Friendly Turtle was founded on the belief that the choices we make can have an impact on the planet, and we all share a responsibility to look after it. Through making more informed and conscious decisions, we can reduce the damage we have on the world around us. In creating this connection between our daily choices and the impacts they have on the environment, we can live more sustainably and responsibly.

Set up by Ricky back in 2018, he had not long got back from 3 years living overseas. It was the year spent living in Australia which made him realise just how much better they were at living sustainably and looking after the environment. After waking up to the amount of rubbish we all produce and throw away every week, he wanted to do something about it. He started living the change he wanted to see around him. Through living this change, the idea was planted and the decision was made to set up Friendly Turtle and begin helping others create the same positive changes for our environment.

Rickys younger sister, Carly, got involved and helped set up our new sparkly online shop. We began searching for modern and innovative brands that wanted to conduct their business in a similar manner to our own and provide products which can primarily help reduce the impacts we have through its use. We are still looking for new and exciting brands every week that share a similar ethos to our own. We can now offer our customers a unique catalogue of products which all fall under one or more of the below values; Recycled materials, vegan, handmade, plastic free, social contribution, natural ingredients, animal curelty-free, organic & made in the UK.

We want our customers to feel good about their purchases, and be assured that all of your purchases made through Friendly Turtle will be benefiting the environment and/or local communities in one way or another. And by providing an online store that offers eco-conscious products, WE can help people to help the environment. We are also thrilled to be able to donate 5% of all our profits to charities or social enterprises that carry out incredible projects around the globe. These are often the guys on the front-line rallying and petitioning for the changes we all want to see!
