I ordered a top and was charged next day delivery even though I expected a longer delivery which was free. Once the transaction took place and I realised I was charged next day delivery, I contacted their customer services to request cancellation of my order or to refund my delivery charge. They ignored my email, and sent it out. Then they responded a few days later to say they wouldn't do jack for me! What a damn joke. I sent back the top and got refund for top only. They conned me out of £4.95 delivery. You have been warned....stay away from them!

The prices are good but the despatch of goods and theyre customer services is just dreadfull. Zavvi are just so inconsistant itsa shame as they do have some big plusses however its like anything else the bad bits just stand out dont they??

Said on site that goods would be despatched within one day. Took 30 days to arrive! Zavvi said that they were having a problem with suppliers. If this was the case then they shouldn't advertise as in stock. I doubt if this was true as I have since read many reviews similar to this across the internet!

Used Zavvi quite a few times now and happy to recommend them. Cashback is tracked promptly and paid quickly now they are a 'faster paying' supplier. They are not always most competitive supplier, but certain products are and delivery is always very prompt. Happy to recommend this supplier.

Item ordered on the 25th November, 2012, as at the 8th January 2013 still not received the goods which were for a christmas present. Not happy with customer service and had to go onto their facebook page which seems to get more attention and complain there along with many other unhappy customers. A second package has been sent I have been told but still waiting.

I had forgotten about Zavvi, but when I needed Just Dance 4 as a Christmas gift, they had the best price. The only issue was the delivery speed, as it arrived the day before I needed it and I couldn't track it, but the cashback tracking and confirmation were very quick.

Zavvi offer some of the best prices on the net and some good fast cashback BUT do not preorder anything and expect to get it on time. I have preordered 3 times and not once has it arrived on the day of release. Two times it didn't arrive at all and I had to cancel the order. The other time it arrive 2 weeks after release but lucky for me it was still the cheapest price by a long way. I use Paypal when buying from them as no money leaves my account until the item is sent so this make it easier to cancel orders (But this can also cause problem). All Zavvi need is a MASSIVE shake up in the customer service department and all will be very good with them.

Chased my order twice but it never arrived. Slow response from Zavvi both times. They promised to refund my credit card within 3/5 working days - its now 8 days and still no refund. I have chased them again and still no reply after 3 days. I strongly recommend that you do not use this supplier.

I ordered 2 blu rays. I received an email a week after placing the order saying that one was out of stock and they wont be replacing it. They claimed they would send the other one. After several weeks, and after being charged, that still hadn't arrived. Apparently lost in post they claim. They then took several more weeks to refund me. The least they could do is conform the 78p cashback since they took my money but they've declined that as well.

Zavvi's customer service, delivery times and packaging is terrible. Yes their prices are often the cheapest online but their service is useless. They take forever to dispatch and deliver your order and their returns process is beyond terrible. It's taken me nearly 3 months to get a refund for a DVD boxset which was damaged in the post. I went through their returns process, returned the damaged goods and waited for my replacement DVD. Nothing! 6 weeks went by and multiple phone calls to Zavvi "customer service" did not resolve the issue. They claimed they had not received the returned DVD. I scanned and emailed them a copy of the proof of posting. Then they claimed that, yes, they had received it but that the DVD was out of stock with their suppliers but they would send my replacement as soon as it was back in stock. Then out of the blue they completely cancelled my order saying the DVD was no longer available, but "not to worry because we haven't charged you" - even though I had paid for the original (damaged) DVD almost 3 months before! I am still waiting for my refund and I still don't have the DVD. I am never shopping at Zavvi again. Also, and I suppose this is relevant for QuidCo users, they take ages to pay cash back even though they are supposedly a "faster paying" provider.

They continously cancel orders without notifying me, seem to have very low prices to drive traffic to their site via Hotukdeals posts only to cancel orders. I wojldn't use them again and my request to them to stop sending me emails with offers (to which they agreed to remove me from their mailing lists) goes on...............pitiful company/service.

I've been using Zavvi for years for all my entertainment purchases, games, CD's and bluray discs and they never disappoint in terms of price or customer service. My only niggle (if there has to be one) is that CD delivery can be a little slow sometimes. However the excellent prices more than make up for this so waiting an extra few days for my stuff is worth it!
