TJ Hughes Ltd was placed into administration in June 2011 and has now ceased trading. Lewis's Home Retail Ltd stepped in and bought the rights to trade under the name TJ Hughes. Lewis's continues the TJ Hughes tradition to provide big brand names at affordable prices and ensures that the nations favourite discount department store is still going strong. With 7 stores nationwide, a continued online presence and expansion plans over the next couple of years Lewis’s is well on the way to restoring this iconic brand back to its former eminence.
