I ordered a laptop for my son and was expecting £51 cashback. For some unknown reason my cashback was declined and the claim was closed without any explanation.
I am extremely disappointed as it was a large amount of money and I feel HP are not playing fair. They clearly have all my details and they just refused the cashback.
I have had to submit a claim and gave them everything from order number, e mail addresses etc.
Quidco have done some work with the retailer and I am awaiting what happens next.

I made three purchases, two of which were declined.
One of these has now been accepted after I raised a claim.
The claim for the final purchase has been declined as HP cannot find my purchase based on the information I provided, despite having given all the details I was asked for. I have asked Quidco to look into it so we will see what happens.
I like HP products. Delivery was excellent. Prices are good.
Shame they have to taint my experience of dealing with them.
Cannot help feeling disappointed.

Cashback declined as they cannot trace purchase even though they have order number, invoice number and payment. Go elsewhere if you actually want to receive cashback.

As most people have said, HP cashback rarely tracks properly. However, after putting in a claim with quidco, HP has confirmed my purchase and paid me the cashback and I have received it within the 4 months that it does state on under the payment speeds. As usual with HP, the laptop is of great quality and lives up to its expectations. I had free next day delivery as well (ordered on boxing day and had it the day after). I have nothing bad to say about HP.

Excellent service provided. I bought the laptop package with a discount and the cash-back rate was simply awesome. Cash back tracked immediately and i was glad i made the purchase. The only flaw is that the payment takes quiet a long time. I have to wait 7 months now before the cash-back is confirmed. Apart from that, every other thing went smoothly.

Don't bother buying from HP if you want cashback. We bought a laptop in October 2012 and still have not received the cashback. It is already April 2013...
If it wasn't for the cashback, we probably wouldn't have shopped with them as their website is pretty clunky. It'll probably be October 2013 before we get the cashback!!

As others have already said: treat cashback as unexpected surprise.
Bought expensive laptop in December when they had 15% cashback
Purchase tracked quickly within a day or two however at amount of only 12%.
Broken promise then but hey-ho it is only added bonus.
However regardless if it is 15% or 12% "on paper" it is only 0% in reality as long as it is not paid (it's not even confirmed - only tracked).
And what they say in purchase confirmation email is irrelevant - I bought my laptop on Thursday and email said about it being produced the following week only for courier to turned up at my home on Saturday morning. Nice surprise but "unplanned" one.

I didn't make the purchase of a HP laptop for the cashback so was just looking at it like an added bonus but over 4 months later still no sign of the payment. If you are relying on the cashback don't bother you will be wating a long time.

I know they say the tracking and payment takes on average 5months, I'm on month 6 and haven't heard anything yet. This was after endless problems making the order in the first place. Not happy.

I ordered a laptop for my son and was expecting £40 cashback. The delivery date kept getting moved back and so he started college without the laptop he needed. However, once it arrived he was very pleased with it. For some unknown reason my cashback was declined and the claim was closed without any explanation. I am extremely disappointed as it was a large amount of money and I have never had cashback declined from anyone else before. Definately don't use if the cashback is important to you!

Ordered a new printer on Sunday, delivered on Tuesday in perfect condition. Great price for a great product with free next day delivery. And cashbask! Can't complain.
Cashback tracked but I know I'll have to wait about 6 months for it to be paid.

My experience with HP has been little short of appalling. They agree a delivery date, and then change it without informing you. They cancel orders for no reason. Then deliver after a cancellation. You then have to raise another order, which guess what then gets bounced. When you get through to the customer service on the phone they are very police unfortunately completely ineffective it appears. And thats when you get through I have better things to do with my life than hold on waiting for my call which of course is important to them to be answered!
All in all, 4 orders with HP all then rejected. So far 2 laptops. Ive no clue which cashback I should be expecting however there should be at least 2!

The item was a laptop and to be honest with the cashback and the code that someone kindly put on hotukdeals made it really good value. The only thing is with a lot of companies paying very quickly, you have to have a bit of patience with these guys.

Bought a very competitively priced laptop from HP, great quality product and I am happy with everything so far. Item was well packed and received next day without any additional costs. I have bought from HP previously and after my last experience I would definitely buy from them again.

Delivery was fast. I've had the laptop now for almost 8 months and it's been spot on. HP are a great company to do business with, and their products are excellent. Cashback took several months but that seems to be the norm.

The original purchase was made almost 9 months ago and cashback has only just been issued. If I had of known it would take this long then I might would not have let the cashback offer determine my purchase. This was not a good experience of cashback sites, and even worse as it was my first. I was expecting a much quicker turnaround based on the speed it took to track and the quoted average pay period (cashbacks on HP purchases seem to be significantly slower).
I am unsure if the delay was on the part of the retailer or Quidco, even when I asked for the cause of the delay I was not informed (although to be fair, I was told better news). I did like the fact that I was contacted by Quidco to apologise for the delay and that it was being chased up.

Failed to deliver the goods twice after waiting in for two days. Couldn't find my order, item went out of stock, problems with delivery (the problem is it never arrived). Would buy HP laptop again but not from HP website.

As far as Cashback is concerned, my prime requirement is not speed of payment, but rather that the retailer honours its "promise". HP has done that - Well Done. The HP product is excellent quality, performance is good, and overall it has exceeded my expectations. So I can heartily recommend HP.

It was April this year when the transaction went through and cash back is taking ages to be paid. The laptops themselves are ok, altho had a few faulty ones, luck of the draw I guess.
Cashback does take ages to actually be paid, when compared to viking, dell and other retailers HP are very poor.

I've been waiting 6 months for my cash back on this. I bought my laptop from HP because of the cash back offer and now they are delaying paying back. The only reason It's got one star is it's impossible to give 0.
Other than the cash back situation, the delivery speed, product service and other aspects have been good.
Why advertise a cash back offer if you're not going to pay up?

I have bought from Hewlett Packard twice now. The delivery of the laptops were within a reasonable timescale but not superfast, and I had an issue with the delivery of one of my products and their customer service Rep was a joke when trying to sort out the problem for me and certainly could have done with a bit more training in the customer service department.
I would not commend the company if you are expecting the cashback within a reasonable time scale. The cashback for my first purchase I made took 12 months to be paid in to my Quidco account which is not acceptable. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and made another purchase in April 2012, unfortunately it is now November 2012 and there is still no sign of the cashback. Surprised that they are still allowed to advertise cashback on Quidco to be honest and I will never make another purchase from them in the future.

Think quidco are being extremely slow at the moment, am also waiting for an AA transaction that went through at the same time to be confirmed, pretty poor service quidco.

Transaction tracked very quickly on a laptop purchase in April 2012, but been waiting nearly 6 months and no sign of cashback.
What possible reason could there be for it to take so long? It's ridiculous!
