Like insurance, you only know how good a company is when something goes wrong. On the plus side, IPP are the cheapest by far for any 1-2kg item going to the US and Canada. The collections are usually on time and prompt, and the deliveries are nearly always ahead of time. The big minus for me, and many other users of this company, is that there is no phone number to contact customer services when there is an issue with a consignment, just email details. The usual procedure is for IPP to contact customers with the message "please forward an phone number for this recipient (usually dated then a day later) to avoid abandonment". When an item is returned they also try to lump customers with a large bill. For instance, I had an item returned recently which cost a shade over £15 to send, but when it was returned the company requested £43 to have it returned to myself. The most annoying thing was that in this case the company had not contacted me before returning it. That being said, only a few items have ever had problems with delivery, and overall they are pretty reliable.
