The second consecutive year being let off by these cheats.
Break down service might be good.I don't know as I never needed them so far. But cash back offer is too good to be true and they never pay that amount. Last time (2011 policy) they had the same offer £50 for a rescue plus policy. Took more than 8 months to confirm and track £5. Raised a claim and got declined with no reasons given. As they quoted the cheapest in 2012 october, went with them again. Same offer of £50 cash back. Tracked the purchase. Only paid £5 when I raised a claim in 2013 May. Still awaiting an explanation which I don't expect to receive any way.
So,if you are after the cashback offer, better avoid them. I cannot comment on the service though.
I feel Quidco is taking a risk by being their affiliate.

Very easy site to navigate and the cover wasn't badly priced at approx £70 though after receiving £50 cashback its a real bargain.
Haven't had to call on their services yet and hopefully won't need to in the future, but, they are well rated.
Cashback payment took just over 4 months.

I purchased a years Green Flag cover in August 2012 for £48.76. It took a long time for the £50 cash back to come through (April 2013) but well worth the wait as they have actually ended up paying me in full meaning Green Flag paid me £1.24 to provide cover to my car for a year.

I was expecting to get £1 for getting a quotation from Green flag. Although I followed the links provided, my cashback claim has been rejected - no reason given. I didn't purchase the cover in the end as it was much more expensive for less cover than RAC, whom I went with.

Purchase qualifying for £50 cashback. After purchase (19/03/13) there was suppose to be banner showing up on my Home page within 24h for me to fill out requested information. Never happened!
Had to wait 3 days and then raise claim manually. Then Quidco says it puts it on hold as this particular retailer has some waiting period (???)
As it stands for today --> not happy, I dont even know if my cashback will be accepted, if anything change in the next few months I will update this review.
As for today --> Green Flag very poor be very cautious.
"Faster paying"? Can't have been very fast before then!

Took months to be paid for this, I think literally 5 months! I've also had cashback payments refused previously so beware if you opt for them. Very hit and miss, great when they pay, great service from them but lousy when they refuse cashback.

Purchased this breakdown service to get this deal on the last day of the cashback offer and the price was £66.78 for breakdown, I then received £1 for simply doing a search for this deal and then £50 cashback (took 6 months for this cashback to finally get confirmed) which meant it only cost £15.78 in the end which is an absolute bargain!

Cashback did not track, after finally tracking it stated that I had paid £0.00 for my policy. Despite providing my policy number the day after I purchased the policy, it took a further 3 months to track and now 7 months later it finally shows as confirmed. Overall poor, however the policy with cashback ended up being £15 so can't overly complain.

I bought the top level of breakdown cover from Grren Flag for £59. The cashback tracked quickly and at the correct amount (£50). Payment was slow and took over 5 months. I don't think this retailer should be classed as a 'faster paying' retailer.

Actual Green Flag service is fine if you don't expect roadside repairs and just need a tow home. For a company that will actually try and fix your car by the side of the road spend the extra money and go with RAC or AA.
Green Flag is a network of independent agents. All of whose aim is to tow you to their own garage where they can start milking your wallet. They've ZERO incentive to fix your car at the roadside.
If you have a trustworthy mechanic then they're basically useful as a towing service, nothing more.
Cashback tracking is woeful. It takes forever to validate your sale and there's no certainty you'll get close to the amount you're supposed to.
The website has a confusing lack of "back" and "amend" options.
All in all quite poor.

Cashback for a quote is paid very quickly but expect to wait 6 months for cashback on your policy - not what I would describe as "Faster Paying", a description that sets unrealistic expectations.
Having said that, the important thing is the service received and, as my husband was unfortunate enough to break down in the middle lane of a busy motorway and had to ring Green Flag in the summer, I can attest to how good that is. They were quick to get someone out to rescue him, the driver who brought him home was very helpful and courteous, and the policy turned out to be very good value as he was a long way from home and there were no excess mileage charges to pay as there are with some policies.
Recommended, but be patient as you await your cashback payment.

I only switched to Greenflag from the AA because of the Quidco cashback offer (my mother had been with Greenflag and once waited 2 hours for a mechanic to turn up), but instead of the cashback amount I was meant to receive for choosing one of their products I instead got £1. Brilliant - that'll pay for the phone call to the AA when I go back to them after the 12 months is up.

Having been caught out before when I lost the cash back on my new television cash back to Google! I cleared all my cookies/history etc even though I'd never visited the Green Flag Website before. Opted for the Recovery Plus policy purely because of the £50 cash back, this failed to track and I've had to raise a cash back claim. Having read the reviews I'm worried I've been lumbered with a £90 a policy I could get cheaper elsewhere.

I like many others decided to take out the green flag cover due to the cashback offer.
I was really happy to receive the £1 for getting the quote which i add i received really quickly.
It would seem though that once they had grabbed my business with both hands they are now keeping me waiting for the promised 'faster paying' cashback for taking the policy!! I thankfully haven't had the need to call them and use their services, but i will think again next year when choosing who i buy from! Shame on green flag for not keeping to their word, not impressed.

Bought Green Flag as opposed to a competitors product because of the amount of cashback and the fact they are faster paying. Normally, this means excellent speed but on this occasion a big let-down - cant see why there is a delay but from readng others reviews, not yet seen any positive comments about the cashback payment speed. When will quidco take away the faster paying icon and let us make the choice on what is a true reflection of their payment speed?

I bought the full Green Flag breakdown package in May. Quidco shows this as "tracked", that's it. It will have been 6 months in less than 2 weeks time. Companies using Quidco should really knuckle down and get their cashback sorted out a hell of a lot of quicker than they do. 6 months down the line and still nothing. I better get my cashback by the 16th November or won't be happy..... not had to call out Green Flag so far by the way (touchwood!), but there cashback payment time is diabolical : (

The products fine but I only purchased this particular cover due to the cashback offered and certainly wouldn't have spent what I spent on roadside recovery otherwise. I still haven't received the cashback owed to me and I'm now concerned that I won't be paid, which means I've purchased something I wouldn't ordinarily have purchased. If you're considering purchasing a recovery policy, I'd avoid this deal.

I bought a breakdown cover from green flag as it was mentioned that it's a faster paying dealer. But its been more than two months and no sign of a payment. It tracked ok but its definitely not faster paying.

Having been recommended to try QuidCo by a friend, I tested the waters by purchasing Green Flag breakdown cover on 6 November 2011 - almost a year ago. I have still yet to receive the cashback of £35.00 promised by QuidCo, having had my initial claim for cashback declined by Green Flag.
Either this system of cashbacks and incentives for purchasing products works or it doesn't. This halfway house of having to "claim" a cashback only for it to be declined, and the man hours wasted writing emails, filling in forms, tweeting about the lack of communication on the issue and then having the insult of a renewal reminder landing on your doorstep (yes QuidCo, it's been that long!) - it's not a good way of doing business frankly.
If Green Flag are an unreliable partner in your venture, stop selling their product. But given I purchased the product from Green Flag currently under the false pretence that I would get a cashback of £35.00, unless you want a test case with trading standards I'd appreciate it if you'd expedite my payment and anyone else who is waiting for Green Flag to sort themselves out.

thought i would go for green flag as its £50 cash back tracked within a day, still waiting for payment for 2 months. now they have changed it to cash back within 6 months how can this be a faster payment company?????

I brought Top Green Flag breakdown cover in May 2012 and I am still waiting for cashback in Oct 2012 that's 5 months When originally purchased the cashback payment speed stated was within 12 weeks, well I've double that and still no cashback!!
The cashback is looking doubtful at the moment, will be chasing up in 4 weeks time
Obtained £1 cash back for quote the next day.

Tracked and received payment for obtaining a quote the next day.
Very impressive, just a shame the quote was higher than the competitiors.

Quidco claim that Green Flag are a 'faster payment' merchant. Mine is 4 months old & still not confirmed.
However, quidco don't let you chase it up until it is 6 months old. That's not my idea of fast!
