Pays to be persistent
A week ago I left a review here as one of the many disgruntled customers who's AA Insurance cashback had been declined for no reason, the AA stating in their decision that it was for one of several reason (which they then listed), none of which I was guilty of
I decided to post my upset on Twitter, mentioning both Quidco and the AA in my upset at the AA's decision
Within an hour the AA responded to me on Twitter and apologised. They then asked me to provide all information about my policy and my contact details to them via Twitter's direct messaging system so they could investigate
After only 48 hours what was previously their steadfast position to decline my cashback they reversed their decision and awarded me the cashback in full (£19) which immediately appeared in 'My Quidco'
I've adjusted my previous score of the AA to take into account their amended decision but the main purpose of this review is to advise other Quidco members not to give up when the AA decline cashback but instead to contact the AA and complain about their original (declined) decision
