The WORST retailer I have ever used. I expect decent service, but only bother complaining when I think the service is so poor they dont deserve to be in business. Ive shopped at hundreds of stores/websites in the last year and written 3 complaints, all complaints were to Evans. Poor customer service in store, not to mention poor standards of servicing (bike maintenance), they returned my bike in an unroadworthy condition. Cant use gift vouchers on-line so had to call them, they dont allow you to keep unused voucher values so was told to go to the store to place my order. Hows that for customer service! Lets inconvenience your customers because you dont design your systems properly. Even the customer service rep admitted their system doesnt work The stores, the website and mail order via phone dont work together to provide a functional company, they may as well be independent, Ive given them several chances and a poor service each and EVERY time. I cant think of another company I would not use again but Ill never buy anything from Evans again, Id sooner pay more elsewhere, but Evans isnt even normally the cheapest.

If anyone is thinking about using Evans Cycles for order & collect at store DONT! They told me my items would be there last Saturday, but they didnt turn up in time and now I cant collect them. However if you need a refund, you have to actually go to the store. Not so bad if you are local, but a round trip of 30 miles for a refund - I don't think so. Time to call the credit card company and NEVER use Evans again....

Although i was notified of the progress which was good, i also bought some upgrade parts that before the bike was assembled i asked if they could fit rather than the standard ones, to which i was told "no it has to be standard". A little dissapointing when spending just over £1300 up front. But apart from that everything else is good.

Made purchase in May 12. Didn't track properly so had to raise a claim in June 12. Claim not accepted by Evans until August 12 - Quidco were evidently chasing Evans prior to this. Despite this payment not then confirmed until January 13. In summary good luck with getting your cashback from Evans.

Pretty good service but remember that VAT is knocked off your purchase price so the cashback will be less than on the whole value of the order.

good products although you can find some items better priced on line, but they were the lowest for what i wanted and it was delivered very quickly. cash-back paid in 3 months, which is good, but not excellent.
