After waiting over five months to hear back, they refused cashback because "commission has been payed elsewhere". Pathetic from Microsoft.

Waited 5 months, then refused cashback. Due to it being paid to someone else. With no option but to accept the decision unless I pay for premium support. Jog on. FYI my browser clears cookies when closed and i only had this site open when placing my order. So the reasons given are invalid. My first and last use of this site. FAIL.

what happens when you you upgrade your operating system from Windows 7 to windows 8? it wipes your harddrive clean for a clean install & in the process it clears all your cookies! well done quidco/Microsoft, you really are an intelligent lot aren't you?

Bought windows 8 from Microsoft. Initially nothing came back and didn't have any cash back, but after raising the query with Quidco, Microsoft did respond. Maybe not the best rate of cash back and best speed for payment. But I would say that they are good, respond in decent time and give the cash back. Full marks for that.

But just a note, this is not a store owed by Microsoft itself. It is a third party company. Also make sure you read the terms and conditions regarding returns. However, overall the customer service was reasonable.
