Direct Line Home Insurance offers & cashback

Cannot fault Direct Line for value for money. Offers the best cover for the cheapest price. Combining the cashback value, I found the best policy out there for the price. The cash back was a little slow (5 months) but this seems about average for most retailers these days.

Chosen for it's home emergency cover which my previous company and others which I looked at did not offer. Very competitive price and cashback too!! Very happy :)

The purchase took time to track but the payment was within the 180 days that were originally promised. Great price at the front end with cash back - result!

Took 5 months to confirm payment which is quite a long time consider its classed as a fater paying retailer

Purchased policy 22nd August 2012 received cashback 6 months later 1st March 2013 slow to payout out compared to other Retailers.

Atfer reading the reviews I was a bit dubious, however, I paid my policy at the end of October & payment of cashback was confirmed at the beginning of February which is quite acceptable

I signed up and paid for the policy (following the guidelines to the letter) by a single direct debit, this was done in July 2012 and almost 7 months I am still waiting for the Cashback to be confirmed and paid to my account. I am not sure where things have gone wrong, but it should not take over 7 months to get cash back on any sale let alone one from a "faster paying" vendor.

Excellent tracking of purchase, quick service. However, Confirmation and subsequent payment is rather slow. Purchased in September and did not confirm till end of January with expected payment in February!

I appear to have lost out on my cashback and don't know why. Quidco say its a postcode issue - should not affect a genuine purchase

I bought car and home insurance policies in July 2012. Its now January 2013 and still no payment. I had to raise a cashback claim for one of the polcies as it didn't track. Quidco should really be pushing them a little harder to get their foot out. They were showing as one of the 'faster paying' retail sites but I noticed this has recently changed and they are no longer being advertied as faster paying. How they could advertise themselves as this in the first place is beyond a joke. Nothing wrong with the policy I took out from Direct Line, however I would shop around more and compare cashback values from more insurance dealers next time. I will probably be needing new insurance for this year by the time I get paid :)

Nothing wrong with the service of Direct Line, but I'm not sure Quidco should label it as 'faster paying' when there is a 3 month verification window to get through before payment is made....come on Quidco- make it clearer !
