Ernest Jones offers & cashback

I am very unhappy. After ordering our wedding bands I received an email to say that Ernest Jones would need to speak with me before processing my order. It took several days to speak with the person dealing with the enquiry, nobody else would take my call as they were not sure what the problem was. Eventually on the third day of calling, I asked that the person in question actually called me back. It was then claimed that when calling back nobody was answering the phone....... given the environment i work in, i highly doubt this was the case. When i eventually got in contact with the correct person, they kept asking that i confirm my address and my fathers name?!? which i still do not understand, had i have gone into the store and just used my card this would not have been of interest to anyone. Then when my payment was confirmed, they processed the payment at a third of the original cost, meaning that our cashback tracked at less. I have now put a claim in and am awaiting a reply. I would not use Ernest Jones again, which is a shame as the staff at the Sutton Coldfield branch were fabulous and could not do more for us.

My purchase was in October 2012. Quidco had to chase up. Eventually I was advised the order number was incorrect and cashback was declined. It was not incorrect, I still have the original receipt with the order number on it.

Total waste of time, they will use any and every trick in the book to avoid paying cashback - AVOID and spend your money elsewhere
