Job Purpose:
Produce design solutions based on business requirements with high visual impact
Duties:
- Brainstorming and mocking up design ideas.
- Presenting ideas to management.
- Production of graphics as required.
- Interpret business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose.
- Estimating the time required to complete the work.
- Working with others to complete the final product.
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Keep up to date on current design techniques and equipment.
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommend changes in policies and procedures.
- Accomplish allocated assignments and organisation mission by completing tasks as required.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Excellent artistic sensibility
- Excellent technical skills with Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks
- Good understanding of web site and digital design
- Understanding of HTML, CSS and W3C Standards
- Experience in an agile development environment
- Understanding of Software development lifecycle
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Eye for detail
Education:
- Educated to degree level
