Argos went big on Black Friday 2016 – they didn’t restrict the special offers to the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend, but ran special sales for a 12-day Black Friday bonanza until the Wednesday after Black Friday. During this time, they offered amazing deals on TVs, laptops, game consoles, such as PS4 and Xbox One, mobile phones (including the iPhone), but also small kitchen appliances (like microwaves), toys, furniture and jewellery and watches.

Some of the individual highlights were a Philips 49" 4K Ultra HD Ambilight Smart TV, with two coloured lights on either side of the screen, for £444 instead of £699 (a whopping £255 reduction); the Fitbit Charge 2 Heart Rate plus Fitness Band in black, which was reduced from £129.99 to £109.99; and the Philips Wireless Noise-Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones reduced by £55 to £34.99.

There were also up to 50% reductions on watches and jewellery. Parents had the chance to do some early Christmas shopping, securing half price savings on toys, but also homewares and furniture were reduced by 25% during Black Friday 2016 (for spending over £30 or £150 respectively).

During Black Friday 2016, Quidco members were also able to earn 7.5% cashback on their online purchases at Argos.

Well Argos’ range of these classic toy brands is even more extensive, and now it’s so much easier to buy them online and save money at the same time.

And when you shop through Quidco, you get more time and money back, so you can really make the most of these special moments in your family.

The site’s easy to navigate, with dropdown menus sorted into clear categories, like Technology – for TVs, mobile phones and trending items, like drones and VR sets – to Jewellery & Watches where you’ll find great gift ideas for your special someone, plus top wedding tips and inspiration. In Home & Garden you can shop by the season’s latest trends to find the perfect accent pieces and statement furniture to refresh any room. Or you can step outside and shop the Argos range of outdoor furniture that’ll transform even the most compact spaces into your own mini haven in the sunshine.

Argos has loads of delivery and collection options, so once you find a great cashback deal through Quidco, you can get your purchase brought to you, or you can reserve your item and pick it up at your nearest store.

Can Argos items be reserved in-store?

There are flexible payment options if you want to reserve your purchase in-store, so you can either pay now online or when you pick it up. If you need to, you can cancel your reservation if you go to Recent Orders at Argos online.

How do I check my Argos orders?

You can check your Argos order history in Recent Orders on your online Argos account. Can I get Quidco cashback with an Argos Card?

Remember, you won’t be able to claim cashback on Argos purchases made through Quidco if you use an Argos credit card, so bear that in mind the next time you spot a great deal through us.
