I too have placed an order with Buy a Gift and it was declined... cannot even put a dispute in, as it will not accept my voucher code for reference. Its not very fair you buy through quidco and then the supplier declines your payment.

Bought two items from BuyaGift within the space of 2 days. Both items purchased on different computers and all rules followed. Therefore extremely surprised to see that both cashback claims are declined. Read up previous reviews and notice that this seems to be a regular occurrence with this retailer. Quidco, you need to sort this out - this is not a very good buying experience. All terms and conditions have been met but you are left feeling that it is your fault that your claim has been declined. Current claims raised and awaiting final decision.

I ordered twice from this retailer. The items were despatched quickly and on the second order my cashback was paid the next day. The first order was a bigger order and at first my cashback was declined. I put in a claim and Quidco sorted it out for me, it took a while but have just received my cashback. So overall happy.

Bought a product with a code that was on quidco. 2 days later they declined my cashback. Everything was done online so I'm not sure about their faster paying symbol when they've declined mine. Have sent a claim through quidco to try and get it but a lot of messing when I've never had a problem with any of the other gift companies!

cashback declined for no apparent reason. Their communication is poor, so it is difficult to engage with a retailer who isn't saying much. Also difficult to give a positive review when the experience with Buyagift was negative and unresolved.

As other people said before me, cashback declined for no reason. I don't use other cash back sites and have never visited buyagift.com before, so they cannot use this as an excused. I put a claim on 01/02 and still no answer. They did allow me to use multiple discounts (a £5 off in conjunction with cashback through Quidco and a £1 discount for liking they on facebook).

Everytime I have gone through Quidco to buy from Buy-A-Gift they have declined the cashback and my subsequent claim. Each time they have sent out a standard reply to state why this has happened but when you review this you have actually complied with all the conditions they state are required! Quidco you need to get this sorted or remove the supplier!

Can't complain - purchased product on a Saturday and cashback confirmed on the Monday. Great rate too at 10%. Second time used and shall use again without hesitation.

I bought a spa day for two at a great price, with an excellent rate of cashback offered. The website itself is excellent and the transaction went smoothly, with the beautifully packaged voucher arriving very quickly.
For no known reason, buyagift declined my cashback, so I'm currently having to claim. Who knows if and when I'll receive my cashback? So annoying and unnecessary. The same thing has happened to my brother who bought the same deal.
Hopefully we will get the promised cashback, but if not, Buyagift will have lost 2 customers...

Having read the previous reviews I was wary to order from this site, but they had an experience that I wanted to buy for my sons, so I went ahead. I very carefully cleared all cookies etc before commencing the purchase and complied with all other t's and c's. On the day of my purchase 21st November they were offering 10% off all sales and 15% cashback. Within hours of my purchase I was pleased to see that the sum of £23.14 Cashback was tracked. Just 4 days later though it was showing as declined in my account.
I have raised a claim, we will see!
Website was easy to use, the packaging of the gifts was good and they were delivered next day, shame I feel let down by the declined Cashback.

I bought a gift to take advantage of their advertised cashback offer on the basis that the cashbook would mean the cost of the gift was within my budget. I checked carefully on the t & c's that the product was eligible for cashback as it was quite expensive, and entered the correct code and checked it all. The cashback was declined so I raised a claim. I then got the response that the cashback was not eligible. Not impressed and won't ever use this company again, very disappointing.

I also didn't receive cashback from buyagift, why are they allowed to advertise here when they clearly do not fulfill there promise. I put in a claim and it was declined for reasons I don't know. Will not be buying from these cowboys again.

This retailer took 12 months to credit the cashback. Firsly they held the payment as 'pending' and then asked me to resubmit all of the purchase details only for the process to begin all over again. I will never use them again.

they always turn down my cashback claim for some reason.. 3 times now, and ive never been paid any of them to date. Seems too much hassle to constantly keep emailing the team to sort this but it really needs addressing. Also watch out for some of the companies they use for the race days, I ve had two and the one at Sixth Gear was a hard sell to get you to buy the insurance that effectively cost £25 per person extra. Its total lies that you arent covered on their insurance to encourage you to pay more. It spoilt my daughters day,and after complaining neither company addressed my letter and email.
