It was announced this morning that the London 2012 Olympic torch will travel to 1,018 different locations during its 70-day relay around Great Britain, with famous settings such as Snowdon, Stonehenge and Newcastle’s Tyne Bridge all set for a visit from the ceremonial flame.

Flown from Olympia in Greece, the torch will start its journey in Land’s End on May 19th before winding through every regional authority in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, as well as all 83 counties in England.

It will then spend the final week of its tour in London, making the journey to the Olympic Stadium from Hampton Court Palace on July 27th – the day of the much-anticipated opening ceremony.

To commemorate the arrival of the Games on our shores in 263 days, Links of London have taken on the responsibility of creating a tasteful collection of officially endorsed jewellery paying homage to the Olympic spirit.

For the gents, there’s a range of branded cufflinks, rings, pens and key rings, while for the ladies there is an extensive selection of earrings and necklaces.

Quidblog particularly likes the silver charms and beads which playfully echo Olympic sports and can be added to Links’ trademark bracelets.

You can get cashback on a host of official Olympic partners including Links of London, BT, adidas, EDF and Lloyds TSB when you make a purchase through Quidco. To learn more, click here.
