is a dream getaway, stay at the Rimrock Resort pls. Scrap the sking though, we want to snowboard!!!!

hextim November 28th, 2008 a 04:15 pm

Anywhere with lots of snow but beginner friendly slopes would suit me. Have only been skiing a couple of times before, but loved Alpe d'huez when I went in 2001.

hdeusi November 28th, 2008 a 04:09 pm

Whistler in Canada for me!

Woodie November 28th, 2008 a 03:54 pm

Zell am See would be my dream location and package - Austria the home of skiing plus the dream setting of a lakeside location and towering mountains - something out of the ordinary and rather special - in fact a dream package

clareaitken November 28th, 2008 a 03:48 pm

OMG what a fantastic prize, i've just learnt to ski and i would love to go to Banff Canada, ive heard such great recommendations from freinds and i dying to try it for myself!!

macdazza November 28th, 2008 a 03:38 pm

Avoriaz would be a fantastic location to ski. You can ski in both France and Switzerland. Lots of the local villages that surround the area offer great food and plenty of uplift back to the Avoriaz ski area....great skiing and great food. Does life get any better!

cat4772 November 28th, 2008 a 03:03 pm

Valnord (pal) arsinal would be the ideal destination for me as it is so close to Spain I could combine a skiing holiday with some sightseeing. However each visit to any slope has ended with me visiting A&E it's probably better it I don't win and just dream of being a competent skier!

dibdab00 November 28th, 2008 a 02:53 pm

Ohhhhhhhh Chamonix please near enough to get straight on the slopes and GORGEOUS!
My dream holiday would be to be able to take my 1 & 2 year old with us to a child friendly hotel which has a great creche and a ski school for toddlers - but I can't find one so will leave the kids with Daddy and go with my pal ;-)

Gingenie November 28th, 2008 a 02:41 pm

I have wanted to go to Canada for ages, so whistler or banff for sure, with maybe a trip to vancouver for our honeymoon!

piblet November 28th, 2008 a 02:39 pm

Whistler!

My fiancee and I are getting married next year and so I've decided to give skiing a miss this year. I've never been to Canada, so would love to go. That said, I've nver been to Chamonix either!!

demongamesuk November 28th, 2008 a 02:36 pm

I would totally Love to go to Whistler, Canada as I have wanted to visit Canada for a long time now :)

Balbina November 28th, 2008 a 12:59 pm

Just being away from work for a week would be great and a lovely snow and skiing an extra bonus!

alastairc November 28th, 2008 a 12:48 pm

We went to Tignes before the children were born and had a great time. That was three years ago. After a very tiring couple of years it would be great to be able to take my wife on holiday - leaving the grandparents to do some childcare ! - back to Tignes but this time to a apartment which was as well kitted out as this one:

http://www.alpharooms.com/neige_dor_in_tignes.aspx

The great thing about this holiday is that my wife can learn to Ski (she has given up boarding) and there is enough variation in the runs for both of us.

Not to mention that we might go out a couple of nighhts or three - and lie in!

Here is hoping :-)

loobyvee November 28th, 2008 a 12:20 pm

It would have to be Chamonix, have wonderful memories of spending Christmas there as a teenager but not been able to afford to go again. The choice of runs are amazing and it is so romantic.

laredman November 28th, 2008 a 10:15 am

I think it would have to be Whistler for me as I have a real fastination with Canada - especially in the snow. Somewhere in Italy would come a close second though as the food there is always soooo good!

SuperBob November 28th, 2008 a 10:07 am

It would have to be Summit Lodge in Whistler it an amazing hotel in a great ski resort.

I went on a skiing holiday about 10 years ago last and it was the best holiday I've been on. I've been promising my girlfriend to a ski holiday since we met and have yet to make it.

alinaee November 28th, 2008 a 12:46 am

I've liked this guy for ages and he loves skiing so this would be a prefect way/excuse to ask him out. Plus i love skiing too so killing 2 birds with 1 stone....PERFECT!!
A dream package would be an all inclusive package where all i'd only have to worry about is skiing........(and getting on the flight of course)

kaymurphy November 27th, 2008 a 11:40 pm

Wow Whistler for me, love to ski again last went to rockies on honeymoon almost 8 years ago! - how times change, now two adorable children too young to ski, but maybe old enough to stay with granny and grandad if we won?!

crgs November 27th, 2008 a 11:23 pm

Any where with lots of beautiful crisp white snow and good company.

Robert40 November 27th, 2008 a 11:20 pm

Always wanted to take my 3 boys. As teenagers now they would love to win the dream package to Chamonix, I checked out the packages on offer and Alpe D'huez looks great, bargain!

p.s. the little sun juggling should not look so battered and worried, I havent seen him drop anything yet!!

kraven November 27th, 2008 a 11:18 pm

Chamonix looks good to me as well ! But Banff everytime

DavidWorley November 27th, 2008 a 11:12 pm

St Moritz, or Whistler. Beyond my wildest dreams.

vassy November 27th, 2008 a 10:53 pm

Chamonix, snow, log fires, apres ski, lovely.

princesskerry November 27th, 2008 a 10:44 pm

Mont Tremblant looks wonderful, I have only ever been skiing on a dry ski slope so this would be an ultimate dream, also a week away from the children in a cold place leaves plenty of cuddles as well as skiing.

eviltammo1 November 27th, 2008 a 09:31 pm

dream would have to be Canada...perfect snow and maple syrup at the end of a days skiing....perfect!!

stitch89 November 27th, 2008 a 09:07 pm

Wow, so much choice! I'd love a holiday to Whistler in Canada...I've heard so many wonderful things!

chrisaston November 27th, 2008 a 09:00 pm

Park City in Utah would do me, staying in the Mariott!

lilac26 November 27th, 2008 a 08:23 pm

I would go for the Best Western Premier Kaiserhof in Kitzbuhel. The area is stunning in winter or summer.

dodgyboy November 27th, 2008 a 08:19 pm

Its got to be either Whistler or Davos... One day I'll get to go to these two :o )

mitchell76 November 27th, 2008 a 07:17 pm

My dream package would be to return to Whistler mountain where I proposed to my wife but this time be able to take her skiing instead of mountain biking and zip trekking.

bronzevernis November 27th, 2008 a 07:13 pm

Would love to go to Whistler, Canada as I've always wanted to visit Canada and I have always had fantasies about very deep powder white snow, hunky ski instructors, snuggly chalets and fabulous apres-ski. St Anton in Austria would be a great second choice, especially at Christmas!

jerrymartin November 27th, 2008 a 06:09 pm

Like what other people have said a holiday in Canada would be very nice, Skiing, mountains, forests what could be better.

authoritaaah84 November 27th, 2008 a 05:43 pm

As much as I'd love Canada (any resort) I've always fancied Austria, Zell Am See or Solden. Having only bee to Bulgaria we are looking to branch out!

Squirty November 27th, 2008 a 05:19 pm

Whistler Canada looks amazing! Skiing and enjoying the scenery... Paradise!!

thelucky7 November 27th, 2008 a 04:58 pm

Summit Lodge in Whistler Canada!! Snow as far as the eye can see, just me and my girlfriend, would love to finally persuade her that a skiing holiday has to be seen to be believed

coollittlew November 27th, 2008 a 04:54 pm

Has Alfaroons gone? The link is no longer working on the blog.

nigeljt November 27th, 2008 a 03:55 pm

I'd love to give Mayrhofen in Austria a go as I've read good things about it and the Alpharooms info appealed too, but if I were to take my wife it would have to be Tignes as that was where we had our very first ski holiday :-)

coolmanlr November 27th, 2008 a 03:50 pm

The Residence Inn in Whistler does sound good!

evereadyken November 27th, 2008 a 03:24 pm

Both Chamonix and Whistler look fantastic. Either would be a great way to celebrate my impending 50th.

dom75 November 27th, 2008 a 03:10 pm

poshnorris November 27th, 2008 a 02:44 pm

Got to be Canada. Got to be Banff!

sproutnet November 27th, 2008 a 02:17 pm

pagc November 27th, 2008 a 09:43 am

Always fancied but never been skiing yet and seeing as though my son is off to North America skiing with school in February 09, it only seems fair that I should win this competition so we can compare experiences on our returns !!

quidcojames01 November 27th, 2008 a 09:41 am

Page not found!

Lucia November 27th, 2008 a 09:28 am

Cortina sounds lovely and it would be great to take the children for their first skiing trip.

nivek2105 November 27th, 2008 a 12:58 am

I would go for the Residence Inn By Marriott in Whistler. I can't ski to save my life, but the resort looks great.

Kimbo08 November 27th, 2008 a 12:56 am

Whistler for me! No matter your level or the type of terrain you prefer to ski - Whistler offers everything from beginner to expert runs, moguls, perfectly groomed corduroy, cruisers, steeps, chutes, terrain parks and more!

lyonbuyer November 26th, 2008 a 11:59 pm

Saalbach for me: great mix of slopes, drinks and social scene! and not as crowded as other european destinations either

sandra63 November 26th, 2008 a 11:39 pm

Definitely Whistler for me. Resort look fabulous.

vassy November 26th, 2008 a 11:22 pm

whistler at the residence hotel, lovely.

MissGosh November 26th, 2008 a 10:52 pm

My dream package really would be the Chamonix trip up for grabs; the idea of hurling myself down a mountain on two planks of wood sounds like my cup of tea - or make that a mulled wine or three please!

norfolk12a1 November 26th, 2008 a 10:21 pm

We would love to visit Crans Montana, sounds perfect for the holiday of a lifetime, we have never skied before so this would be a fabulous experience.

charliemouse101 November 26th, 2008 a 10:19 pm

chamonix in january, banff in march......I'm a lucky girl. I'll suffer another trip if it's on offer!!! Oh yeah and we got married on top of a mountain at Lake Louise Feb 07. Only a short trip(2wks) this time usually 4wks....
The hospital in Banff is great..... just in case

kirstiewood November 26th, 2008 a 09:53 pm

A visit back after 20 years ago on a school trip. WOW!

wileycat November 26th, 2008 a 09:25 pm

ski lodge with huge open wood fire! Just cosy weekend away from it all!

andvi1977 November 26th, 2008 a 08:34 pm

I would have to go with Zell am See, Austria. We got married their in March this year so would be lovely to go back. Our wedding photos with mountains in the background are amazing.

I would recommend a ski wedding to anyone!

cmrule November 26th, 2008 a 08:27 pm

A package holiday to Canada and a stay in 'The Delta Whistler Village Suites' would be fantastic!
Its about time I dusted the cobwebbs away from my boots!
... But will I still remember how to ski????? Only one way to find out! :)

Gingerwarrior November 26th, 2008 a 08:21 pm

Japan, Canada, the US, there is a fair few holidays of a lifetime on the site. Banff or Whistler would be once in a lifetime, as would japan. Skiing has been off the menu for a few years but one of these trips might be worth splashing out for. Hey, Chamonix would be awesome.

vassy November 26th, 2008 a 08:21 pm

Cortina sounds nice. The description says..Cortina is
Italy's most famous and stylish resort, often ranked along side St Moritz (you can play polo on snow at both),
sounds very posh...

Jannel November 26th, 2008 a 08:10 pm

Whistler for me, too, please. Went to Canada ski-ing last over a decade ago and loved the people, the food and the snow!

Carinafe November 26th, 2008 a 07:51 pm

Back to Canada for me, I'd love to go snowboarding in Whistler. It's meant to to be the best place ever!

jockass November 26th, 2008 a 07:36 pm

For me it would have to be the banff rocky mountain resort for 2 weeks. Apparently there is a take away in Banff that does the hottest suicide wings in Canada. Should warm the cockles after a cold day on the slopes.

kmlhearn November 26th, 2008 a 06:45 pm

Delta Whistler Village Suites for me too!! I am thinking of maple syrup on pancakes for breakfast before a morning on the snow! Or crepes in Chamonix... and then a bottle of red in the evening...

hardiesarah84 November 26th, 2008 a 06:03 pm

Delta Whistler Village Suite sounds good to me, although would love to win the prize to Chamonix!!

stuotto November 26th, 2008 a 06:03 pm

I'd love to go to Whistler!

Samsun November 26th, 2008 a 05:46 pm

My dream package would be Bormio, Italy as I've only ever been skiing in France. The hotel Baita Clementi looks ideal!!

Love Chamonix though!

stewem November 26th, 2008 a 04:54 pm

Austria would be great ... We have always wanted to go boarding for a week without the kids. But then it did say a dream trip!

krazeekiz November 26th, 2008 a 04:49 pm

It's got to be a week in St Moritz, Switzerland! Though I'd settle for Chamonix!!

Shinkansen November 26th, 2008 a 04:18 pm

It`d be Whistler for me for some back country boarding. Blackcomb probably. And absolutely no skiiing whatsoever.

accite November 26th, 2008 a 04:17 pm

A road trip in Canada with a bit of heli riding thrown in would be my dream... But a powder day in Chamonix has got to be a dream day for any serious snow fan!

Jibe1978 November 26th, 2008 a 04:06 pm

Banff for me as I have done Whistler but would love to go back to that area!!!

sidtrix November 26th, 2008 a 03:56 pm

Whistler, Canada looks real nice....

r1ch November 26th, 2008 a 03:54 pm

Our ideal would be to go back to Obergurgl in Austria again, flying out of Newcastle. It's a much smaller resort than we normally go to (I used to live not far from Whistler) but we had such a fantastic time there last year we'll have to go back!

angelalittle November 26th, 2008 a 03:20 pm

Sounds perfect! A trip without children in the mountain air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gally78 November 26th, 2008 a 02:59 pm

ROYAL ISLAND RESORT & SPA IN THE MALDIVES IS THE ONLY DESTINATION IN THE WORLD TO GO TO.
PARADISE ON EARTH AND THE LOCAL STAFF ARE SOME OF THE FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE YOU WILL EVER MEET.
I HAVE TO GO AGAIN

LJBeresford November 26th, 2008 a 02:28 pm

I would love to go Canada. I have friends who live there, would love to meet up with them and have another go at skiing. Failing that France or Switzerland! :D I tried skiing once in Scotland but not had the opportunity to go again since.

annettemillar November 26th, 2008 a 02:15 pm

I would love to go to any of the Canadian resorts to see my best friend who has been living in Canada for 2 years. However I would settle for Chamonix too! :) Would just love to try skiing

leapinglemur November 26th, 2008 a 02:05 pm

I would love to go to Whistler, it looks amazing. I've never being skiing before and would love to try it. I'd also love to see some proper snow, we just don't get much in Sheffield these days!

etherz November 26th, 2008 a 01:55 pm

Kirchberg, had a great time there last time :-)

scottishbargain November 26th, 2008 a 01:43 pm

I would choose 7 days in Banff. There's something for everyone here, from skiing, to sledging, shopping, eating, or cultural activities. -

poppadom75 November 26th, 2008 a 01:37 pm

Any break away is the perfect break - we run a guest house and have 2 weeks off a year so it would be bliss to just be able to afford to do something more than just sleep for those 2 weeks! Never been skiiing before and we've both dreamt of going for ages!

gransfield November 26th, 2008 a 01:36 pm

Lake Louise In Canada is where I've always wanted to ski - breathtaking scenery, good variety of runs and some top class hotels and bars. Just wish it didn't take so long to get there!

Bri69uk November 26th, 2008 a 12:55 pm

Whistler, Canada looks like the perfect place to go. How nice does it look,Good luck everyone(even though i hope i win lol).

hodsey77 November 26th, 2008 a 12:43 pm

My dream package would be to Canada - I'd combine the ski trip with a visit to my husband's family that emigrated over there, who he's not seen for years :)

Gonk November 26th, 2008 a 12:23 pm

Austria is the place to be for me. I fell in love with the place when passing through Innsbruck around 20 years ago, when travelling around, but that was in the summer. I've not stopped carping on about it since & need to get back there.

ificouldpaint November 26th, 2008 a 12:22 pm

Has to be Whistler in Canada, beautiful scenery and great skiing.

sp466 November 26th, 2008 a 11:46 am

Whistler Canada

dmaudsley November 26th, 2008 a 10:42 am

I'm determined to get my wife skiing so a chalet with a hot tub, somewhere with decent beginners' slopes and decent hot chocolate would be a must - and somewhere picturesque. Austria perhaps? Or I could just go heliskiing in Whistler on my own :)

robintay November 26th, 2008 a 10:24 am

Checking out Whistler, Canada would be a blast! Wife and I are neither a skiier or a snowboarder but hopefully with some lessons in the Swiss Alps this Christmas will change all that.

Euchre November 26th, 2008 a 10:18 am

It would have to be Whistler and the Summit Lodge ... the sunshine...the amazing snow... the apres ski...the log fires and the fun fun fun fun fun.....

Makes me feel all Christmasy just thinking about it!

brightandshiny November 26th, 2008 a 10:09 am

Id love to go to Mont Tremblant in Canada, right now there saying 25cm of fresh snow in the next few days along with the scenery who could resist it

avengerpenguins November 26th, 2008 a 09:58 am

It would definitely have to be one of the Canadian ones for me. Beautiful scenery and the chance of seeing wild bears!!

tracyb99 November 26th, 2008 a 09:47 am

Got to be La Clusaz for me. I love skiing.

newomaghwoodsy November 26th, 2008 a 08:39 am

Wow - so much to choose from. Have had a great time looking - although deciding on a dream destination has proved difficult. I think it would hav to be Whistler. I have never been to Canada, and it looks amazing. The Summit Lodge it would have to be.

However, the prize in Chamonix looks wonderful, so Iâm posting this comment with a little bit of magic snow and pixie dust in the hope that the ski-gods feel like being kind to me! I so want to go after looking at all those wonderful snow covered mountainsâ¦.

Absolutely, i could not agree more...credit crunch nasties though have meant the $$$ simply aint there at the moment. Tahts despuite 7 of my friends going off to Chamonix for the festive period!!!!

Depression!!!!

kristieoliver November 26th, 2008 a 08:30 am

My dream holiday and the opportunity of a lifetime would be the prize - Ski holiday for 2 in Chamonix

Slackadder November 26th, 2008 a 08:08 am

Bannf would be my ultimate choice from their selection. Staying at the Fox Hotel - the hot spa sounds relaxing after a hard days skiing!!

paulburrows November 25th, 2008 a 11:29 pm

My choice would be Crans Montana, Switzerland, but Chamonix would do just nicely!

vassy November 25th, 2008 a 11:28 pm

Whistler, nice dream, log way to go, best stick with some where in europe, St Moritz, ooh posh, Verbier, St Anton ( not the bloke from strictly come dancing). But Chamonix would be really welcome.

kirstienutten November 25th, 2008 a 11:25 pm

would love to go to St Anton am Arlberg, Austria.

crgs November 25th, 2008 a 11:22 pm

St Moritz, Chamonix, Whistler, Verbier, the list is a long one. They all sound great and `i would love a trip to any of them. Snow, apres ski, warm log fires, good company, just chilling, it would be great.

Roskilly November 25th, 2008 a 11:15 pm

Would love to ski at Jackson Hole - Friends went there and it was amazing. I can just imagine a log cabin - roaring fire! - oh yes and the ski! But the prize in France would do nicely - really badly need lessons!

crgs November 25th, 2008 a 11:12 pm

chamonix, snow, skiing, what else can you ask for, sounds lovely

chiefwiggam November 25th, 2008 a 10:59 pm

Mecronuss November 25th, 2008 a 10:04 pm

my dream getaway, well anywhere as long as its away from work and with my gorgeous wifey

crgs November 25th, 2008 a 09:48 pm

St Anton am Arlberg, Austria. Not too far to fly, no serious jet lag, etc. Looks great too.

Lake Louise in Canada would get my vote!

crgs November 25th, 2008 a 09:45 pm

Banff Rocky Mountain Resort in canada is looking great to me, never had a chance to visit canada before, sounds wonderful for a ski holiday.

paulchillout November 25th, 2008 a 09:40 pm

my dreams are modest - I fancy Sant Julia, Andorra - canada is too far ;

rabb238 November 25th, 2008 a 09:34 pm

Definitely Zermat in Switzerland - scenery is stunning, town is lovely and the skiing is excellent.

philippacollins November 25th, 2008 a 08:50 pm

I would love a double centred holiday, some time in vancouver and some time in whistler. it's truly beautiful, fresh and exciting! voted the world's best city to live in, who wouldn' want to find out what's so great about vanouver, before hopping off to see the magnificent heights of whistler, soon to be an olympic venue!

JayDubya November 25th, 2008 a 08:47 pm

I'd almost choose Whistler ahead of Banff, especially as they've now got the peak to peak gondola open. The Blackcomb Glacier is sheer bliss, acres of fluffy snow and hardly a soul on it. Rain on the mountain is all too common though.

But for character and beauty, Banff would get my choice, I could happily ski Sunshine forever, despite it's size. Mmmmmm.

Unfortunately skiing has been put on hold for quite a few years with new twins arriving this year! It wouldn't stop me going to Chamonix though!

skjkan November 25th, 2008 a 08:45 pm

Week in Courcheval. Looks to be a stonking season in the Alps this year. (About time too!)

foiled November 25th, 2008 a 08:04 pm

Kekeke November 25th, 2008 a 04:38 pm

Silvana November 25th, 2008 a 03:05 pm

I love Canada and think Banff would be a gorgeous place to go skiing in.

eloisetalbott November 25th, 2008 a 02:59 pm

Banff in Canada looks great to me - i have always wanted to visit canada and combined with skiing - which i think is great - it seems like a perfect holiday. Chamonix sounds like good fun too though!!

happygrass14 November 24th, 2008 a 09:48 pm

The Summit Lodge in Whistler looks gorgeous and I would love a ski holiday there because of the central village location and lively atmosphere. Looks like there would be something to do for the whole family, and with two small children, that is a plus. We do enjoy skiing Europe though too, although Canada is cheaper and clientele friendly on the slopes too.
Great web site, easy to use and follow, although where is Colorado and other US destinations? Supposed to be amazing skiing there. Thanks!

whitehead6682 November 24th, 2008 a 09:44 pm

Canada all day everyday!! looks quality

lewpylew November 24th, 2008 a 09:29 pm

I would love to spend my days gliding over the snow in Whistler. After trying skiing 14 years ago when I was 16 and having an accident where I cut my head open quite badly, I would like to overcome my fears and tackle them head on. Canada is a stunning country and I have heard fantastic things about Whistler from the food to the people to the apres ski! : )

Arbu November 24th, 2008 a 10:36 am

Banff in Canada is my dream ski destination, simply because I've been to Whistler which was great but never to Banff. I imagine the quality is similar to Whistler and I know the scenery is amazing too. But Chamonix is great too!

murkyhorse November 24th, 2008 a 10:27 am

I have been lucky enough to have been on several Ski trips but my new partner and her children have never been. This would be a dream trip come true for them as we could all be away together. I have often said that that its not where you are so much as who you're with!

Verbier, Switzerland - I always thought skiing was much more expensive.Maybe we'll consider it next year. Thank you Alpharooms

spottypinkdog November 23rd, 2008 a 08:06 pm

My dream trip would be a ski-in ski-out place with variety of runs - plenty of challenging blacks and couloirs for my fella and some good reds and easy (!) blacks for me. Good apres-ski with plenty of Europop which makes it Austria - probably Saalbach, St Anton or Mayrhofen. France could also fit the bill - Val d'Isere would be top billing. Hell, anywhere we could go out to play all day in the snow and anywhere I haven't yet been would keep me amazingly happy.

I've always really really wanted to try Canada - the powder's supposed to be the best isn't it. Secretly though, I might just not come back!

IanLogan November 23rd, 2008 a 06:00 pm

Kitzbühel is a MUST. So many runs to choose from and then there's the Hahnenkamm - although I'd rather not ski it when they ice it up for the world cup downhill! Great location, food, scenery and nightlife. I've mountain-biked down part of the Hahnenkamm - awesome!

wrebbecca November 23rd, 2008 a 03:46 pm

I've only ever skiied once, in Andorra for my 18th about 9 years ago! I did so well in that week (going on the black run on my last couple of days) it was suggested by my mates to go to the Whistler! Apparently the black runs there are so much more dangerous and much longer! So that would be my dream package.
I'm a bit of a daredevil with adrenaline boost on every dangerous thing i do.

nicola23bushy November 23rd, 2008 a 03:12 pm

Whistler for me - skied in America on my honeymoon and would love to ski in that neck of the woods again!

Chamonix looks beautiful and would be amazing - but have also always wanted to go to Whistler in Canada. Lots of snowy loveliness!

My dream holiday would have to be Whistler, but a ski holiday for 2 in Chamonix would be fantastic

michaelstiff November 23rd, 2008 a 10:40 am

It would have to be Kitzbuhel in Austria for me. Home of the major European championships, and it is only a short plane trip too.

ma3cjm November 23rd, 2008 a 10:06 am

Would have to be Whistler, Canada for me.

mouldycheese November 23rd, 2008 a 10:03 am

We'd love to go back to Hong King!

DANCAV November 23rd, 2008 a 06:03 am

Buffalo Mountain Lodge would be my ideal place since its an ideal place for celebration and we are getting engaged next month but can only afford Stockholm!...

BTW looks like Ive had the best deal ever in Stockholm at the Rica Talk Hotel just before Xmas for 3 nights. Their price £600 YOUR PRICE £124. going on 19/12 for 3 nights.

Thanks very much alpha rooms for the 8% cashback as well, unbeliveable deal in a very highly rated hotel by tripadvisor

TheGoalMachine November 23rd, 2008 a 01:58 am

For me it would be Mont Tremblant in Canada.

The resort sounds great and having won the title of 'Best Resort in the East' it must be fantastic.

I have never been skiing before and with the majority of the runs for Beginners I would not feel out of place.

michellea20 November 22nd, 2008 a 11:57 pm

Mont Tremblant in Canada, is where I want to be,
Iâd get to see the beautiful Laurentian Mountains, AND Iâd get to Ski!
I almost got to go skiing, back in early December,
But instead got left behind, something Iâll always remember : (
My financial circumstances changed, and I could no longer afford to go,
My friends are always rubbing it in, telling me how much they enjoyed the snow.
So to win a trip like this, would be a dream come true,
Iâd be over the moon, so just for the chance, I thank you xxx

michaeldoherty November 22nd, 2008 a 11:53 pm

A week in our own apartment in the little village of Argentiere, just outside of Chamonix would be magnifique! Think I'd rather go Europe than lose a couple of days flying.

flyingflea November 22nd, 2008 a 11:01 pm

Dream package would be Whistler in Canada. Haven't been in ages but always really enjoyed it in my younger days.

muddyfox470 November 22nd, 2008 a 10:10 pm

To be honest I've never been to North America for a ski holiday, it would have to be my dream holiday to go to Banff and deal with the challenging black runs to see how they do things on the other side of the pond :D A week or 2 away with good helpings of apres ski would be nice :)

Still Chamonix can't be that bad, what with the view of Mont Blanc and the cold weather we're having ;)

Danny44 November 22nd, 2008 a 09:32 pm

I'd have to go for a Saturday flight to Canada and stay in Whistler for a couple of weeks. Heaven!

I'd love to go to Chamonix. I've been skiing nearby with a friend so I know the area a bit.

beccafenwick November 22nd, 2008 a 06:40 pm

Any holiday sounds fantastic right now. I've never been skiing before but have always wanted to try. My boyfriend and I are currently saving up to get married so winning this would sort out our honeymoon:)

sarahbridges November 22nd, 2008 a 03:44 pm

I'd love to venture further afield and go to Tremblant in Eastern Canada. I've only been skiiing once, and would love to learn on the Laurentian Mountains. As long as there's plenty of snow and somewhere to get a hot chocolate to warm me up! :-)

scottkeir November 22nd, 2008 a 03:35 pm

Oh, Mont Tremblant in Canada - I'm really a beginner rather than advanced, so much as I'd love to go to Banff, I think this sounds much better!

RJAMES27 November 22nd, 2008 a 03:12 pm

I have three kids so my dream of living the high life has far passed me by. However, a week skiing in St Moritz wearing Chanel shades (all be them fake) might make up for it.

suzyee November 22nd, 2008 a 02:54 pm

My dream ski holiday would be anywhere, with my better then me at skiing 10 yr old daughter (learnt on a dry slope, for reasons which will become apparent). At any time during the overpriced school holidays period, in any decent hotel where a lone parent isn't clobbered by room supplements, and in my dreams eligible for free child places or discounts based on ONE adult. Back to sleep then ...........

bluelulworth November 22nd, 2008 a 02:29 pm

Whistler in Canada would be my dream package :)

matthewlee2525 November 22nd, 2008 a 02:22 pm

My dream package? Us or Canada - sun shining on a meter of fresh powder outside our ski in-ski out 5* lodge with a private hot tub on the balcony and a roaring log fire in the living room...

Never been skiing so would be a good prize

huxleypig November 22nd, 2008 a 02:03 pm

huxleypig November 22nd, 2008 a 02:03 pm

Only ever been to Scotland for skiing. Like the look of Mont Temblant in Canada. Anywhere would be a nice break though.

stick8 November 22nd, 2008 a 01:44 pm

I would pick Whistler in Canada too as my dream package, looks amazing but any skiing trip would be a wicked prize.

1404joannw November 22nd, 2008 a 01:42 pm

I've only ever had the pleasure of lessons on a ski slope in the UK, so anywhere in the Alpharooms brochure looks just about perfect to me;-)
The mountains, the snow, glaciers, apres-ski,different cultures....I get all tingly just thinking about it!Would make my dream come true.

Caro1978 November 22nd, 2008 a 01:25 pm

It would have to be Whistler in Canada - have never been to Canada OR skiing so why not try both!!

littlesunnyhill November 22nd, 2008 a 01:04 pm

A week in the snow with my new husband in Verbier sounds idillic to me!

sebcragg November 22nd, 2008 a 12:39 pm

mssblack November 22nd, 2008 a 12:33 pm

aconnelly November 22nd, 2008 a 12:22 pm

Would love a trip to Whistler in Canada, great places to stay, lots of runs for all abilities and the food looks yummy

musicals November 22nd, 2008 a 12:08 pm

Quidco, another rockin' offer, and good to see you and your chief executive getting a lot of publicity in the press at the moment - what took them so long?
My chosen Alpharooms ski location is St Anton am Arlberg in Austria. My wife gets travel sick and we can't travel further - but why would we want to? The Austrian slopes are second to none, and the food and drink are the best in Europe. I hope to get to sing a few numbers from "The Sound of Music" in the bar after too much of the latter.
Best wishes to all at Maple Syrup

mikefodden November 22nd, 2008 a 12:04 pm

TUX TUX Hintertux

rob2468 November 22nd, 2008 a 11:54 am

duncrieviedude November 22nd, 2008 a 11:04 am

I've never tried skiing although most of my friends go every year, but Lake Loiuse in Canada seems wonderful. Maybe I should take the plunge and give it a try

Would love to go to whistler, staying in some of alpharooms accommodation

GeogJon November 22nd, 2008 a 10:32 am

I think it would have to be Whistler in Canada

Dream Package for me would be deserted pistes, powder days and a hidden mountain cafe which sold the best hot chocolate you'd ever tasted.... i'm still looking :-D

KSK November 21st, 2008 a 09:12 pm

I *love* skiing, so anywhere with lots of snow (and lifts) would be perfect! Have been to a few places in the Alps but never skied Mont Blanc, but I'm sure I will one day..

tailorsdummy November 21st, 2008 a 08:57 pm

Some things you need to experience before you're too old and Chamonix with one of the world's largest ski runs looks just the ticket.

tereza2000 November 21st, 2008 a 08:33 pm

Would have to go to Tremblant is Eastern Canadaâs best known resort and has been since 1938.

Great way to start to see Canada and learn to ski.
Would love to win this greta prize

alison91 November 21st, 2008 a 08:30 pm

Think I'm another vote for Whistler. Have been there in summer but would love to ski it when there's loads of good snow. Love Canada!

at53725 November 21st, 2008 a 08:29 pm

Wow - what an amazing prize. A week without the kids sounds great where-ever but our dream ski resort is Breckenridge closely followed by Arc1950 (USA luxury but closer to home).

hothostie November 21st, 2008 a 08:25 pm

looking forward to a holiday...
sun, snow, skiing and ...!
show me a place with a hot tub to sooth my weary muscles after amazing skiing. bring on feb, cause i'm off!

Ideal package: A week in Whistler at the Four Seasons!

lm0503 November 21st, 2008 a 07:54 pm

Verbier, Switzerland... it looks beautiful

Vicious77 November 21st, 2008 a 07:46 pm

Would be amzing to fly into Canada and sample the delights of the Mont Tremblant package.
Rated 5/5 for value and a beginner rating for sking would come in handy as i might not break my legs in the first day!

Viva la Mont Tremblant!.

dodger747 November 21st, 2008 a 07:43 pm

My dream package would be in Sestrier, Italy [staying in the Cristallo]...

Although an expenses paid trip to Chamonix wouldn't be bad ;-)

claireyoung01 November 21st, 2008 a 07:35 pm

Love to go to Vancouver and go discovering with my hubby and without the kids.

ebonheart November 21st, 2008 a 07:33 pm

Tough choice, all the ski resorts look amazing, but I would choose Lake Louise in Canada staying at the Deer Lodge Hotel. Lake Louise sounds the perfect place to introduce a complete novice to the ups and downs of skiing.

indelacio November 21st, 2008 a 07:27 pm

I know it sounds corny but the package on offer pretty much sums it up... or the rockies or the alps... but snowboard hire instead of ski's definately... heck if its a dream prize snowboard to keep ;-P

But yeah snow holiday with a fantastic view, nice crisp air, fresh snow on the mountains, throw in a nice meal and breakfast, with the right person, and for one of the days you dont have mountain access, perhaps a romantic strole, a day out to the local town, or relax in the spa to warm up after a few days on the mountains.

jof November 21st, 2008 a 07:11 pm

It's got to Lake Louise in canada for me. We've always wanted to go canada with the lakes and mountains, crisp clear air and fantastic skiiing to boot! My wife says the mounties will probably be pretty impressive too. It's the place that dreams are meant to be about.

bigguy201 November 21st, 2008 a 07:03 pm

Canada - Whistler BEAUTIFUL!

lukeskinner November 21st, 2008 a 07:01 pm

I like the look of their packages to Meribel, but would happily settle for Chamonix!

johnge November 21st, 2008 a 06:58 pm

Grandes Rousses takes my fancy

igvod1886 November 21st, 2008 a 06:39 pm

Without a doubt i would love to go back to Whistler, and preferably for 10 days or more as then you can do a weeks skiing but also take time out to snowmobile and all the other cool stuff, as well as take a break in Vancouver for Granville island Brewing co and market!

Giftednewt November 21st, 2008 a 06:30 pm

I've always wanted to go to whistler. It's a life long dream of mine to board there. The snow in Canada is supposed to be amazing. Prices look pretty reasonable too even though it's such a popular resort

bettybuttons November 21st, 2008 a 06:20 pm

Deer Lodge in Lake Louise Canada sounds fantastic - the rooftop hottub and sleigh rides around the lake - want to go right now!

carnock7 November 21st, 2008 a 06:05 pm

My wife and I have never been skiing before and would really like to try it. As newbies I have followed Alfie's advice and think Kaprun in Austria would be great. A modern and high tech ski resort (or so it says on the site) it sounds ideal for beginners as well as more experienced skiers.
Having said all that we would love to go anywhere.

Mightymoosie November 21st, 2008 a 06:03 pm

Wow! Just looked at Whistler in British Columbia (my absolute dream ticket) - would love to learn to ski (I've never tried it), but there seems so much more there too - shopping :-) and restaurants :-) Yes please! :-)

daverossjnr November 21st, 2008 a 06:00 pm

Banff would be wonderful , especially if it was in a few weeks to guarantee a white christmas !

uczmeg November 21st, 2008 a 06:00 pm

Squeaky snow, blue skis and long ski runs. Doesn't matter where it is!

bickster73 November 21st, 2008 a 05:55 pm

Wow. What fantastic prices. I love Skiing and would love to experience the delights of Whistler. Alpha Rooms has opened my eyes to the affordability of such a holiday and having booked the last 2 holidays through them, I might soon be going for number THREE very soon. Well Done Alpha Rooms Very competitive. Merry Xmas one and all!

larsltd November 21st, 2008 a 05:24 pm

My dream ski trip would be to Banff in Canada. I have been to Europe several times and really fancy Canada. The Snow is meant to be amazing. Would love this prize for a trip for two skiing as we are skint and won't be going anywhere this year :-(

blueaston November 21st, 2008 a 04:50 pm

I've never been skiing and would absolutely love to go and learn, and I've always wanted to see Switzerland so the Verbier package would be my dream ticket!

VeVerbier, Switzerland Looks good to me.

rickylester November 21st, 2008 a 04:37 pm

My dream destination would have to Whistler, theyâve got the 2010 winter olympics there, so that facilities are being updated and enhanced.Would have to be Tremblant is Eastern Canadaâs best known resort and has been since 1938. The first resort to open in Canada and the second in North America, it is located in the picturesque scenery of the Laurentian Mountains, an easy drive from Montreal. On top of this, Iâve never been to North America, so it would truly be a dream come true!

lewistaylor66 November 21st, 2008 a 04:25 pm

Its got to be Whistler all the way, but would settle for Chamonix if it was free! ;op

kill4it November 21st, 2008 a 04:22 pm

Banff in Canada would be ace

Fritzeh November 21st, 2008 a 04:21 pm

timhurn November 21st, 2008 a 03:58 pm

Any of the three hotels in Whistler would be great.

mabbutts November 21st, 2008 a 03:56 pm

poppyflower28 November 21st, 2008 a 03:40 pm

bristolbunnygirl November 21st, 2008 a 03:38 pm

I would love to go to any of them, neither me or my partner have even been skiiing and would really like to go! Les Deux Alpes looks good! Would be fantastic!

nigevlv November 21st, 2008 a 03:21 pm

FFarrell11 November 21st, 2008 a 02:04 pm

None of the family have ever been skiing and it would be great to have a child friendly resort that is not too far away and has lots of off piste activity too. The advice on the site is really helpful and Alpe D'Huez looks ideal :-)

freedavem November 21st, 2008 a 01:08 pm

Swiss Village, Banff, Canada!

Johns November 21st, 2008 a 01:04 pm

Dream package for me would be skiing in St Moritz, Switzerland staying at the 'Chesa Munt Sulal' over new year.

I learnt to ski in St Moritz on a school trip 13 years years ago, remember it being a lovely resort where you could ski off-pists among the trees. Would be great to go back and stay in a luxury apartment.

smcceh6 November 21st, 2008 a 12:56 pm

I would love to shoot off to Lake Loise I have seen it in the summer and it is simply beautiful in the winter it must be awh inspiring. I have never skied in large powder fields and I think this is were to do it.

kateherd November 21st, 2008 a 12:02 pm

Oooo would have to be Banff in Canada from the pictures...looks absolutely beautiful (and cheaper than I thought too from the website!) Would have to use the money I'd saved to buy some thermal underwear for the trip!

bluehalf November 21st, 2008 a 11:54 am

I've changed my mind, Whistler! Whistler Whistler!

Those naked female canadian mounties on horse back covered in snow.

Oh, sorry, wrong competition.

Thats a fantastic prize. Well done Quidco!

Dream skiing holiday would have to be a week (or two) in Whistler and staying in the Hilton Whistler village resort flying from Scotland.

We were there last autumn and there was huge amount of construction going on to improve the access roads and mountain facilities. Must be amazing when its covered in snow :)

crocodileteeth November 21st, 2008 a 11:41 am

Anywhere in Canada sounds great, but then I'm swaying towards italy. Actually anywhere would be great. (didn't know alpha rooms did skiing.)

chriswylie1977 November 21st, 2008 a 11:36 am

Whistler for me! My mate's been snowboarding there and gave a glowing recommendation!

bluehalf November 21st, 2008 a 11:36 am

My Dream Package would be nice short flight to Geneva, quickly drive to chamonix (whislt obeying the local traffic laws of course). Get on the slopes ASAP. Get some extreme falling over done chamonix, a few slaps of the local french women(what you mean, it's too cold to take my shirt off). After a few days skiing Chamonix and getting to know the local police, load the car up, short trip over the boarder, swerve a few maniac italian drivers and duck into Courmayeur resort (which is supposed to be a smashing ski and the women are supposed to be a bit eas - forget that). Spend the day in Courmayeur, eat italian (love italian food, Pizza, spag bol, all that garlic stuff). Come back to france. Relax, in my luxuryChalet, in a nice hot Sauna, with naked swedish beauti(I don't think I'm gonna win this)es.

I love skiing (well snowboarding, I switched - traitor). waking up, waking everbody else up, Looking outside, fresh snow. Honestly, as a grown adult, that's the best thing since father Christmas came down my chimney and left me loads of toys.

I'm not going skiing this year - I am gutted. Father Christmas doesn't exist either!

Thanks for listening

neslihancukur November 21st, 2008 a 11:35 am

definitely barcelona as I have a little one with me. so not much hope going on skiing. only cities will do.

Jiffy November 21st, 2008 a 11:30 am

Mont Tremblant with it's 48% easy terrain would suit me nicely, preferably combined with a stay at the 5* Fairmont Tremblant. :-)

srr24 November 21st, 2008 a 11:30 am

Banff in Canada for me - Just in case skiing turned out not to be for me there are still lots of other things to entertain me whilst BF hits the slopes.

ratty1230 November 21st, 2008 a 11:28 am

My dream trip would be back to Banff where we had one of the best holiday of our life

rhett November 21st, 2008 a 11:24 am

i think Richemond, Mercure Chamonix Les Bossons or Lachenal in Chamonix would be all fantastic to stay at, especially over Christmas, can you imagine how beautiful it would be for a Christmas holiday away for just 2, no family or relatives to cater for....I think it would be a dream to stand on a mountain 3000ft up on Christmas day and well, imagine the scenery...

Chompsky November 21st, 2008 a 11:17 am

I'd go for the Silver Star resort because, really, how often do you get to go skiiing from a 19th century British Colombian mining town-themed village?

bluehalf November 21st, 2008 a 11:07 am

Cont:
Hey Alpha Rooms,

that's after a days skiing as well!

XX

Warno November 21st, 2008 a 11:05 am

Has to be one of the Canadian resorts for me. Remote, beautiful surroundings, great facilities, miles of runs and hopefully a hot tub.
Dream package has to be good flights (Sunday connection), quick transfer, a catered chalet (with good chalet team), week's ski pass, ski hire, and access to a hot tub and good apres ski. Then it's job done for me.

bluehalf November 21st, 2008 a 11:04 am

Dear Alpha Rooms & Quidco,

please let me win this prize.

Skiing is the ultimate holiday for me (except maybe a week in company of Hugh playboy whatever his name is).

Pleae alpha rooms, i'll come round your house and lick in between your toes if I won this prize!

Smiley face(how do you do that - there's not smiley face key on my keyboard).

drewkent November 21st, 2008 a 09:35 am

Looking at the packages on Alpharooms, Whistler in Canada looks absolutely beautiful, so I think this would be my dream holiday! We went skiing to Arinsal in Andorra for the first time last year as a group of 6, so much fun, but completely exhausting! Now we have the basics down, it would be nice to give it another go, trying out a different resort....

cstaerck November 21st, 2008 a 07:48 am

For me it would have to be Kirchberg, excellent skiing with a modest yet happening atmosphere. Staying at the Kroneck and admiring the vast Wilden Kaiser.

It so needs to be Banff. Was there last summer as part of a touring holiday...it must be so picturesque in the snow!

gkbeckmann November 20th, 2008 a 04:41 pm

Mont Tremblant for me. Never been to Canada and what a wonderful surprise it would be for the special person with me!

ls5302 November 20th, 2008 a 04:41 pm

My dream holiday would be the prize - Ski holiday for 2 in Chamonix!

simon31leeds November 20th, 2008 a 04:39 pm

Friends have been to Pas De La Casa in Andorra before and said that the ski-ing is good and the apres-ski is even better so I'd favour that. Although, that having been said, Chamonix is beautiful too - only ever been in Summer before so it'd be great to go in winter for a change!

Bifflexia November 20th, 2008 a 04:39 pm

Lake Louise in Canada for me, never been out of Europe to ski.

ziana November 20th, 2008 a 04:36 pm

Amazinggggg prize! Would love to go to Whistler, BC in Canada...

Szetela November 20th, 2008 a 04:34 pm

Cross country skiing anybody? Schladming is a great place to try. I would love to go there again...

hpka November 20th, 2008 a 04:32 pm

Gotta be Meribel next for me - I did a season in Whistler and it was fantastic - but being a varied person I better do somewhere new!

MrSoft November 20th, 2008 a 04:31 pm

Definitely Whistler - went there when visiting relatives in Vancouver a couple of years ago (without my board and out of season) and it looked like it would be a great place to go snowboarding!

katinthehat November 20th, 2008 a 04:29 pm

Whistler Canada - would need to have plenty apres ski as I'm hopeless at actual skiing!

November 20th, 2008 a 04:29 pm

Having gone to Lapland last year for the first time ever!!!! And loving it (bear in mind im 30 now and still a big kid) id love to go back there but do something different, like ski.

I wouldnt mind going to chamonix tho - just thought id point that out lol :p

chentong November 20th, 2008 a 04:27 pm

My dream holiday is Ski holiday for 2 in Chamonix

deadleg21 November 20th, 2008 a 04:26 pm

Bexbox1 November 20th, 2008 a 04:25 pm

Its got to be Whistler for me although I've never been skiing before. Love to though it looks awesome! :)

Nobster November 20th, 2008 a 04:25 pm

I would love to go to Rome for a long romantic weekend with my husband, and stay in one of the beautiful hotels like the Artemide Hotel. I'd do some shopping (which my husband says I'm very good at) then some sightseeing and to round off the night a fantastic meal with champagne. I don't think I'd want to return home!

lostfrog November 20th, 2008 a 04:22 pm

Austria for me..ok any of em hehe

donepudi November 20th, 2008 a 04:19 pm

Although Whistler looks great, wouldn't travel around the globe just to ski.

I would prefer Chamonix with lots of travel options from London and is the serious contender for 'World's Most Famous Ski Resort' :D

gallear November 20th, 2008 a 04:18 pm

I have never been skiing before, so Mont Tremblant with its beginners slopes would be the one for me!

idutton November 20th, 2008 a 04:15 pm

Delta Whistler Village Suites look nice, not to far to go for Whistler and Blackcomb.

Discogod November 20th, 2008 a 04:13 pm

My dream is most definitely a safari in Africa!!

normanchesterton November 20th, 2008 a 04:13 pm

A great prize which I would like to give to a certain person for past assistance.

Bumface November 20th, 2008 a 04:08 pm

It would have to be Canada - it looks quality.

DavidVTR November 20th, 2008 a 04:08 pm

Wow, Soll looks amazing. Really traditional yet fairly modern.

jonade November 20th, 2008 a 04:07 pm

A weeks skiing in Bad Gastein, Austria would be my pick.

laurenzo99 November 20th, 2008 a 04:06 pm

Mine would be the "Les Menuires, France", as it looks so beautiful- and the flight time is nowhere near as logn as many other ski destinations

paulcrouch November 20th, 2008 a 04:05 pm

Our 1st & last ever ski lesson was at the very top of the Zugspitze ( highest mountain in Germany ). Complete disaster! After 20 years we need to see what we've been missing.

eps November 20th, 2008 a 04:05 pm

My dream destination would have to Whistler, they've got the 2010 winter olympics there, so that facilities are being updated and enhanced. On top of this, I've never been to North America, so it would truly be a dream come true!

kaha22 November 20th, 2008 a 04:04 pm

Whistler, Canada looks amazing so thats got to be the choice for me :)

tobybalcombe November 20th, 2008 a 04:02 pm

a week in chamonix please! that's my ideal package definately

skippity November 20th, 2008 a 04:00 pm

Whistler in Canada looks lovely - though as I've only been skiing once (years ago in Glen Shee), anything above "beginner" would be wasted. But to learn to ski in Canada... wow!

macaroni November 20th, 2008 a 04:00 pm

Whistler, Canada for me too

mteen24 November 20th, 2008 a 03:59 pm

I've always fancied Whistler in Canada, the Residence Inn by Marriott Whistler looks rather nice, and so close to the slopes.

Fingers crossed for the amazing prize....

kingchris November 20th, 2008 a 03:58 pm

Les Menuires, France for me please. (I'm cheap!)

dtether November 20th, 2008 a 03:57 pm

Think I'd want to try one of those "Whistler Ski Holidays".

unsaltedrhino November 20th, 2008 a 03:57 pm

Whistler for me!

Royall November 20th, 2008 a 03:56 pm

It's got to be Banff for me !

a97am November 20th, 2008 a 03:56 pm

Canada - Whistler looks amazing to me... that's where I'd wanna go!

theadz01 November 20th, 2008 a 03:53 pm

Being a beginning (a total beginning) and a lover of Italy, I would choose the package in Isola 2000. However, I would love the prize on offer just as much!

Big_Anth November 20th, 2008 a 03:53 pm

id love to ski, never did it before but always wanted too, iv heard Whistler in Canada is pretty awesome

derrickfellows November 20th, 2008 a 03:51 pm

Anything high and wide with lots of snow and off-piste (in March!). I prefer the Three Valleys, then La Plagne and then Tignes - but Chamonix would do!

ami1975 November 20th, 2008 a 03:50 pm

I'd love the Whistler Canada one :)

adrian2000 November 20th, 2008 a 03:49 pm

Would have to be Tremblant is Eastern Canada's best known resort and has been since 1938. The first resort to open in Canada and the second in North America, it is located in the picturesque scenery of the Laurentian Mountains, an easy drive from Montreal.

Great way to start to see Canada

Rhionm November 20th, 2008 a 03:49 pm

Would love to go to Whistler in Canada, looks fantastic!

edz November 20th, 2008 a 03:49 pm

Hong Kong for me

chuichi November 20th, 2008 a 03:48 pm

My dream holiday would be the prize - Ski holiday for 2 in Chamonix!

Jamjaw November 20th, 2008 a 03:48 pm

I love Banff, was there last year, although Sunshine and LAke Louise are better. Anyway, for me it has to be a nice trip to the Horse... Kicking Horse!

coollittlew November 20th, 2008 a 03:47 pm

My dream holiday would probably be the one up for grabs! I love skiing, I just don't get the chance to go that much. Cause it comes with ski lessons my partner could learn and I could go on ski holidays more often!

maemaesmummy November 20th, 2008 a 03:41 pm

Mine would be Banff Mount Norquay would love to go somewhere with crisp white snow not the black mush we get here where I live....

mutsnuts November 20th, 2008 a 03:39 pm

Wow an excellent prize and if i win its 7 days away without the kids hehe
