Still waiting for payments 5 months on

I booked my holiday early last year and visited the hotel in Sept, returning 3rd Oct. Since then I have chased my cash back several times with a response from Quidco to say they are chasing Barceló. A retailer shouldn’t advertise paying within 8-12 was when this isn’t true.

Refused Cashback

Put in claim through Quidco but refused as they said referral came through elsewhere, I had cancelled the original booking also through Quidco that I had with Expedia to go direct with Barcelo when I saw they were in Quidco as I prefer to go direct if possible - I will not do so again as I have never had an issue getting cashback paid using third party sites.

Cashback Declined

I booked directly via Quidco only for the cash back to be declined. When I put in a claim that was eventually declined as well on the basis of the cashback being paid to another referrer. However this cannot possibly be the case as I only went through Barcelo and I did the usual of clearing all cookies etc. This happens all too frequently and it would be very helpful in these cases if the details of which referrer received the cashback could be provided as this may help to make sense of what has happened.
