The average Brit will go on 13 first dates, 11 romantic dinners - and endure seven 'disasters' before meeting 'the one', a study by Quidco has revealed. Researchers who carried out a detailed report also discovered the average adult will spend almost £11,000 on dating, before they finally walk down the aisle. Additionally, the study of 2,000 married adults found the average adult will part with almost £1,355 on first dates alone over their dating lifetime.
