Good but I still overpaid £20

I was able to buy tickets for anywhere in the country, not just the Chiltern Line. Pricing seemed the same as anywhere else and it seemed as easy to use as any. Our local station ticket machine was not working so I could not print my ticket but the guard on the train was able to print it from the booking reference. Cash back tracked quickly. Unfortunately I have just booked a journey via London for which I have paid £45 return and I have just realised that had I bought separate tickets for the two legs of the journey I could have done it for £35. That's £20 overpaid for two people. Don't trust any site to get you the best deal. Should have gone to a split ticketing site instead.

Compare the Prices with other Sites

You may be best advised to check that you are getting the cheapest price for your journey. Try other train companies as well. Some will allow you to click to find if there are cheaper tickets on slower (some only 5 mins.) journeys.

Website is awful - not worth the hassle for cashback

They offer a great rate, but the website often does not work. Troubles signing in, takes ages to load train times and prices and often has tech failure messages come up. This has been tried on different browsers and devices with the same issue. I had to call them as one order only gave me collection ref for half the tickets, I was told that they took all the money but some tickets failed to register on the order so now waiting for a refund. When I raised on the phone about the poor website and constant issues they simply didn't care and changed the subject entirely. Not worth the hassle.
