Jet2Holidays well priced holiday but Cashback AWOL even after 1 year

After 4 months of trying to chase cash back I got a response below that details why I will not be getting the cash Bach as advertised!!
A voucher code was used at the time of purchase
• The order was amended
Some of the retailers terms and conditions were not met
• The items purchased were not eligible for the rate expected
• A delivery method not specified in the rate was used
I find this astounding that they cannot even give me the reason. Rather they just give generic reasons!!! Wholely unimpressed and won't be using them again out of principle!!!!
In 2017 I purchased a Jet2Holiday all inclusive holiday and have to say it was good quality for the price paid and all arrangements went without a hitch and would highly recommend them for customer service and costs.
When I bought the holiday, the purchase tracked as £0.01, and I was advised that this would sort itself out after the actually holiday date.
(Quote: "Some retailers will always track your purchase at a lower amount, and then update to the correct amount of cashback once the transaction is confirmed". On checking the retailer's terms and conditions, I can see that this is the case for your transaction.)
Months after the holiday it moved from 'tracked' to 'confirmed' and still showed as £0.01!!!
Numerous claims were raised however I keep getting the same response quoting:
"When a transaction becomes delayed in your account, we have a dedicated payments team who will chase these up for you on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, due to the way the cashback process works, we are unable to pay transactions until we receive confirmation from the retailer".
So to be waiting over 1 year is beyond belief and my only conclusion is that the cashback is offered to hook you in, and then you are never paid what was advertised.
To compound it the Quidco website for querying this is to keep raising 'claims' which never seems to get anywhere: "We will look into this further for you and as soon as we have confirmation from the retailer, we will make sure this gets paid into your account.". I then never hear from from them for months and have to start the whole claims process again.
Very disappointing customer service!!!!!!!!
