Helpful Information

Shopping Ryanair

Whether you want to climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower, relax on one of the golden sandy beaches that line the Spanish islands or ski down Switzerland’s snowy white mountains, you can get there with Ryanair’s cheap flights.

Ryanair is Europe’s favourite airline. It carries 117 million people per year on more than 1,800 daily flights from 84 bases. From those bases, the airline connects over 200 destinations in 33 countries with the help of hundreds of aircrafts. Ryanair offers some stunning deals, but that doesn’t you can’t make them cheaper still. Shop Ryanair through Quidco to get cashback on your flights and holidays.

Ryanair flights

Start by taking a look through Ryanair flights. Enter your desired departure airport and arrivals airport. Perhaps you don’t know where you want to go. Perhaps you’re throwing caution into the wind, you want to embark on a trip somewhere you’ve never been before, but you don’t know where. The handy drop-down menu on the RyanAir site will help give you some inspiration. Why not go somewhere worth talking about, like Slovakia or Ukraine.

Once you’ve selected your destination, put in the number of travellers and the class you’d like to travel, either ‘Regular’, ‘Leisure Plus’ and ‘Business Plus’, depending on your budget and needs.

Ryanair check-in

To make things easier, you can check-in online for free from seven days up to two hours before your flight, or from 30 days when purchasing an allocated seat. Once you have checked in you can then print off your boarding pass. This means you won’t have to queue at the check-in gate at the airport — you just waltz right through to security. That’s more time spent in bed or at the airport bar.

Ryanair baggage

With every Ryanair plane ticket comes a small baggage allowance. The bag that you get to take on board as part of your fare needs to be small enough to fit under the seat in front of you. It could be a handbag, laptop bag or backpack. This is great if you’re going you’re going for a short getaway but if you’re going away for longer, you may want to think about buying an extra bag.

You could opt for a priority booking to allow for another bag. This allows you to take another 10k wheelie case on the flight with you. One, this is good because you don’t have to wait for your bag to come round the carousel on the other side. And two, you get to go in a special priority queue when boarding, which makes you feel like a boss.

There are also options to check-in bags, too. These usually start at around £10 per checked-in bag.
