I joined Quidco mid august and i have already recieved over £200!!!!!!
Im very interested to find out how much other people have recieved and also your best "bargin" from Quidco!
kajspice > yes you never know with cashback you don't always get it....
I've had problems with a british gas home care package - cashback got increased for a period to £80 - over a year later still waiting, contract is up to be renewed... !
Not quidco fault mind....

@kajspice, actually, that information's in our Help section! :) "In order for you to get paid cashback, the merchant has to track your transaction as a referral that originated from the Quidco site. If anything causes the referral to come from any other source, the Quidco transaction won't track. This means the merchant won't pay Quidco, and Quidco can't pay you." There's a lot of other important information in there, too -please click the "Help" button at the top of any Quidco page to access it. :)

Yeah, great thing...Quidco. I have had about £250.00 so far.
I had £45.00 denied though, because I got the best price through confused.com and then went through Quidco. They (Quidco) really should have been clear that they would refuse if the referral fee was to be paid to someone else.. Not such a happy bunny - !
So long as you are buying things which you actually NEED, or that you were going to buy anyway, (at the best price).. It doesn't matter how much you have spent/earned.

Joined in May and have recieved 350. Most of that was from the gambling sites, but the payday loan was just some excellent free money...
Used my first 200 quid to buy a 32' telly from Misco (and got cashback on that!)

Lahin > I fully agree.... some very good cashback through insurance, etc. Noticed on MoneySavingexpert some had the cheapest car insurance yet £14 - £134 - £120 cashback good eh!

wrightnick> think it depends what sector you are purchasing in. For example if its just a high street store e.g. PC World, Boots etc that sells online then no the price is the same, and you would save money by going through Quidco and get cash back some 3 months later. On the other hand if its Insurance what ever kind is a huge market and quite a few of the better value insurers are not listed on affiliated sites or price check sites. So you have to do your own research on these particularly travel insurance, banking and holidays and the gifts (i.e not necessary luxury sector!)

My concern is do suppliers put up the price because you going through quidco ?
So you think your getting something extra when your paying a bit more but getting it back as 'cashback'
I did see another thread on this somewhere

Another thought (i'm so wise today :-) Would you have bought the goods/services anyway at the price offered? If so, the cashback is really coming to you at zero cost.

Another way of looking at quidco, is as disposable income. What else would you have to do to get an extra £50 a month that had no strings attached? (e.g. better job might = more hours, longer travel, aditional training etc etc)

I joined Quidco in August 2005, so when you consider the length of time i've used it £1247 isn't that big.....

What would be interesting to note would be how much you've had to spend to get the amount back...i.e work out ratios, i.e. is it better to pay more and get cashback or pay less in the first place and get no or minimal cash back. Some sectors such as a Travel Insurance, holidays, banking (if any left!) all kinds are very cheap if they are not signed up to affiliates.

Well done drewkent. You're right. I did spend quite a bit to get it, but it was all other people money, so I dont mind:-)

Joined 18 months ago and from spending very little actual money have clocked up £700. These people who say 'Oh yeah well I've got £1000!' have probably spent that amount in the first place to get it back!
