It's a waste of time. I've had one cash back refused for no reason, hence I did complete the purchase, and 2 cash backs waiting for payment for more than 2/3 months. Quidco it's great, halfords it's useless.

No problem at all with cashback from Halfords both online and in-store, one of the quickest paying companies and no problems with tracking. For small items such as headlights and radio wires it was very helpful, especially during sale times.

Having read various reviews I have currently an untracked purchase with Carphone Warehouse, despite it registering with quidco, so I now face the dilemma do I cancel under the 7 days or pursue the untracked purchase.. This was not a problem or consternation with Halfords, everything went as it should and I hope to receive payment shortly. The speed could be faster butt least it is paying up.

What can I say? Halfords may not be the best. Halfords may not be the cheapest. However, what it does have is a wide range of well-known (and a lot of lesser-known) branded items at generally competitive prices all under one roof. There's also usually someone in the shop who knows what he's talking about with regard to each department so advice can be had if required. As I said, it may be possible to find the same item cheaper elsewhere (check for periodic special offers/promotions before turning to Google) but if you live in a town there's probably a Halfords just down the road. For those who do live in rural locations, there is a delivery service which I personally have found to be excellent - swift, well-packed and received the items ordered - on several occasions.

Almost 8 months to confirm cashback would never ever use halfords in my remaining time on this earth even if paid to !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I very rarely worry too much about payment speeds as the trick to these sites is not buying anything you wouldn't have bought at full price anyway. Bit disappointed on looking at Halfords, today tho, which states 100% of cashback paid within 60 days and 100% within 4 months if a claim raised. On looking at my history, altho I do get paid eventually, it's 5 months on average, without a claim - not great and certainly not the stats published. Oh well, keep plodding I suppose at least it comes in the end :) :)
