Well it would have to be between the following:
Pure Evoke DAB radio £99 - as ours has died a death.
Candy CCF5149S fridge freezer in silver £449 - ours moos like a cow and has done ever since we moved house, don't think it enjoyed the journey very much - it's very annoying!
Richmond large sofa £799 (obviously we'd have to supplement the cost). I spilt nail varnish remover on ours yesterday and it's ruined.... arrgghh!
Anyway, I'd have to argue the toss with my husband - though it's one argument I won't mind having!

Our Tv is broken so I'd have to consider getting the well priced Murphy "TV32RN20D" 32ins HD-ready Freeview LCD TV at the current offer price of £349.99, and having recently had my phone stolen this would leave me with just enough change to consider the Nokia "7610 Supernova" mobile phone at the offer price of £139.99.

Alternativel I might be tempted to splurge and pay the difference to bag the uber nifty Nokia
"N96" sim free mobile phone for £599... decisions, decisions!

ariminta February 26th, 2009 a 06:39 am

DKM1000 February 26th, 2009 a 03:12 am

Seen the bedroom furniture and as my wife keeps on at me to get a new wardrobe and drawers, that's where the £500 would go.....I'd be in her good books for ages !!!!!

I'd put it towards a funky Apple Mac laptop.

IanMed February 25th, 2009 a 01:34 pm

I'm in dire need of a new dishwasher. I bought a cheap one two years ago and it's been nothing but trouble(flooding my kitchen on several occasions) & now it's packed up completely. I had all my family over for lunch at the weekend and it took a whole day to clean all the saucepans, dishes, plates and glasses afterwards....crikey!!

I'd use the £500 to buy the Littlewoods BOSCH SMS50E02GB Black 5 programme dishwasher...it looks fab & the brand is reliable. That's just what I'm looking for.

justindyson February 25th, 2009 a 12:36 pm

lukeyevans February 25th, 2009 a 12:03 pm

A new laptop for my wife, or stuff for my son, but nothing for me!

mimic1166 February 25th, 2009 a 11:58 am

I would go for either a flat screen TV, camera or a new laptop. It all depends which of my current ones dies first.

shaksta February 25th, 2009 a 11:57 am

Please let it be me.

Sazzle69 February 25th, 2009 a 11:47 am

miwinter February 25th, 2009 a 11:00 am

Three pairs of McCord "Sicily" Italian leather chairs - catalogue number TM9951S

...currently £186.15 a pair with £32.85 off. We bought a dining table and chairs for our new home... the oak table came but the chairs never did, so we can't use it until we get some nice modern chairs to fit the same style. These give a close match to what we were *SUPPOSED* to be having delivered, so I'd go with the chocolate/oak colour combination (leather/wood respectively), as this would be the perfect substitute. Maybe then we can finally invite some friends to dinner for a house warming!

Cheers,

Marko

beagmhor February 25th, 2009 a 10:19 am

Well I've just moved in to a rented flat which is furnished but has no TV so I've had to buy a great big huge bulky second hand monster as its all I could afford ..... so I'd definitely buy myself this ... Sony "KDL32V4000U" 32ins HD-ready Freeview LCD TV £499.00. Would be £500.00 well spent I think :)

bullitt February 25th, 2009 a 10:10 am

I'd spend the lot on a new bedroom suite for my daughter Inara. The Alice collection furniture matches her matte white crib. She might be a bit young to fill up those wardrobes just yet but theres always room for future proofing.

racheljones63 February 25th, 2009 a 10:08 am

I'd use the money towards buying a Samsung frost free food centre and would pay the difference as it's £899! I never seem to have enough room in my current fridge freezer :-)

carmsdown February 25th, 2009 a 10:05 am

I live in a house full of boys so I have to buy any presents to myself 'on behalf of _______' which would seem great if the budget for doing so wasnt zero! In order to keep my sanity I would buy (for myself on behalf of the family!)

Hoover "HOD6615B" 15 Place Dishwasher In Black - because its about time I hang up the washing gloves. Besides this one is so sleek, it looks like its been designed just for me!!

&

I guess the rest would go towards a fridge (because I am sick of scrapping out buckets of ice each day - yes from the FRIDGE not freezer). And if that is not happening then I will make do with lots of chocolate compensation and relaxation smelly things to put into 5 min bath.

munki72 February 25th, 2009 a 10:00 am

I would buy the Samsung NC10 Netbook so I could keep shopping through Quidco whilst on the move.

andrewd1 February 25th, 2009 a 08:59 am

...so that I can get a decent night's sleep!

carnock7 February 25th, 2009 a 07:42 am

£500 would be a great prize and here is my shopping list;

A Nintendo lite white as my wife has always wanted one -also keeps her out of the way £119
Playstation game Little Big Planet - same reason as Nintendo but for the kids £34
A Samsung BD P1500 Blu Ray player just got an HD telly £169

For my daughter: Dora the explorer bed + Dora cabinet + Dora wall unit + Dova duvet cover and Dora curtain and for my son: In the night garden bed + cabinet + 3 tier storage + duvet cover + curtains (all in the range of Night Garden). And finally considering I can get £10 off I may buy AWT BBQ for all of us to celebrate our first private garden and home. I'd buy myself a Wii with all the trimmings inc 4 controllers, Wii wheels, Wii Fit and lots of accessories!

dsassoon February 24th, 2009 a 07:21 pm

I would finally update our old tubed television for a shiny new LCD flat screen. Too much choice, but maybe the Panasonic "TH37PX8B" 37ins HD-ready Freeview Plasma TV. £499, with the £1 change going to the kids to buy a few packs of Match Atacks football cards ...

A BABY SLEEPER, for my cars back seat
Just had a little baby, light on her feet
A young fighter screaming with no time for doubt
With the pain and anger, cant see a way out
It aint much Im asking I heard her say
Gotta find me a STROLLER, move out of my way
I want it all I want it all I want it all and I want it now
I want it all I want it all I want it all and I want it now

Listen all you people come gather round
I gotta get her a RATTLE, gotta shake it to the ground
Just give her, all the things I cant
People do you hear me, like a CUDDLY ELEPHANT
It aint much Im asking, just a COMFY COT
Heres to her future, hope shes all Im not
I want it all (give it all) I want it all I want it all and I want
It now
I want it all (yes I want it all) I want it all (hey)
I want it all and I want it now

Im a man whose wallets bare
Cant afford much, but I still care
Not a man for compromise and wheres and whys and living
Lies
So Im living it all
And Im giving it all

Yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
I want it all all all all

It aint much Im asking if you want the truth
Heres to 10% QUIDCO !
Hear the cry of RUTH ! (hear the cry hear the cry of Ruth)
I want it all, I want it all, I want it all, and I want it now

And I want it now

I want it
Now
I want it I want it

tiggywinks February 24th, 2009 a 03:22 pm

I currently have a bathroom that's just plaster walls at the moment and would love to get the storage organised ready for when my husband gets round to fixing it up! I'd spend the money on a selection of those lovely stainless steel bathroom cabinets - 3 of the tall mirrored ones and as many of the round mirrored ones as I could fit around the walls. Should be enough to hide away even all my bathroom bits!

emucalfskin February 24th, 2009 a 02:58 pm

A brand new big girl's bed for my two year old daughter's box room and some over bed storage for her parent's box room!

littlel February 24th, 2009 a 02:58 pm

I am currently buying a new house with a loft conversion. Our current bedroom furniture is too big, so I need to get a whole new set. I really like the look of the Town House 'Denver' collection, so I would go for 2 of the 2-door wardrobes, a 4 +4 drawer chest, and the matching single bedstead, giving a total of £414. That would leave enough to get a Natural sheepskin rug at £36.80 and a piece of New York icon art at £40.00 for the wall. Perfect!

R10MHD February 24th, 2009 a 02:32 pm

so much choice so many great things i can buy

My wife and I have just received our approval to adopt 2 children. We would spend the £500 on 2 of the kids beds, we don't know what sex the children will be yet so cannot specify car style or fairy castle style! So that is £190 taken care of.

We also need a fridge freezer and so would go for the Beko at £229.

Finally I would go for the £80 family portrait so we could always look back and see a professionally taken portrait of our new family.

That makes £499 :)

princesskerry February 23rd, 2009 a 10:53 am

I would like to buy this Kidspace car bed with trundle bed from £199.00 for my two year old as it's low to the floor so would prevent any accidents and would give us an extra bed for when he is a little older and wants friends to stay. With the rest of the money I would buy a JVC "GZ-MG330H" HDD camcorder in silver for £229.00, it has already been reduced by £100 so a bigger bonus.
I have two boys 2 and 1 years old and me and my wife are both saying we should take more pictures of them as we dont want to ever look back and regret not doing it and they are changing daily and wont be our babies for much longer, a camcorder would be our ultimate gift to capture all those moments.

jaredashe February 23rd, 2009 a 10:49 am

I'd love to get a Wii Fit - save on the gym membership! Apart from that, maybe a nice new sofa - ours has cat scratches all over the leather!

princesskerry February 23rd, 2009 a 10:44 am

I would buy this Beko "AB910" frost-free food centre in silver £579.00 , it's something we have always wanted but never had the money to buy and our fridge is on it's last legs so the perfect time and with our family expanding our fridge seems to be constantly filled to the max mainly with milk so it would be a true luxury to open a fridge door and have some space to see everything.

simon31leeds February 23rd, 2009 a 10:44 am

The Sony "DSLR twin lens" 10.2m pixel digital SLR camera at £469 is the one for me - or my dad rather - it's his 65th Birthday in March and he'd absolutely love it.

McAdie February 23rd, 2009 a 10:04 am

Clothes, clothes, clothes! I've just had a new baby and need a new wardrobe to replace those huge maternity clothes. I'd start with the lovely red 'South' double cloth coat.

latecomer February 23rd, 2009 a 10:00 am

I'd have to go for a load of goodies for our new kitchen including a Kenwood "KM010005" 1400 watt mixer and a Kenwood "FP920" multi pro food processor which would come to just over £500 (what a coincidence!)

Smurfs88 February 23rd, 2009 a 09:58 am

I'd buy a Laptop - the Toshiba Intel Core 2 Duo! It'll be a fantastic improvement on my current laptop and there'd be a pound left to put towards some extended memory.

n1ckw1ld February 23rd, 2009 a 09:50 am

Philips "MC1500H" 160Gb HDD wireless micro system -£499.00

To be different than everyone else, I would probably use the voucher towards a new HD Television.

The "Sony "KDL40V4000" 40ins full HD Freeview LCD TV" seems about right if in stock, otherwise I might be tempted by an alternate Sony model.

I would normally not treat myself to such luxury, but you only live once.

If however you do live 'twice' as the re-incarnationists believe, I will still be able to watch the James Bond film in my second life as we all know the TV will still be going strong as Sony's are built to last.

A massive tv for £500 :)

johncrowther February 21st, 2009 a 05:09 pm

Not being one to spend huge amounts on electricals, I would throw £289 at a 32GB IPod touch (I've always considered them to be overpriced for what they are, and ideally Id like something with 64GB, but hey - this would be a freebie right?). Id' supplement that with the 4 year extended service plan for £72 - again something I wouldn't normally go for, but I'd want to protect the investment.

I'd then use the rest on get a PAYG mobile for my missus - probably something like the Nokia 7610 Supernova for £139 - as long as she's prepared to jump networks.
That would spend the £500 exactly - on things we don't *need* and wouldn't normally buy, but that we secretly covet.

Failing all that, I'd put the whole £500 towards wedding things - it's about time I made an honest women out of her and this would be a good kick-start. I'm sure the memories would last longer also :-)

igvod1886 February 21st, 2009 a 05:00 pm

Ones that coaught my eye are "Henleys "Steak" parallel leg jeans: for £59 and the Lee Cooper "LC118" regular-fit lower rise jeans for £25.
I also like the Superdry stormbreaker jacket for £45.
I would also love one of the Tom Tom "GO LIVE 540" UK and Republic of Ireland satellite navigation for the car (£299)

when we went on holiday our camcorder broke so I found: JVC "G2-MG33OH" HDD Camcorder in Silver £229.

Also our son has co-ordination problems so a Wii Fit with Wii Balance Board £74 would be great to build his core stability and be enough fun for him not to get bored.

Something the whole family could use would be a V-Fit "Hurricane" air Elliptical £179 and the last item would have to be a Dr Who Beanbag £17.00 so after being tired from the Wii Fit my son could have a seat on his favourite character.

Total: £499 with £1 left for a charity box
