Product was competitively priced and the camera arrived sound and undamaged. However, the delivery was delayed because, as a new customer buying on credit, certain checks had to be made. This wasn't made clear when placing the order, which promised next day delivery. On the plus side though, they did refund the charge for next day delivery.
The reason I went with Very in the first place was that the cashback meant they were cheaper than elsewhere. Not when you find that the claim is declined! Being a high value item, the casnback should have been over £30. I followed the proper procedure in making the purchase; deleting cookies, following the link from Quidco etc, to no avail.
I'm unlikely to shop at Very again.

Having read the reviews after lodging a complaint I now wish I had read this before using the site, just like the other complaints I don't think I will get my money back offering 11% I got a pathetic 1% back and I was a new customer. I shall wait and then take complaint further.

I placed my first order which should have been 7% cashback but I only received 1%. I tried to make an incorrect cashback amount claim but didn't have the 12 digit order reference number. I didn't get an e-mail with the order number on so I contacted Very through my account "contact us" button. I did this twice but didn't get a response. I also e-mailed them with no luck. I wasn't going to ring them as it would have cost me more than my cashback was worth. The instructions for picking my parcel up from the Collect+ place were also wrong so it nearly cost me two visits. As far as I'm concerned, their customer service is non existent , which says a lot about a company. It's very unlikely I would buy from them again.

Love them - think the site is brill, if I ever have a problem with the account the call staff are always helpful.

Beware. As a new customer I expected the 7% cashback as advertised, but it only tracked at 1% (for existing customers). My first query ended up with, 'it always tracks at the lower amount to start with' and my second query for the full amount (after the 1% was paid) was declined.
As a normal order, the transaction went smoothly and I would use them again.
Not impressed!

As a new customer i should have had 7% cash back only got 1% they also offered £10 off my first order on opening an account which I didn't get either because I didn't buy the right goods!! Will not bed using them again.

Purchase was tracked no problem, and then declined. Raised a cashback claim back in January, which took 2 months to reply to, then a message appeared "did not meet terms and conditions"- no explanation whatsoever.Do not be fooled by the lure of high percentage cash back. "Very", hang your heads in shame. You will not get any repeat business from me, or anyone who seeks my opinion of you.

How can companies like this continue to be allowed to promote themselves with healthy cash back through quidco and then for absolutely no justifiable reason decline a claim without any way of complaining? Totally disgusted and hope that as I will do the will continue to lose business and go the same way as other less customer service retailers and be out of business sooner rather than later

My Cashback was declined for no reason and I wasn't e-mailed at the time so now it's too late to make a claim.
I've had several bad experiences with Very EG: Orders damaged by being thrown over a fence then not being refunded my postage costs. Now This has happened I will not be using them in the future.

After not receiving my cashback and raising a dispute, Very rejected the £9 due to me by cashback (I placed a very large Christmas order with them-Never again!)
I'm guessing as it was a large cashback amount they decided to reject it (as there seems to be others that have received theirs)
Won't use this dishonest company again!

Very provided an excellent product at a great price. Unfortunately they did not pay the higher % new customer cashback rate and instead only paid 1% of the price instead of the 7-9% for a new customers first purchase.
Very paid cashback at 1% very quickly but I have now had to raise a manual claim to get the extra rate.
This has probably happened to more people than just myself!

Very as a company are really good. Offering something for everyone at very competitve rates I have always shopped and will continue to do so but EVERY purchase I made with them via Quidco has been declined. I have no clue as to why this is as every other retailer I have used has confirmed cashback very quickly. Very are VERY disappointing and therefore have made me not bother with the hassle of going via the Quidco site. It is simply not worth my hassle.

I have just used Very for the 1st time & was amazed @ the speed and ease of service. I ordered a few items & were delivered via collect+. I got these the following day, the shoes were a little big so ordered the smaller size. Ordered at 630pm & they were ready to collect the next day @ 11am. Exchanged parcels & was refunded in a couple of days! All in all I ordered, returned reordered @ had money back in under a week. PLUS I earned quidco cashback! Very impressed so far! (Oh and I loved the dresses I ordered too!)

Customer service is non existent. Received a text day AFTER delivery was due to say item was not in stock & would be delivered in 1 to 3 months. Rang customer service, difficult to get through, and were told could not cancel order. Eventually aftermuch complaining they rang back to say order could be cancelled but would take 10 days for money to be paid back, even though they took it from our account day order was made. Did take 10 days to be refunded & website is still showing stck available. Horrendous company.

Did everything correctly and very annoyed my cash back has been declined. Spent over £200 as a first customer to obtain £13.93 in cash back.
The order was for a Nexus 7. Had several texts from retailer saying the item would not be available until after Christmas. It arrived a few days later.
Will now not recommend any friends or family to use Very.co.uk
In fact I might consider not using quidco anymore.

ash back rate was low but something is better than nothing! this was my first time ordering from very and they couldn't even find our house! we couldn't be any easier to find! so my Hoover came a day late which as someone with a cleaning o c d I wasn't happy! they wouldn't give me the 10% off first order because I bought Hoover bags with the Hoover for half price bags! which I think was unfair! but saying that the pay no interestfor three months is good and online account is easy to use

Product delivered as described. Very, very poor tracking of transaction. Had to chase cashback (make sure you keep all transaction details), and had to wait forever before I got a measly few pence from them. Go elsewhere if you want a good cashback deal.

Retailer has a good range of products with some good promotions. The cashback rate is terrible, so low it's almost non-existent.
Of 2 transactions, one tracked fine, the other required a claim to be made, the former took over 4 months to pay out and the latter almost 6 months later has only just been confirmed and has yet to be paid. All in all, very slow to pay even though their cashback is the lowest of any company I have used so far.....

That's not first time, and not the last one when I ordered something from the company. They have quite good deals, as Lego sets for half price, or games 2 4 1 with quick free delivery. Wick point is return service; you must keep proof of postage, as they tried a few times just ignoring my return. They hadn't given me full refund up to time when I called to them with my receipt.

I have always had good experiences. The items are great and delivery normally fast. I use Very regularly and will contiue to use them. I love Very treats too. Cashback is tracked fast and paid fast.

They use Yodel as their delivery service, and my £500 laptop "went missing" when ordered on next day delivery. Nine days later I went to their office in an attempt to collect it, and I was told that it "wasn't their job" to tell me.
If you order from Very in the lead up to Christmas you must be aware that there is a very real possibility that your order will not arrive on time.

Ok so the cashback side of things with Very went smoothly, however once you sign up with them prepare to be hounded by sales people trying to encourage you to sell more. I was getting 3 calls a day at one point! I've now closed my account with them because I got so fed up of being harassed despite telling them to stop calling!

Very advertised a 10% discount to a first order, however this was not applied when I made my first order for a laptop. I called Very to ask why and was put through to 5 different people before they realised the discount did not apply to electrical items. I asked Very to cancel the order, which they did but, I still had to pay delivery charges even though the order had not been despatched and I have no laptop. Very poor service.

I love shopping with very because they have such a wide variety of products. I've purchased kitchenware, clothing and bedding from them and would rarely find the need to return anything. The customer service team are quick at responding to any e-mails I might send and the delivery is usually ok in terms of how long it takes to receive things.
