Ordered a new screen for an Ipad mini, Cost £60. Sounded pretty reasonable then a checkout the they add the cost for delivery. Once you have paid it become apparent that the delivery you just paid for is for the retrn of the item, none of this includes the cost of getting the item to them. That cost me a further £15.
Once they have it the then send you an email asking for your Passcode so they can access the device....... At no stage do they tell you they need this. I called them and even the technitian on the phone told me that he understands why I wouldnt want to give them the passcode and that he had fraud commited against him in similar circumstances that cost him over £2500. I was then warned that if I dont provide the passcode then they will be unable to test and no warranty will be provided. Item returned the next day. Screen looks like its fuzzy, not as clear as it was before going in. the back however is covered in sticky stuff which i can only presume is glue. Called the company and was told they dont use genuine apple parts and that the screen used in the repair was of a lover resolution than one that would be supplied apple they also stated that they would usually clean the item before despatching in this case they hadnt. No sorry or appology. Disputing payment with my CC as this is not what I signed up for.
