Despite my phone order being hit by the well-publicised delays on the roll out of the S4, I have been incredibly impressed by the customer service at Carphone Warehouse. I had seen some bad reviews when ordering on Quidco, but they really have been amazing dealing instantly with slight issues with the handset after a couple of days (which are hopefully all resolved now). It is a brilliant phone (I'm glad I waited for the s4 having held on to my s2 for a while), 3's super fast 3G signal (and unlimited data) has been a revelation, and Carphone Warehouse have restored my faith in buying from the high street.
No cashback yet (took delivery of the phone on Friday 3 May), but it is "Guaranteed" and was a really great offer when it will pay for just shy of 3 months of my 24 month contract. I suppose using their alliances with companies like Quidco, allows Carphone Warehouse to compete on price with "online only" retailers where you can't possibly get the same level of service or tech support.
Rare, but very pleasing in the digital age. Keep up the good work!

After reading all the negative comments I decided to ignore them and give carphonewarehouse a chance when upgrading my contract to an iPhone 5. The £80 cash back deal was awesome however as all things in life if its too good to be true....!
They cancelled my order on the basis that I was not eligible to upgrade which was rubbish as I am eligible.

Despite being assured by O2 that I had the correct information, car phone warehouse insisted that my details didn't match & therefore wouldn't complete the upgrade I had ordered. Perhaps the deal was too good to be true (£80 cash back on iPhone).

Placed order online with credit card, next day got a call from CPW to say there was a problem with my card and I had to contact my bank. Called bank who told me everything ok. Called CPW back and explained this but was told I had to use another card which I did.
I don't think there was anything wrong with the credit card I used online (it works fine everywhere else), I feel they created a false reason to do a phone call to ensure the transaction didn't complete wholly online, this means they have a reason to decline my cashback. I feel they are deliberately exploiting Quidco users and will raise this matter with Quidco.
I fell for it, make sure you don't. Needless to say I won't be going anywhere near CPW again.

purchased the samsung galaxy s4 with £49 cashback which tracked fine. carphone warehouse contacted me to tell me that the order failed so had to redo online via quidco, however second order didnt track properly so had to raise a claim which was easy enough on the quidco website!. waited 10 days to be told the second order failed an internal credit check. now stuck with no phone and little chance of passing another credit check. really disappointed. iv saw a few similar reviews but hoped i would have been fine. BEWARE

I only really use them for things they have on offer, as their standard pricing is normally beaten by other's offers.
Everything has tracked and paid so I cannot ask more of their service.
One improvement might be to order online to pick up in store, as it would save having to wait in for the mail to arrive (or visit the sorting office/courier as it normally needs signed for).
One other advantage is if the phone they sell is available from more than one network - they normally send an unlocked phone, as it saves them carrying stock for each provider.

I can only deduce having placed 3 separate orders with Carphone Warehouse that if you use Quidco they instantly terminate your order.
I placed an order for a monthly contract, with delivery of a sim card due the following day. After waiting a week, I called Carphone Warehouse who informed me that the order had been terminated but no reason given.
I have now ordered without using Quidco and the order is going through OK. I did the same with Vodafone about a month ago - it seems that mobile phone companies are a law unto themselves....
Not recommended.

Failed to track but after putting a claim in, it was confirmed just about within the 3 months waiting (and the month you have to wait before putting a claim in).
Not bad. Extra £35.
Just don't expect the cashback, just think of it as a bonus, otherwise you may be disappointed.

Carphone Warehouse insisted I go into store to provide proof of ID despite previously accepting it over the phone. Once in store I was told there was no way they could continue with the current order, they absolutely had to start a new order. They insinuated this was done to avoid cashback. Don't fall for this.

I tracked at £35 and then it would increase to £80 for my contract with O2. Every thing went through ok including the security part and I awaited my phone delivery next day. It did not arrive
I spoke to Car Phone Warehouse and they said I had problems with my card.. My credit rating is excellent. After speaking to the card company they said they I had unusual activity on my card as someone had tried to re key my card. So they put a stop on my card. Hence I had to complete over the phone. And now I am £80 lighter. And an expensive phone. So like others Beware!!!!!

I applied for new Iphone 4 contract deal with 02 via Carphone Warehouse, which advertised £50 cash back.
Despite having an excellent credit score I was refused the deal based upon failing the credit criteria; after querying this both with CPW and 02 and proving to them I have an exellent credit rating and unblemished history they refused on other grounds...? they have used every trick in the book not accept me as a new customer or pay cashbak??? Their loss... I would not recommend dealing with CPW or 02 as all staff are faceless robots who cannot answer a query which is off script. :( what a hassle!!

At the time I ordered PAYG mobile was eligible for £3 cashback. They declined for no good reason.
I also don't like the fact that Quidco dpn't send you an email message for declined cashback. They only send emails for positive news.

I purchased a Galaxy Ace on contract last year, CPW were offering £35 Cashback! Cashback was refused!!! On the same day several hours later my Husband also ordered a Galaxy Ace on the same deal on his Quidco account & as promised was awarded his £35! Aprox 3 weeks ago my Mum ordered the same contract & same phone, tracked at £35 & then refused! Come on Carphone Warehouse...this is NOT good enough! All rules were followed & no other referal site had been used so that excuse was invalid! Site now states Excludes the Galaxy Ace! This was NOT there when we ordered! Not Happy! Beware! Very Hit & Miss...2/3 Refused!

Ordered a contract upgrade via website iaw. the terms and conditions. The claim was declined after I raised a dispute. Not sure why but I think it was becuase the purchase on their website did not go through due to a fault at their end - I had to 'phone up to get the order made. This fault was not rectified as a friend had the same problem when ordering (not through Quidco) - the web order was not processed by Carphone Warehouse - in summary website didn't work so impossible to meet the Ts and Cs of the offer!!

I bought a 24month blackberry contract for my daughter which should have tracked at 45 pounds
Like many lies they make , ie. it will track at 5 pound;and then increase to 45pounds
mine tracked ok at 5 pounds and yes you guessed it only paid out 5 pounds
raised a claim but they said they had no record of me ever having a contract or having gone through quidco , claim got nowhere
clearly i had as they had paid me a paltry 5 pounds and i provided them with all my carphone warehouse contract details
sent e-mails direct to them but got standard generalised replies
DONT BUY A PHONE FROM THEM BECAUSE ITS THE CHEAPEST WITH CASHBACK AS IT APPEARS VERY FEW PEOPLE ACTUALLY GET IT .....

Bought at Ipad through them because of the £20 cashback but it got rejected. I went through the whole quidco support process but because the t+c's changed since my purchase, they will no longer honour it.

I purchased two iPhone 5 contracts within a week of each other from carphone warehouse with a cash back offer of £80
Initially both tracked at £35
6 weeks later the first purchase tracked at the correct amount of £80
Two weeks after tracking the £80 was confirmed and paid
The 2nd purchase is now tracking at £80 so I hope for that one to be paid by the end of the month
Overall I'm happy that I received my cash back as that was a big incentive for my purchases. It was a little slow tracking but payment in 8 weeks I guess is standard.
I hope others receive the same service I did. To be honest I was not expecting any money as I have read many negative reviews on quidco. I made sure I followed the terms and therefore received the full cash back amount.
Thanks carphone warehouse and Quidco I'm soon to be £180 better off. My holiday spending money ;)

Ordered my iphone 5 on a Sunday for next day delivery, expecting it on Tuesday. Called them on Monday afternoon as I had only had an email saying order confirmed and not that it was dispatched. They said all good and would arrive in the morning. They completely screwed up and didn't send it out, finally received it a few days later only to find that also in their screw up they hadn't activated the sim card, which they couldn't fix over the phone. Had to go to a store, get the phone cancelled and a new one issued. Complete waste of my time buying online and I should have just gone to the store in the first place.
If your contract gets cancelled and has to be reissued due to their screw up don't expect any cashback!!!

I wish I'd read the reviews first.
The only reason for buying via Carphone Warehouse was because of their £20 cashback on an iPad.
Cashback was tracked, and declined (as with others), a claim raised and declined. I have successfully claimed every other cashback via Quidco without issue.
This is clearly an effort to get people to buy via them and not pay out - the evidence is in the reviews.
I will never use Carphone Warehouse again, next time I will stick with Apple. Quidco need to dump this lot ASAP.

Like a number of recent reviewers, I bought an IPhone 5 upgrade through Carphonewarehouse. The cashback was declined and the claim refused stating that the terms and conditions were not met. I am limited in what I can say about this as when I previously tried the explain the details my Quidco review was rejected.
Quidco state that the retailer is not responsible for this, but I hope that Quidco can work with this retailer to improve the acceptance cashback and improve transparency of the terms and conditions. It would also be helpful if the retailer could provide more feedback to explain which particular terms and conditions are not met.
I would be very careful and as ever, don't let the cashback from any particular retailer sway you into making a purchase unless it's definitely the best deal without the cashback. There are a number of other mobile phone retailers on Quidco.

I hadn't read any of the reviews before making my purchase of an iPhone 5 for the cashback amount of £80. Luckily for me, apart from the problems I had with the phone going missing in the hands of the courier, the quidco/cashback side of things was great. I was paid in weeks of the service becoming active.
I've just purchased a 2nd iPhone 5 on the same deal (£80). It's currently tracked at £35 but I expect this to change before payment is made. Here's hoping for a 2nd bout of good luck - as it appears others are having none with cpw.

**AVOID YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED**
Tried to order iphone 5 with £120 cash back, order went through but received an e-mail with 10 minutes later saying i had to phone customer services to progress. The order was cancelled via the web.
I have cancelled the order all together CPW wanted me to do application over the telephone, so that they don't have to pay commission.

Selected the phone i wanted on the saturday with delivery on monday as my old phone had died come monday no phone left it till wednsday just to see if they would email or phone me to advise of any problems and nothing. Wednesday night called customer services who appologised for the delay and said they would reorder and i would have it by friday. No phone on friday and again i called their premium rate number to be told they have an issue with distribution and i would definately have the phone by the Monday...Guess what after 9 days since original order didnt receive my order and am definately not a fan of the company their customer service is appalling no update by phone call or email to advise they were having problems have now purchased my samsung from another company.

I purchased an ipad and the cashback initially tracked within 24 hours a few weeks later it was declined so raised a claim which has since been declined as well with the merchant claiming the purchase did not meet their terms and conditions. This is just an excuse for not paying out as i made sure that i did meet their terms and conditions and judging from other reviews i am not alone in thinking they should be removed from the quidco list.

I am certain when I made my purchase it was advertised that I would get £50 cashback but I have only received £35 (after 2 months wait). Given the other reviews I guess I can be thankful I got paid anything at all!
As far as the phone goes - I am already on my second handset and second SIM card but still have varying reception and lack of service and the phone always seems slow to respond to screen touches. Its a Sony Xperia U and I wouldn't recommend having one!

Ordered an iphone 5 from Carphone Warehouse online via Quidco. The order was originally accepted but then a few minutes later I received an email from them cancelling my order saying - If you would like to discuss this with our customer service team, please give us a call on 0870 087 0870
I called their customer service team on the number THEY ASKED ME TO CALL and complete my order over the phone in minutes. I asked about my Cashback and was told that because I completed my order over the phone they would not pay my cashback. Beware !!!!!

If you follow the rules and instructions stated on Quidco, they will pay out. I got paid right on time, got the phone I was after and made £50 in the process. I believe people who have not received cashback have purchased a phone/tablet that is not eligible for cashback. Please check this list before buying!

Tracker within minutes but at a different level however there was a warning when you linked to the site that stated it would do that, next day delivery and all smooth set up of the phone, got a good tariff and the cashback basically made the phone free. The correct amount registered within a month and the payment was confirmed and paid within 3 months which is exactly what it said on the tin !

Placed order for iPhone 5 contract on 31st December, it took a couple of days to arrive due to the bank holiday and as others have mentioned the packaging wasn't great, the phone is just put into a bag with no bubble wrap or any kind of protection so it does tend to get knocked about a bit in the courier's van resulting in the box being fairly dented on receipt. Everything worked straight out of the box with no problems. The purchase was tracked within a few hours at a lower rate of £35 and took approx 3 weeks to track on the correct rate of £100. Throughout this time I was rather anxious as it became apparent from the reviews that many people were having their cash back declined. However I am pleased to say that my cash back was confirmed on the 18th February - seven weeks exactly from the purchase date, Quidco then paid cash back into my account on the 21st February so despite worrying all in all I am very happy with the end result.

I had a similar experience to the previous iPhone 5 reviewer. CPW accepted my order but never sent me a confirmation email to say when the phone would be delivered. I rang them as advised on their website. I was told I failed the credit check and the guy then proceeded to attempt to sell me a different contract. I knew something was dodgy about this as I got my last contract with them and have never missed a bill so i visited my local store. The girl there told me there was nothing wrong with my credit check, just that the order hadn't gone through. I wrote an email to customer services to find out what was going on, and they called me back today claiming 'the order just hasn't gone through" (no further explanation even after I asked) and would they like them to put me through to sales I told them not to bother and just to cancel the order. I am going to try once more but I doubt I will have much luck and will have to take my business elsewhere.

Csshback tracked very quickly but never paid. Apparently hidden in the T&Cs the model was excluded! iphone was shown as an exclusion,on the main page but no others. Quidco need to display restictions clear as if it says cashback on all handsets excluding iphone you expect it covers all others!

I ordered the iPhone 5 with delivery to store. It took slightly longer than the next day they promise, but was still within a couple of days. Cashback has been paid after less than two months of my new contract as well. Very impressed.

Appreciate everyone has different experience and given CarPhoneWarehouse are a large retailer there will be good and bad ... I will pitch on for those whose experience has been good. iPhone5 order 4pm Thurs 21/12 and delivered Fri 22/12. Forgot to order a case/screen protector .. ordered for CPW again on Friday 22/12 delivered Saturday 23/12. Both deliveries free ... cannot moan at that performance. Phone as described, working out of the box with a "new" nbr so useable, my O2 account up & running on 23/12, my old nbr tfr'ed on 27/12. Received emails & txts statusing .. had no hiccups or issues. Cashback initially tracked at nominal amount (as indicated would be the case) and in 3 weeks was tracking at full amount ... cashback paid to Quidco and on to me in less than 6 weeks from purchase. Just wish it was this good for everyone else.

Update #2, £100 paid today (7/2/13). It tracked at £35 for a long while, presumably until first "proper" monthly bill had cleared.

A quick update, phone delivered about 1315 on Thur (20/12). Still tracking at £35, but Santa hasn't plugged the SIM in yet ;-) I expect to see that fixed.
The packaging wasn't very good, the shrink wrapped Apple box was just dropped into a plastic sealable bag with the nano-SIM pack. One corner of the shrink wrapped box therefore looked a little dog-eared as the courier said things were sliding around in the back of the van in the wet! The phone was fine inside the moulded box. CPW should use the sealable bags with bubble wrap inside, like Google did. Next day delivery was just that from once my card issuer authorised the transaction. Original review (19/12/12) below.

Just in case others are put off by the negative reviews (I nearly was), I placed an order yesterday morning (Tue) at 10:04, received a tracking confirmation from Quidco at 12:41 and an email was sent by CPW at 19:20 saying my credit card holder had declined the authorisation. I checked with my bank at 07:45 (Wed) , who put me through to their fraud team and performed a simple security check - they said they had a very high level of problems with mobile phone companies (not really the mobile phone companies' fault, but the criminals behind targetted scams). One short call with CPW just after 08:00 and the iphone5 is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. The cashback is currently tracking at £35, but I expect that to get fixed to £100 in due course.
At this point in time I think some folks need to take a step back and be a bit more rational. When the phone arrives, Distance Selling Regs mean I have 14 days to send it back if I'm not completely satsified, which should give ample time to sort out any tracking with the cashback. If CPW are really trying a bait and swtich operation (as some have implied) the Office Of Fair Trading would love to hear about it, they have been particularly critical of some shady internet retailers and sham offers - I'm sure Quidco would have no part in such goings on and will rightly help out. Quidco would be unable to continue to market offers if CPW was being disingenuous. As for the transactions being declined, I'm very glad that my bank is doing something about card-holder not present fraud (particularly as we bailed my bank out a few years ago) and there needs to be a little tradeoff between reasonable security and ease of transaction.
Of course I reserve the right to update my review if things go downhill from here... ;-)

Tired to order, they said there was an issue with credit check and declined it, I did my own search using equifax a week later and they hadn't even done the search! They clearly don't want to pay out on the cash back...
P.S. no issues with credit checks in the past and no late/missed payments ever.

Excellent item and service. Picked up iPhone in store two days after placing order. In store staff very accommodating. Cash back tracked originally at wrong amount but corrected after a couple of weeks. Cash back confirmed in about seven weeks.

excellent deal with the cashback, however the phone came without a sim card and i had to collect one from a local store then neither carphone warehouse OR vodafone call centres could agree how i activated the card, after a visit to a forum i discovered it could be activated on "my vodafone" account this duly done my phone was ready for use the next morning. Poor advice from carphone warehouse AND vodafone thank god for the power of the internet and joe bloggs :)

Very surprised with this retailer's cashback. I ordered iPhone 5 contract and received the cashback less than two months later. The cashback rate varies all the time (make sure you follow them) but the one I received was so good it would cover almost three months of my contract!

Bought this contract through carphone warehouse payment went through fine however when I did receive my phone as promised (I was sent an email to say they had received my order) I had to phone to inquire why, apparently the payment had not gone through but no one had phoned to let me know. This was sorted out whilst on the phone but I was not happy with this aspect of the service. Phone arrived well packaged. Cash back was initially tracked at £35 but this changed after a few weeks to the correct amount. I am pleased at how quickly this was tracked and paid. It's made a huge difference to the amount I paid for the iPhone 5. The website was easy to use, will defo use carphone warehouse in the future

Purchased Galaxy Tab 2 - however despite various claims disputing the cash back being declined, I have finally concluded no cash back will be paid. Carphone Warehouse have changed their terms & conditions since order placed - do not be fooled & go somewhere else where prices are just as competitive.

Ordered the iPhone 5 and was expecting £49 cashback (I checked their T&Cs and this was for the iPhone 5, SIM only contracts on Vodafone at £37pm). Didn't track automatically so raised a claim, now its been declined saying 'Did not meet terms and conditions set by merchant'.
No further details given. What a load of pap. No details on what terms or conditions were not met. Wouldn't bother doing business with Carphone warehouse again, I'd rather see them go the way of HMV.

I ordered the product to be delivered to my work address and specified that it should be delivered on a Monday, Instead they tried to deliver it on Saturday - Obviously nobody is in the office on a Saturday. They then did not deliver until the Tuesday - So 3 days late. The cash back was also rejected for some reason. I would not rely on them for cashback - seem to be very picky.

Ordering the phone caused the bank to place a hold payment hold on our bank account. So I had to complete the order via the Telephone.
Tracking was very quick, 2-3 hours.
After the above I still got the cashback to confirm, 7 weeks and 2 days it taken, hopefully the funds will arrive in the next payment run.
We shall see!

I placed an order for a new iPhone 5 contract on EE via Quidco to receive the £100 cashback being offered.
All in all, I placed 3 orders because CPW customer services kept informing me that my order had not passed internal checks and offered to put the sale through manually, which I declined. I have a pretty good credit rating which I check regularly, so I don't see any reason why I would be declined on this aspect, but they wouldn't tell me what was meant by "internal checks". On the 3rd attempt I received a call from customer services to confirm my address (hurrah I thought, everything is OK this time).
I received the phone a day later, but the cashback was declined on Quidco. Either there are some serious technical issues at CPW, or they really don't want to pay the cashback. Judging by my experience and the other reviews, it's probably a combination of both.

My order went through and was due to be delivered to my local store. When I went in to collect it, I was told that the order was in limbo and would be processed as a store order so that I could take a phone away with me. I didn't need to pay again, but needless to say the cashback declined. One of the criteria for declining is an altered order. However I didn't alter the order - Carphone Warehouse did. I have now put in a claim but did this by e mailing support and explaining, rather than using the standard process. They put in a claim for me and have the detail, I'm hoping that the honourable thing is done. My advice - go elsewhere.

Quidco tracking only shows £35 CashBack after the 24 months went through... Appealed and got told the way carphone warehouse's tracking will always show £35 and then when it comes to the confirmation stage they will adjust it to £100... That means we have to keep an eye on the final amount!! Too much hassles... Will see if they will change to £100 AUTOMATICALLY!

The deal my son wanted included unlimited data sor the iphone 5. I found a deal through carphone warehouse with the 3 network. £100 cash back, which covered the phone cost and good monthly unlimited allowances. So I placed an order. Got the instant email saying recieved order and then...nothing....phoned, was told that 3 system was overloaded. After a few days was told to cancel and to re do over phone! No way!! So re ordered. Again, nothing.... 3rd time, the same again . Each time was told that 3 system for credit checks was down and that the staff would try to refresh and push through...each time nothing and having spoken to 3 they said that after 3 days the order just gets cancelled.
One last ditch attempt after Christmas- yes! It's gone though and the I have my confirmation email!
So try again today if you had no luck before Xmas as the staff at CPW I spoke to told me that things are moving quicker now.
I would also like to say that some of the staff there were fantastic in trying their hardest to get my orders through, thanks Yasmin and Charles!
haven't got the iphone yet (!) but have got a tracking number for Yodel!

with confirmation email, tracked £50 within 2 hours all good!
Then i got the email there is a problem please call, on calling they told me i would have to do it over the
phone as my order has been deleted. Guess what! you will not get your £100 cash back!!!!!
so i cancelled and went with Phones4u who actually do want to give you your cash back..

It didnt track, I had to to it manually via quidco help service. After this I got a msg 2/3 months later telling me it was declined, no reason was given. I appealed and now I have finally been confirmed the cashback amount of £120 for a £7 per month contract. Cant complain of the end result.

Ordered yesterday and received confirmation email but nothing else. Phoned this morning to check it had been dispatched (due to no follow-up email). They'd misprocessed the order (when the fourth person I spoke to finally found it) despite my having phoned them when placing it to check I was doing it correctly). I was then told I couldn't have the Quidco cash back if they 'fixed' their "yes the system sometimes does that" mistake so I cancelled it and was dumped on a 5th person with no explanation in order to make a complaint. That person told me I would've got the cash back after all but can't now have it because the order's cancelled but I could go through the whole palava again (on a system that apparently isn't that reliable). Not likely. 2 HOURS on the phone and now I have to go through it all again. These aren't the only people offering iPhone cash back....suggest you use one of the others.

Got my phone very quickly instore collected. Tracked in around 1 hour £50 only but it does say it might track lower or higher until confirmation. Don't know how long it will take to get back the full £100 cash back but all in all a good service.
My iPhone 5 came scratched but I called them up next day and was told to go back instore and get it replaced there and then which I did with no issues and got a perfectly new one again. :)
Just worried how long it will take to get the full £100 cash back that's all.

I was nearly put off by some of the reviews on here but I thought i had nothing to lose by trying my luck ordering it online using Quidco and i had no problems with anything being cancelled. I ordered it on a monday I think and it turned up Wednesday so im very happy with that.
Like someone else has posted, its only saying £35 cashback being tracked but Im hoping once it gets paid to me, it will be £100 or I shall be contacting Quidco with my complaint :)

Very poor service!
The £100 cashback PAYM offer for an iPhone 5 was great. However, like the other reviews, they make every effort not to give you the contract you choose! I've had excuses from Customer Services as 'the order is lost', to 'the systems aren't working, try in a couple days', 'you'll have to re-order' and even 'there's to many orders, we can't cope with demand'. I've had to cancel the order (iPhone 5 32GB Black on Three) - and yes my credit rating is fine - and go to a 3Store to take the contract out. My first poor experience with Carphone Warehouse and Quidco. I would completely AVOID this offer, they were even trying to get me to cancel it and re-order over the phone (encouraging to loose the cashback).

Placed an order for a 64Gb iPhone 5 on 24 month contract. Received an email / text later in the day telling me that the order had been cancelled for reasons unexplained.
CPW tell me that the order passed the credit check, but failed their 'internal security checks' and that they can't tell me why - suggested I either go direct to the network or try again in 24 hours. I am really not going to try again in 24 hours...
I have been a CPW customer in the past, so the thing that has changed is the Quidco referral (I note from reviews that others have had the same experience). This process is supposed to work to generate new custom for vendors. What it has done is made me not want to use CPW, and also meant that my first experience of Quidco is a fail. Not good for either brand.
I suggest that if this is proposed as a long-term relationship, Quidco works more closely with CPW to ensure that orders can be completed.

I ordered the i phone 5 the tracking on cash back was only 1 hour wait i received an email from carphone warehouse after 1 day to say my order has been received and to wait for my tracking number so i know when to collect from store. I rang after 2 days as i had not had an email and was firmly told that my order has not been processed and was still open after the phone call i was told my prder was on the way!!
Surprise surprise a week later my phone had not arrived. I called the customer helpline again to be told the order was still open and it was being processed as a new contract and i ordered an upgrade < the woman on the phone without asking me then went on to cancel my order so I have had to start from scratch and order it again.
I ordered it again 2 days ago and so far still not had a tracking email !
If i receive it before the end of this week i will be very surprised !!!!

Ordered a new iphone 5 as an upgrade with £120 cashback. My new phone has been delivered and it's still not connected a week later, hopeless. Carphone warehouse have processed it as a new contract and I now have to go into a store and get it sorted. This means the incorrect cashback will be applied to my quidco account. I am not impressed.

Put through an order for collection two days later. The night before collection I got an email saying there was a problem with my credit check. Phoned up, told that o2 couldn't "find my address", which after four further calls we realised was because o2 had my address as '6/11' and carphone warehouse were using '11, 6'. Due to this issue, I was told I had to buy in store and forfeit my £100 cashback.
An order with phones4u was duly placed half an hour later.
Avoid, my orders were cancelled on three occasions

Had initially found a really good deal with a high cashback of £100. My order was tracked very quickly (only an hour or two), how ever a day later they sent me an email to say that my order didn't go though because I had failed their credit check. Thinking that this was strange as I have a very good credit rating. I went on to obtain my credit report to see what was wrong. Turns out that they didn't even attempt to obtain my credit rating as it would have been indicated in the report. Tried to take out the contract again thinking that I might have gotten my details wrong but was declined again. Tried another time thinking it was just the network declining me. This time I've not even heard anything back to acknowledge my order, so it's just sitting in limbo. What I believe they are trying to do is to decline your Quidco order the sell you one of their deals minus the cashback. Can't believe such a big reputable would do such a thing. Surely this is breach of trading standards. My girlfriend who try the same deal also has the same problem as me. Will not be using this merchant ever again. Beware everyone, don't take up a new deal over the phone when th order doesn't go through as you won't get your cashback!

Great value cashback amount considering the low value of the phone itself. I did collect in store so they at first turned down the cashback. I contacted quidco and they asked me to complete an appeal form which i did and after a few weeks the cashback cleared. Sorted!

I ordered an HTC OneX from CPW in march. The courier company that was used delivered it to my neighbour and did not bother to put a note through my door telling me. Needless to say, my daft as a brush neighbour forgot all about it and the parcel sat on their hall table for the next two weeks while I made numerous calls to CPW and the courier trying to sort it out. CPW then declined my cashback claim. I appealed via quidco and the appeal was upheld - but still no cashback.

Ordered 3 phones at 7.70, 10, and 12.50 per month contracts. Overall received £145 cashback that was paid into my account within 3 weeks of purchase date. Great service, delivery speed and cashback !

Great to buy from over the internet with very speedy delivery, variable service instore depending on which one you visit but absolutely lacking for follow up. Had an issue with a phone, went back to store and they said it would cost a minimum £45 to put right. The phone was only £60, dissapointed and probably would not buy from them again.

After being let down by Phone 4 U, (took order, no stock for over 3 weeks, but didn't say!) Carphone Warehouse were brilliant! Order 5.45pm, arrived next day! Better deal than anywhere else could offer for my daughters Blackberry!

Customer service was average, staff seemed rather pushy. I would reccomend searching between shops and providers as well as online. Find a phone deal you want then haggle direct with the provider.

cash back took a while to track and longer to track any amount but in the end - less than three weeks I'm rich I tell you!
cashback value essentially means I get 4 months free on my 7.50 contact. ps: xperia tipo is a cub amongst lions... and I absolutely love it

Great but had issues with tracking and then claim had to be raised so took about 3 months to finally receive. But all is well that ends well and this cashback deal definitely made me a CPW customer, whereas otherwise I wouldn't have been.
Will keep a look out for more deals of this nature in the future! Thank you quidco and CPW.

Really pleased with the upgrade service - got the same price plan as I was on before, but with a free iphone 4s and £55 cash back that was paid within 2 weeks. Brilliant!

Sim card arrived within 2 days. £120.00 Cash back paid within 8 weeks and the extra £32 Cheque from The Carphone Warehouse arrived within 6 weeks.
Really good as this makes me having to pay £50 for a 12 month sim only contract on O2 with 600 xnet mins + 300 o2 to o2 mins + unlimited texts & 500 mb Internet. I'm happy with the deal I received :-)

Have to say I am pleased and suprised at how quick this payment was confirmed, it only took 7 days and whilst it tracked at a lower rate, the correct rate of £50 is being paid. Well done carephone warehouse a bug thumbs up.

Cashback was tracked initially lower and was showing original amount after few days. I bit bullet and went ahead with T-Mobile Full Monty on £21 pm with £120 cashback and 3 months half rental. I was amazed to find out cashback confirmed within 40 day.
