Took out policy in September 2012, cash back was due in March. Tracked in March and payment apparently due by 25th April, checked again today and it has now moved out to 25th March as has still not been confirmed by provider.
Seems to me like they use the cash back incentive to capture you, but with no intention of paying out.
I don't keep fobbing them off saying I'll pay my premium next month, then the next month - they wouldn't find it acceptable, so why is it ok for them to con us in this fashion!?

when the policy was taken out on the 1st of November 2012 cashback payment was a maximum of six months. Now surprise surprise they estimated payment date keeps getting put further and further back. will not be making a purchase from confused.com again. it is not worth the hassle or the wait. should have gone straight to another policy provider.

I'm coming up to the 6 month marker since purchase of a life insurance policy with Confused.com and still no sign of any cash-back. Patience is definitely the name of the game with this organisation.

I took out a life insurance policy with Aviva through confused.com. The purchase was tracked after I chased it up with Aviva, but I am yet to receive my cashback. I contacted the Quidco support team on several occasions and asked them to chase the cashback for me. All I keep getting are messages from Quidco confirming that their admin team are dealing with my request. I started chasing this in August 2012 and am still chasing. And you will not be surprised to hear that the Quidco Admin team are still looking into it for me! We are well over the 8 month deadline!!!

Have now waited a full year and no sign of any cashback appearing. My advice would be to stay away as never had this issue with any other retailer but reviews make it very clear that this is company policy.

Cashback tracked eventually but declined after 8 months causing alarm & frustration even though I hadn't cancelled.
Complaint raised with quidco & cashback has finally been paid but was a headache & time consuming.
Wouldn't bother with the hassle!

took out the life policy in June 2012, confirmed in feb 2013 only because I chased for it, this is far from the 6months payment scheduled on the site, from my experience and comments it seems the payment speed is closer to 9-10 months, quidco could be a little more honest about this retailer payment speed.

£100 Cash back pending for 9 months then declined with no reason. Chasing it up now, but support is so slow. Multiple similar review suggest that this is one to avoid. Quidco will lose all of its customer base if it continues to let none paying companies use it's site. Very, very disappointed.

The purchase of life insurance through confused has been one of the most awkward and difficult purchases that I have ever completed online.
Although confused.com have made some effort, they recommended Scottish Provident who took 5 months to complete the application and after 6 months, confused.com have now declined the cash back!!! Still waiting on a reason, but will most definitely not be using this link again!

The insurance itself is fine but the cashback is so slow! Waiting 6 months, raised a claim and still no sign of it! It also tracked at the wrong amount and Quidco still haven't corrected it.

I have had cashback problems with confused.com everytime I deal with them. First of all the sale never tracks on its own and then after raising a claim there is an endless wait for the payment

There is not really much to shout about, but there is also nothing to complain about. It was all very easy and very straightforward. The cash back amount is great and will come in very handy. So all in all, I'm a very happy customer.

The product and cashback are very competitive but getting the cashback confirmed and paid takes a really long time (still waiting in fact). If they could improve their payment speed i would probably use again.

Confused.com offer some worthwhile cashback offers via Quidco. Have received several policy cashbacks now. Some take longer than other which is a bit of a pain but you gets your money in the end!

Purchased in february, cashback only just confirmed nearly 10 months later after 3 months of pestering through quidco.
worth it if you can be bothered to wait but expect long delays and alot of hassle to get your cashback

Policy originally was quoted in Feb 2012 only tracked at correct amount in October and as of 29 November still not been paid cash back ,life insurance policy however was competitive and hopefully worth it once I receive cashback .. Correct Cashback paid in December ..good deal if your patient and willing to wait long time for cashback

Seriously, don't bother with this one. My cashback has been tracked since 31st July and I still haven't received it. I also have various cashbacks for insurance quotes from Confused.com that were tracked in March 2012 that are still unpaid. Very poor.
Don't bank on receiving your cash back.

1 - Cashback tracked at £40 eventhough it should be £100.
2 - Raised Cashback claim and still only received £40 eventhough my claim was accepted.
3 - Took 10 months before I received my cashback!
Overall I'm disappointed as I've lost out on £60 of cashback and Quidco ain't helping anymore.

Bit slow on the old payment front, maybe you cofused yourself, I'll not be making the same mistake twice. Tracked fast enough at wrong amount (lower obviously) took a Looooooooooooooong time to correct and took even Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonger to pay out :-(
