Groupon offers & cashback

Good service, cashback tracked without issue, and was confirmed soon thereafter. Have used it a few times now, and have had no issues.

Cash back tracked almost immediately and paid out in approx 2 month! Just wish I remembered to use quidco every time I buy on Groupon!

Great offers and savings on a variety of goods. Tracking and confirmation does take quite a while but the savings are significant anyway.

I buy the majority of presents from Groupon and am always delighted at the choices. Most recently my sister-in law enjoyed a £60 facial. I paid £19 for the voucher. The UK breaks are also great value. I usually check prices on comparison sites and Groupon value is always best. Groupon can become addictive!!!

Within days of the offer closing the same deal was offered for £30 less so won't be going back there again

Groupon paid the cash back on time for the purchase that I had made. Tracking with Quidco gave me further discount on the already much lower price.

I purchased a Fitbit One via Groupon and saved around £25 on the Amazon price. The 5% cashback added to the already decent discount and the transaction tracked and was paid quickly (within 6 weeks).

The purchase was tracked almost instantly with the cashback ready within a month. Very happy with the retailer. The cashback rate could have been higher (I wish!) but in fact any deal on Groupon is a massive discount by itself so not complaining.

People are often critical of Groupon and things going wrong with deals, but so far so good for us. Have picked up some great hotel stays, restaurant vouchers (very handy since we have 4 kids) and other products. In addition, the one time there was an issue (me not reading the deal properly) we got a refund very quickly. Also, every time have got the cashback here, which helps make the deals even better!

As above really, I have bought a number of things from Groupon and never had any problems! Well done Groupon! Definitely worthwhile doing especially if you are a buying a big item, for example, I bought a 3 and 2 seater leather sofas so the 5% cashback was very welcome.

First clsss at tracking speed and accuracy. Product delivered speedily and accurately. Very pleased with photobook quality. Have used again as a result and would recommend.

I have had several various offers from Groupon. All have been a bargain. When I had a problem with one of the items I bought I had excellent customer service & a replacement was sent out straight away. I can't fault them.

Great getting special prices for services/products and then getting money back as well, brilliant. Very impressed with groupon and quidco.

Really slow in paying out - I am still waiting for cashback from an august purchase! Quidco do not seem to chase them up enough, if at all! Really very very poor service!

I wasn´rt expecting miracles from Groupon but good to get paid eventually with no hassle or cliams needed to be raised

I admit not all deals are good ones but the prices are set by the seller, Groupon is just the middle man. I have used Groupon for quite a while, have bought around 30 offers 1 bad experience which was the seller (Urshu, don't touch with a barge pole!) not Groupon themselves. Contacted Groupon who sorted it all out very quickly! Excellent customer services. I have no hesitation in using them regularly

Groupon certainly have excellent offers occasionally but the offer is often lost in flowery, trivial words which only lead to a loss of certainty about what you are actually buying. They lack precision in their descriptions and customers are therefore reluctant to commit as they are unsure what is being bought. Even after buying it is only clear what you have bought with careful reading of the small print. There should be no need for detailed reading to understand what has been bought as it should be staring you right in the face. Their staff do not fully understand the workings of their system and this provides more frustration. I had trouble buying an offer as I could not remember my verified by Visa password so I was locked out of the offer. The agent told me the system would clear in and hour - no it was not an hour as it took to the next day before I could try again. If you are lucky enough to buy a clearly described offer then you will not need to deal with Groupon on a personal level but be careful to read what you are committing to before buying.

I've used groupon about 30 times in the last year to buy things I didn't need or want. After buying a very poorly advertised holiday mentioned "for two" about a dozen times on the page (it was actually for one, but they hid this in an ambiguous sentence in the small print) they refused to refund me £500 as the 7 days refund period had passed. Most normal people have to wait this long to have their holiday approved and find someone to feed the cat. But no, two angry phone calls later I'm awarded with £500 of groupon credit, with just a year to use it. Even Tesco clubcard gives you longer to spend a fiver! So, lots of frivolous shopping later I started looking into which of these deals were actually deals. I've seen £299 to £89 on a food processor, which sounds great until you go to the website and note they sell it for £119. Not quite the saving you thought. We've bought vouchers for restaurants where upon turning up, realised that 90% of the meals are priced the same as the voucher cost, unless you order prawns. I've bought a case of wine, to then discover I've signed up to a £25 a month contract for more wine! Having said that, I have found huge discounts on spa days and cleaning services etc. But my advice to everyone is ALLWAYS check out the seller and find out what it REALLY nornally costs, and ALLWAYS read the small print thoroughly. Very very thoroughly. Good luck!
