Need to know

  • Quidco Energy Compare is a comparison tool with a difference. In addition to comparing the energy market’s best value tariffs you can also earn cashback when you switch!

    You may not be aware, but each time you buy something through Quidco - in this case you might switch to a new energy provider - we earn a commission. It’s this commission that we pass back to you as ‘cashback’.

    It’s our way of thanking our members for using our service and it marks us out from our competitors.

  • Simply complete the form with your details and we’ll share the energy tariffs that could save you money.

    When you've found a deal you like, simply click on the ‘Proceed online’ button to visit the supplier’s website.

    Then complete your purchase as normal. We’ll track your purchase and when your cashback is confirmed we’ll pay it into your Quidco account.

  • Ideally you’ll be in a position to share an annual bill outlining the amount of energy you use, preferably in kWh rather than cost. It’s no problem if you don’t have this information, you can estimate your usage; if you're moving home the comparison does it for you. Estimating your usage won’t provide a fully accurate saving projection, but we won’t be too far out.

  • For switching single supplier you can receive £20, and for a dual fuel switch you can receive £40

  • Cashback earned through Quidco Energy Compare will take three to five months to reach ‘confirmed’ status in your Quidco account. When it does you’ll be able to withdraw it to your chosen payment method.

  • Your cashback is currently tracking at £1 as your switch is currently in process, please do not worry about this. As soon as the switch to the new supplier is complete and you are being billed by your new chosen supplier, the cashback amount will change to the correct amount. In order to ensure your new switch goes smoothly please ensure that you do check your emails regularly as your new supplier or Energylinx may contact you for further information regarding your energy switch.

  • If your cashback hasn’t tracked within 24 hours please visit Quidco Support and raise a missing cashback claim. If you need a hand with this our Support team are always happy to help.

  • If your cashback takes longer than five months to reach ‘confirmed’ status please contact the Quidco Support team and we’ll talk to the provider on your behalf.
