The holiday I booked through lowcostholidays was competitive in price with respect to other travel agents, but what would have made it the cheapest was the cash back element.....but my cash back was declined because I did not meet the "critria". I have paid for my holiday in full so do not know what more I could have done to earn the cashback.

My cashback has also been declined without any logical explanaton. Like other posters, I feel cheated out of over 50 quid and feel pretty angry about it. I would not use this company again.
Edit 10th April - After rejecting my claim again, without any specific detail, I feel this company has cheated me out of money without any legitimate explanation. Out of principle, i'd avoid using this company again at all costs, terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE!!!

Brilliant but sad to note that long haul destinations don't include ALL long haul destinations! Seen off but still good to get some cash back on expensive holiday. No problems.

A friend had a bad holiday experience however the customer service from low cost was gr8 they followed it up and ALL were happy with the result. I was pleased with the speed of the tracking and the payment has been made did not take long at all so thumbs up here... As for the holiday booked I feel sure if there are any issues they will sort it.

By far the best value hol company. About £40 cheaper than hotels.com, who I phoned to ask for a price match, which was unsuccessful. Will defo use again. Cash back paid within a week to. Wonderful!

Cashback was declined and there seems to be no redress if the retailer chooses not to disclose where its referral fee went.
This was a significant sum and so I'm not happy and feel cheated.
Maybe it was a technical cookie tracking issue - which is one possibility - but in reality the system should be built to work this out properly.
Quidco team responded well but are ultimately powerless.

The cashback showed as confirmed straight away, but the amount was not added to my balance to be paid until over a month later. I've looked through the FAQs, and have no idea why this happened. The only think I can think of is that it is now a week before I travel, so can no longer cancel my booking. I would have thought it would be simpler to just show it as tracked until this stage, and then confirm?

Malta: I booked a holiday via Lowcost holidays which included transfers, my transfer did not arrive so I had to spend and extra £30 on a taxi to get to the airport to fly home. Total cashbach = £18, taxi = £30. Cost of transfer = £14.

I bought a holiday to Mexico for me and my wife from lowcostholidays.com as it was the cheapest (c. 15% less) than Thompson, Thomas Cook, Virgin Holidays etc. And on top of that we got 5% cashback, so overall it was a great deal. The customer service was very good as well: when our flight times changed (we will fly with Virgin Atlantic) we got a call followed up by an email to inform us of this. But our friends who are coming with us on this holiday, who booked it via Virgin Holidays, received no communication about this. Definitely recommend them!

Hidden charges and crazy 2.5% card fee! The flight prices on the website are not what you will end up paying... so be sure to call them first at 10p per min to get an up-to-date price as the website is not updated instantly from airline price feeds 'aparantly'. Don't plan on staying at the hotel of your choice either as in the term it says you may be put in an alternative hotel if yours is fully booked!!! Yes this happened to us and we were put in a different hotel... yes of the same star but NOT of the same standard, we spent ages looking for a hotel that ticked all of our boxes and to be told you won't be staying at it is not on!

I've been using Low Cost hols for several years and booked many trips. Their site is excellent and a great way to find deals for both hotels and flights. I have found their pricing very competative compared to similar and more well known companies. Documentation is good and I have never experienced any issues at a hotel or airport. Quidco deals compliment this good service and cashback has always been paid promptly. Thoroughly recommended.

Don't normally write reviews, but am really incensed by this company. We booked online for summer 2013, at a good price (£100 less than lastminute.com) but received a phone call almost 24 hrs later claiming the flights we had chosen were no longer available and we would have to pay an extra £400 to secure our holiday. Customer service was appalling and no attempt was made to respond to follow up emails. This was in addition to extra, hidden, charges at checkout including a 2.5% ( unavoidable) card handling fee and airline "taxes" of £60 which I had thought were already included. I know there are lots of positive reviews ( I checked before booking), but BEWARE. This company promise low prices, but I can vouch for the fact that the website prices can be misleading. Be prepared to pay more than you bargained for.....
Have now cancelled holiday and booked with easyjet for similar price. Will not use lowcostholidays again..

I have been holidaying with lowcostholidays.com for the last four years and have never encountered any problems - fantastic bargain prices and an easy to use website (together with a quick look at reviews on tripadvisor.co.uk to check out the hotels before booking) makes booking a holiday with this company a pleasant and much cheaper experience! And now with the added bonus of cashback through Quidco (and paid back to you at lightning speed) it doesnt get much better than that! Keep up the good work! :-)
