First time ever i've had a declined even after putting in a claim they tell tell it's been credited to another company and not Quidco which is absolute bull**** seeing as I went through Quidco and properly too.
Avoid is my advice they will find a way to not pay out whoever has has been very very lucky. I will not use again, you have been warned!

Took out eSure care insurance through Quidco in March 2013. From reading the many negative reviews I had almost written off ever seeing my £25 cash back. However mid-April and it has been confirmed and soon to be paid into my account. Really pleased!

Oh dear, well this was my first ever decline after 5 years of every single purchase being a success! Therefore I'm more than sure I followed the correct procedures. I clearly purchased insurance through them otherwise i wouldn't have my motor certificate.
As per the other reviews, this is clearly a con and a scam to merely attract you to their website...
Because of this dishonesty I won't be renewing my insurance with them next year!

This was a tricky one.
I originally got a renewal notice, from another insurance company... as expected, well over the odds.
Went on to a comparison website, compare the market... got esure quote, which was one of the cheapest, and had everything I needed.
Went to Quidco, to check which one of the cheapest quotes was available. Then followed quidco and followed instructions. I note the responses from others and made sure I tried to avoid pitfalls.
Got cash back paid after 3 months.

Utter rubbish. I only went with them for the £35 cash back only for them to not track the transaction. They declined payment. Very unhappy.

Saw some of the reviews on here and in the end decided to still go with them as it was still the cheapest without the cashback - i got my cashback paid into my account today - 12 days after the policy started (15th March) - Difference for me maybe is i pay my car insurance in full and save up for the next years policy in a bank account, so no interest charged and it would appear no reason to refuse cashback

Read some rather scary reviews regarding eSure. My experience was the polar opposite. Cashback tracked & confirmed within 1 month. No problems at all in recommending it.

I would not use this company again. The amount of effort by myself and Quidco personnel to obtain cashback makes me very cross indeed.

I followed all of the procedures and rules and 6 months later they have now refused my cashback even when i disputed it.
I only used them because they were going to be cheaper after the cash back.
Steer well clear would be my advice!

Despite having taken out insurance with eSure via Quidco and following the procedure outlined, cashback was declined, raised a claim with all the relevant insurance details taken out by eSure and it was still declined - by all means use eSure if they are cheaper than other insurers, but don't think you will get cashback from them, if all the other reviews are anything to go by then most are declined

HAving done what I was asked cashback was not forthcoming so raised a claim oh what a surprise declined if I could score it 0 I would. Conned bigtime, wouldn't mind but still insured by them what a joke

There's definitely an issue with this retailer paying cashback at the moment - go elsewhere. I also followed the process and jumped through all the hoops, and they finally tell me 'another marketing channel has been credited with the sale' Now ,as far as I can recall, and this was 5 months ago now , I don't remember using any other site, and always clear my cookies regardless. Rubbish ! Well I won't be using esure again

Like the rapidly growing number of other people on here, my claim got declined, I had quidco support chase it and it got declined, i provided all the evidence of my valid policy and it still got declined. How can an insurance company claim not to have a record of the transaction to pay cash back against? They clearly just don't want to pay out and are taking advantage of us by being on quidco. Perhaps there should be a process by which bad paying companies should get removed from quidco?
If they are cheap enough on their own then fine, but don't rely on the cash back as a part of the total quote price.

Despite jumping through all of the necessary hoops, and then raising a claim, my transaction could apparently not be traced, and I will therefore not receive any cashback. I have been a Quidco user for several years, and always follow the instructions. This is a simple case of esure's tracking system not working.

Cashback could not be tracked, I provided policy number etc and for every other transaction on Quidco I have not had any issues. Think I will pay more attention to the reviews in future about whether the retailer actually pays a cashback or not. Won't be renewing with eSure next year.

First time cash back declined and no surprise it came from this insurer. Left them a few years ago due to terrible service so it really shouldn't be a shock that they can't trace my existing policy. Will stick with top cashback in future.
