I looked for the first film I bought and it wasn't there - but I found the music of Philip Glass and found the soundtrack to the film called 'KOYAANISQATSI' a word in hopi language which means 'world out of balance' and that was the name of the film, I think it was directed by Coppola and music by Philip Glass - fantastic film - just music and images, no dialogue - my favourite film of all time; i lost the album unfortunately but still have the film on vhs. I would like to buy Slumdog Millionaire or any film with Philip Glass soundtrack.

My first VHS was Flight of the Navigator (and yes I still watch it occasionally).
Thinking of buying Slumdog Millionaire as shamefully I haven't seen it yet.

First: Fantasia (VHS)
Next: Watchmen Bluray

1st was the goonies my next one i buy will be he Curious Case of Benjamin Button

My first was Grease and I would like Davina's new workout video, should have kept up those grease moves and I wouldn't need it!

I bought Bambi (even had the vinyl LP as a kid) My next one will probably be Slumdog even though I've seen it.

The first Film I bought was Die Hard on VHS, the next movie I'm looking forward to buying is Watchmen on Blu-ray.

My first on DVD was Gladiator, my next will be Seven Pounds! Will Smith is one of the greatest actors at the moment!

On a different note, Short Circuit 2 is nothing to be ashamed off, a great film!
