Orange offered £120 cashback on new contracts including the S4 - they then emailed me 2 days later (AFTER the cashback offer had finished) and told me to call them - only to be told they were sorry but the application didn't come through and I had to start again. On mentioning the cashback they said they can't offer it. WASTE OF TIME!!

Beware - my cash-back has been declined as being credited to another channel (as other reviewers have noted). I completed the whole process on Oranges website in-line with terms set out, take your chances but dont bank on cashback from orange and note that someone else is getting rich on your money!.
The only reason i can think this may have occurred is because I transferred in my number (not prohibited in the terms) and this was after I had the SIM and had activated it and I had contacted Orange directly so this (another channel) is absolute rubbish as it could not have been Oranges after sales team who got credit surely this is wrong! Quidco knocked back my review because I said they should ban bad companies. I still think that bad companies like orange should be flagged as such. I have removed the text that offended Quidco so hopefully this review will be published. I have taken 3 times to write something - this is how much you should consider using orange for cashback.
Still waiting for £140 cashback almost a YEAR later!!! A waste of time.

I ordered 2 phones, one in May 2012 and one in June 2012 and cashback tracked almost immediately BUT I have still not had cashback. Orange have declined my claim but there is no reason why they should have done this. I wouldn't bother with them if you want cashback to be guaranteed, I will not use Orange again after this 24 month contract ends.

Cashback was declined as after I ordered a sim only 12 month plan, it said, we are checking your application and they wanted id proof etc. I finally got the sim, but in my cashback claim it said that sale was approved through another marketing channel. It is not my fault, if they wanted more info to approve the sale online even through I was already an orange customer. Loyalty not rewarded ! They DON'T PAY OUT- Avoid!

Seemed like an excellent deal £60 cashback on SIMO contract. Cashback claim declined. Declined cashback query raised and declined again saying cashback awarded to another company - I'd certainly like to know who got the money then as I clear my cookies regularly! Would not have gone for this deal if the cashback hadn't been offered so feel conned especially having read some of the other reviews. Orange have definitely gone down in my estimations. Will not be going with Orange again in a hurry :-(

My first review was declined for publication. Apparently it was defamatory!
I did state in that review that I invited Orange to sue me if there was anything with which they disagreed.
How can I call something "fraud" without actually using the word?
Essentially my cashback claim was declined despite it being performed by the book, all cookies cleared before hand. And when I made the attempt to query reason why, Orange then decline to accept the query.
So, empty promises and no cashback.
Avoid Orange through Quidco. You're likely to be disappointed.

Cleared cookies before purchasing, so the only referrer was Quidco. However, Quidco didn't track it, and then after lodging a cashback claim, this was denied with the following reason: "Another marketing channel was credited with sale". I can't find out *who* this was paid to, so Quidco/Orange won't take it any further.
This was for £60 cashback on a £7/month Panther 12 month SIMO deal, so worked out at £2/month after cashback - a total cost of £24 for 12 months. Now I have to explain to my mother she'll have to fork out an extra £60 to get the deal that was advertised.
Contract was started from the day the SIM card was purchased, although I couldn't use it until I received it several days later, and was also charged an additional charge on the first statement that neither Orange won't account for.
Bottom line: If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is.

I was taking out a 12 month Sim only deal for £10.50 per month. I cleared all my cookies, it tracked quickly and was completely wholly online.
It was declined a few weeks later and I raised a claim. This was also declined saying, 'Another marketing channel was credited with sale'.
I have done everything right and this is the first time in 6 years I've had a claim declined. Don't order this because of the cashback, even if you do everything correctly there is a still a good chance you won't receive the money.
'Declined'!?! It's becoming a common story

The motivation for writing my first review is annoyance with Orange. Obviously I chose Orange over any other provider because I thought a £7 SIM with £60 cashback was a great deal. I went through the usual extra careful process to ensure my claim tracked and it did. Great! But then Orange later declined the claim and, in response to Quidco's efforts, said that 'another marketing channel was credited with sale'!?! 100% lie but what can you do? From reading other reviews for a variety of retailers, this seems to be a growing issue - entice people in with a great cashback offer and then decline it for a bogus reason.

I have been trying to get a SIM only deal with orange for the past week (25 Mar to 1 April 2013). I have been with Orange for 12 years. Every time (about 12 attempts over a week) I go through Quidco to the orange site, complete all my details I get a "we are experiencing technical difficulties, please call us on 08 blah-blah-blah" I am certain that if I go that route, I will probably lose the Quidco benefit. I have therefore ditched all attempts and gone for a SIM only deal with Vodafone instead. If you want my repeat business Orange (Sorry, EE) you need to pull your socks up - it's shoddy, downright shoddy.

Do not use absolutely discussing and complete fraud, orange should not be allowed to promote as they do not commit to the offer. I took out a contract for 12 months and should have received 80quid cash back but they declined the claim saying that I didn't complete the sale online. I did except right at the end they say thankyou for your purchase we just need to contact you by phone to confirm all the details, they then call to confirm your name and address. They then say that you haven't completed online and so decline the cash back. I am not only disgusted with orange but also quidco and will not be renewing my contract which I have been tricked into when the contract ends.

Having read the reviews, I was careful to delete my cookies before ordering so my order would track with Quidco. I got a message to contact Orange before they could complete the order. I did not contact them by phone as it would invalidate my cashback due to not being fully completed on line. I e-mailed their customer service department to find out what the problem was but they did not respond. About an hour after that, my order came through as complete and was showing as tracked in my Quidco account. I have now been told by Quidco that Orange have paid the fee to another merchant. This is ridiculous as my order tracked, I didn't have to submit a missing cashback claim. It seems that Orange cannot be trusted and Quidco need to do something about this as the non payment situation appears to be all too common.

I went on the Orange site and found a fantastic price for the Samsung galaxy s3 mini. £15.50p/m on the dolphin 20.50 contract with free phone. Cashback should have been £70 but tracked at £80. 2 weeks later and I have £100 cashback in my bank account! This brings the contract down to the equivalent of £11.33p/m. Wow lol. Phone arrived next day. Only problem was the 1p delivery charge for the phone which at first my bank declined as it appeared fraudulent. A quick phone call sorted that out.

took out a sim only deal last year only because they offered £135 cashback. never got it, took a year to decline the payment. quidco are chasing but I don't hold out much hope, Orange have also increased the tariff to add insult to injury. will go back to vodafone once contract is finished.

The cashback doesnt apply until you activate the sim but when i called to activate they put me on a more expensive plan and then refused the cashback. Quidco chased it up and i have now been paid. Thanks

Do not touch with a barge pole, price increase a month after we signed up. Cash back declined due to not finished in full online. They stopped the order phoned for a security question and as such not all completed on line. sadly tied in this company. Will move away from them ASAP. before you buy try other sites, better cheaper deals and service can't be any worse

ordered monthly sim with £50 cashback promise. Phone arrived next day but as it was a present did no activate it for 2+ weeks, this may have been ther reason Ornange declined cashback? Quidco appeal process went slowly but they kept at it thorugh 2 cylces of declined. I was kept informed and Quidco agents persistance paid off many months later. Bad orange reliability, good Quidco agents!

Tracked pretty quickly but request was decline. Orange stated firstly that was not completed on line which is was (apart from activation which orange require you to call so bit of a loop trap there if thats why declined)
I requested claim reopened then Orange asked for copies of my bill (which they produce but obviously dont have copies off!!!!) which i sent, they have now declined stating that cash back was paid elsewhere.
Seeing as how i had just rebuilt my pc and this was the first transaciton i completed on it then i have no idea how this was the case.
On the service they provide reception isnt that great although 3g network is good. However the cashback was one of the main reason i took the contract but they have waited till well after i can cancel my contract before denying my claim..
Just avoid in future!

£80 cashback (Sim only) originally tracked on Orange Panther deal of £15.50 reduced to £10.50.
After two months wait the cashback was declined. Orange stated that the deal was not wholly completed online. The only conclusion I can come to is that after you receive the Sim you are asked to phone orange to activate it. This effectively negates the deal.
Be warned you can end up stuck on a 12 month contract because Orange are not transparent in their customer relations since they do not provide evidence of where the transaction breached the Quidco protocol.

very pleased with purchase, service & delivery - the only negative was the time to get registered - went on to website as said, kept say was activated,nowhere did it say about registering too ! Long wait on phone, message told me to use internet as was busy but couldnt - when got through on phone, finally, they initially said was ready to use but in fact was not registered ! very helpful staff but waste of time.

really surprised by the speed of the payment - just over 4 weeks.
moving from pay as you go to this contract, with the credit of the PAYG, phone fund and this credit, we have to pay about £40 for the whole years contract with 600 minutes.
shame the sign up was not this smooth:
SIM activation went screwy which took 7 days to fix. meanwhile my number which I'd ported over went into limbo so i had two SIMs, neither worked for almost a week!
Atrocious customer service from the far east and i spent almost 5 hours on the phone to them over the week.

This purchase tracked fairly quickly. Phone arrived a couple of days later but was an absolute nightmare to get activated. One week, multiple tweets, IMs and calls later and the service was finally on and old number ported.
Cashback was confirmed in 2 weeks and due to be paid in the next payment run. All before the first bill has even been paid!
However, have a second seperate purchase with this retailer which still hasn't tracked and have had to raise a claim. 45 day wait to get that one sorted out.

I order a 'SIM only' contract with Orange through Quidco. Orange have refused to pay my cashback as they state it was not completed 'online'.
Every part of this order/purchase was completed online with no interaction with any Orange customer service. I also have proof of this but Quidco/Orange still refused to pay cashback.
This is the first time in 5 years of using Quidco where I have been declined payment. Very disappointed!

Ordered 'SIM only 12 month contract' and received confirmation the SIM had been dispatched on 31/01/13 and that I would have it within a week. Still not received the SIM as of 10/02/13 although have had a letter telling me my first bill for the contract was 05/02/13. Contacting customer services proved to be virtually impossible and then, when finally achieved, they were appallingly unhelpful/impotent. Their customer services e-mail (Customer.services@ee.co.uk) is down; apparently with server issues. That may be worth noting for anyone considering Orange e-mail. Whilst the offer via Quidco was attractive, in practice it has proven to be a nightmare.

Got a excellent SIM only deal, tracked a day or two later then was rejected. Apparently i did not complete the transaction fully online through Quidco (rubbish). Raised a claim which was declined for the previos reason, responded back to Quidco and had to provide my most recent bill in PDF format which i did and guess what? I'm still waiting for a decision so faster paying......well lets just say i'm still waiting from October/November time

some people would appear to have had problems but I can say I have had no major problems, cashback was paid within 28 days, can't fault the payment service, I had an initial problems and orange they credited me with £ 10 for the inconvenience ( phone sent non activated) so all in all a sound transaction.

First time through Quidco and given that the purchase was on 1st October, taking until 18th Jan seemed a long time to wait to have the claim for payment agreed. Caused concern along the journey albeit the Quidco comms were clear on claim raised etc - to be honest would have thought that Orange would have got this more streamlined and swifter to drive customer satisfaction. Happy with end result - just took over 4 months !

Terrible service from Orange. Cashback has tracked from April but still no signs of payment having been refused in July for unknown reason. I wish I'd read these reviews as Orange obviously doesn't play fair and it's sad that Quidco don't boot them off for it. It lets Quidco members down. I'm leaving Orange as soon as I can and won't bother going through Quidco again for a mobile phone - it limits your choice and you don't get what you're given. 0 out of 10 for Quidco and Orange.

Ordered on line in August through Quidco with £50 cashback. Screen froze after clicking confirm order. Left it 24hrs and used live email support of which they confirmed the order had gone through. Was told should receive email confirmation within 48 hours. After 7 days, no email so used online live help again and again was told order had been successful and I should receive sim within 7 days. The first bill arrived before the sim so contacted them to explain I had not received the sim yet so how can they bill me for it and was told to contact them when the sim arrived and they would credit my account to the day I received the sim. The sim finally arrived 3 weeks after the order so notified Orange to change my bill start date as instructed. Had to phone again after receiving my second bill as it had not been done. Then cashback was declined. Have appealed but as of today 17/1/13, still not confirmed I will get cashback. Reading other reviews, it appears I am not alone so I can only assume their cashback claims could be described as fraudulent. This order with them has been messed up from the start and nothing, other than there bills being generated on time, surprise surprise, has been done correctly. It has caused me so much of a headache I will not be using Orange again and will not recommend them any more to anyone. Pitiful.

Bought contract phone august 2012. In october 2012 they declined my £80 cashback saying i had returned the handset and cancelled contract. Obviously i have not!!! Now january 2013 and awaiting comback of appeal. I have even sent them 3 months phone bills showing i have not cancelled contract. Now i am locked in for a24mth contract. Very poor from orange. This has also happened to 3 of my friends but they didnt write a review. Very poor.

Refused cashback claim as it was not entirely completed online. At the final page of the online order process a message came up that said to expect a phone call within 48 hours. Apparently that means i didn't complete it entirely online! I'm not sure why there was a need for them to phone me to complete the order, the person on the phone just confirmed delivery of the iphone5 was going to be delayed. It was not my doing, i tried to make the purchase online in good faith. Orange you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Pleasantly surprised with the transaction. Purchase tracked within the hour and confirmed to paid within 1 month.
Great deal on a SIM only contract and delivery of the SIM was quick. The only downside is that it was a bit of a mess to get the SIM activated. Customer services couldn't seem to find the account or contract initially and took several calls to get everything setup.
Once the account was activated, PAC and number port from previous supplier was done quickly and with no hassle. Coverage from the combined Everything Everywhere network seems so far to be much better than both Vodafone and O2 with consistent high speed 3G coverage.
Shockingly poor company......and now I'm stuck with them for 11 more months

Cashback on 12 month sim-only tracked straightaway at £80....then declined as soon as I was locked into the contract. My first appeal has been declined, but I'll be taking it further.
I won't go into too much detail but I've had numerous other problems with every stage of this purchase (and I've had numerous contract phones over the years so it's not like it's anything new to me). The staff are mostly helpful but it seems to me that there is some kind of inherent deficiency with the Orange infrastructure as every time you speak to them "everything appears fine" on their system, but you still have to phone to "bump" it along, and I suspect that's a deliberate ploy to allow them to claim that the order was not completed online and avoid paying cashback. Whatever the case, as soon as my contract expires I'm going elsewhere.

Tracked reasonably quickly back in August, then declined as I had cancelled or returned the 'product', which was a 12 month SIM only tariff and ive still got it!! Quidco on the case, but we'll see....

I need to wait for near 2 years to get my cashback. I nearly forget it and just find it when I do a random check on my account to see what cashback is still pending and send a quidcare message to quidco to get my cashback. Be careful, it's a really slow cashback retailer.

I had to take out a cashback claim as item did not track. Contacted quidcare on three occasions to hasten confirmation of cashback from a "faster" paying retailer. Orange's average time for paying cashback after a claim has been put to them is 4 months. I have just had my cashback confirmed just short of 7 months after taking out my sim contract with Orange in early June. Ordered one for a friend at the same time and there were no issues. Cashback tracked and confirmed in stated time. I guess sometimes you will have to be patient! The quidcare team gave good support. They email you within 24 hours to reply to your enquiry. They did state to me that my cashback should be confirmed within the next 14 days. 27 days later and one final email to quidcare, cashback confirmed.

iv been waiting 7 months now, two of which iv had a dispute open with quidco about this. All quidco keep saying is they are working with orange but no evidence of this being resolved.
on the quidco stats it says:

100% paid within 60 days
This i not the case as mine and by the looks of it many others have tracked stright away but then have been left high and dry. Feel very let down by quidco on this one.

Difficult one to mark, and a big BEWARE. My initial thought was that the cash back offer was a big con, as I could not complete on line and had to phone Orange direct. I my case they claimed this to be a credit check issue. With a daughter on my case I had to complete the purchase over the phone, fully aware that I would not get my cash back. ...and guess what, when processing my order on the phone my credit rating was not an issue!
After completing the deal I decided to pursue my quest for fair play by contacting Orange's customer service team. After a few calls I managed to get past their first line of defence and speak with a senior manager who was empowered to make a decision. He agreed to credit my phone account for the same amount as the cash back I would have received had I been able to complete the purchase through Quidco. Result!
If you experience the same problem then remember, any deal completed over the phone will not register through Quidco. But don't give up all hope. Push to speak to a senior member of their customer services team. In the end I saw Orange and not red!

I went for a special offer of £80 cashback with a £10.50 12-month sim. Was sceptical after seeing mixed reviews and knowing how tight some of the bigger companies can be with large amounts of cashback. Placed my order and it tracked within a couple of hours though. Was surprised at how quickly it went to confirmed and now, 3 weeks later, I've just had the money transferred to my bank account. Really happy.
My only criticism (and this is of Orange and not Quidco) is that the SIM took an absolute age to arrive. Luckily I wasn't in a hurry but if you were I could see this being an issue.

I was apprehensive with the previous reviews on here. But for me everything was smooth as silk.
I did the £80 cashback 12 month SIM only deal. The transaction tracked in just a few hours. Just over 1 week later the money was confirmed and I've just been paid today. It took a little over two weeks from start to finish. Very impressed. I now have 12 months of mobile service for just £46 (£3.83 a month).
Took a few days for the SIM to arrive, but my number ported fine and so far the service seems fine too.
Orange are a disgrace - refused cashback! Avoid!!!

I had taken out an orange contract with the incentive being cashback of £100 after 3 months.
My cashback was automatically declined and the first attempt at appealing this has also been declined.
I've now raised another appeal and i can say that i won't be holding my breath for a positive outcome (for me).
If i were able to, i'd cancel my contract as the service is rotten and it was only the cashback offer that attracted me back!!

Purchased an Orange Sim only contract (£10.50 a month), tracked within hours or the purchase. Surprised and pleased after only a couple of weeks that it is now confirmed and the £80 is on its way to my bank account. Setting up the contract was easy enough, one quick phone call to Orange to activate the SIM. Recommended.

I saw the offer which was better than their competitors, which was a major plus. However it took around 3/4 months to track, and just now after 6 months it has been confirmed. Although the timing was awful I still feel the deal was, just about, worth the wait.

I had purchased Orange 12 month £10.50 monthly contract. It was clearly written cashback amount for this purchased was £50. But I have been paid only £20. I have claimed my remaining amount but they declined. So they couldn't keep their commitment. It is really bad!

Purchased a sim-only contract for iPhone. Ordered the micro-sim & bought the phone. Very poor customer service-Took ages to set up. Claim did not track. When raised, Quidco did not deal with my claim properly and closed the claim, reason unknown. I had to point this out to them that this was unfair. They finally submitted the claim, which has now been declined. Why Orange get away with paying some not others?

The promotional offer from Orange was offering on my type of contract and handset a free Xbox 360. They confirmed it after I placed the order but I never received it. I had several phone calls with Orange customer support but they kept lying to me. And overall just the way Orange handles customers is extremely poor, perhaps the worst in UK compared to their competitors. DO NOT use them!

Like the previous reviewer, I was also wary as a result of the earlier reviews (especially of the suspicious "Orange are great!" posts that appeared within a few days of each other - that was me who down-thumbed you, herbatniq). The cashback has just went into my bank, though, so I'm happy. This is only the second thing I've done through Quidco, so I don't have much to compare to, but I thought the tracking was slow (a few days), while the payment was fast (less than a month).

After reading the previous reviews, most of them bad, I was not expecting to get this cashback at all. So I was pleasantly surprised when after only 6 weeks they confirmed the full amount.
No problems with Orange, the dispatched the phone quickly. This is my 2nd contract with them. Never had any problems with them.

My cashback originally tracked with Orange but then was declined and then despite appeal was not paid. The transaction was completed solely online and there is no reason this should have not been paid.

Don't hold your breath for your cash back. You might get it, but chances are you won't. In any event, you'll wait months and months. The signal on Orange or EE as they are now is shocking and getting worse.

Love Orange - have been with every other provider, T-Mobile, Vodafone, 3, O2 and can say that Orange is the best.
Best value, best customer service - and freebies like Orange Wednesdays and Magic Numbers which I use all the time.
Quidco deals are brilliant - had an issue with broadband cashback, but it was resolved.
Slow but we got there in the end

Cashback tracked almost instantly, cashback took around 4 months as expected from the payment speeds. Only took out a 30 day rolling SIM, so it was a decent bit of cashback!
Service from Orange has always been pretty good, their customer service isn't brilliant (they cut my phone off and then told me that the only way I could sort it out was by phoning them, hmmm!) but I've never had any other trouble than that.

Purchased a sim-only contract for iPhone. Ordered the micro-sim, was sent a regular sim and then waited a month for the correct one to be sent. Very poor customer service- explanation was that someone at the factory had incorrectly fullfilled a number of the micro-sim orders.
Claim did not track. When raised, Quidco failed to read my claim properly and closed the claim, saying that I had not provided the information required. I had to point out to them twice that I had. They finally submitted the claim, which has now been declined.
Orange is billed as a "faster paying" business on Quidco. Really?

The offer was described as 110 pounds with all i-phone contracts.(exc iphone 5 ).I was going to buy a sim free i-phone4 second hand but when I saw this offer,I thought it was great.Ordered phone,which,in fairness,was delivered quickly.Orange didn`t have the best deal on free minutes etc but as I was getting cashback,I went ahead.Cashback was confirmed in a few days but only for 40 pounds!! Would have been better to buy sim-free or get a contract with a better bundle deal.Don`t bother.Really disappointed.

Don't take chance... cashback did not track and orange will not consider any claim until months later by which time it is too late to cancel your 24 month contract. Opted to return phone and cancel contract and purchased the same deal with another provided = your loss Orange!

wach out, orange did not pay me for the advertised £50 cashback for a new sim contract and would not give an explanation for this even 3 months later. by this time the appeal process had timed out! I note this is still advrtised on quidco site. good luck to you if you can get the advertised rates!

I have taken out contracts with Vodafone, T mobile and Three through Quidco and never had any problems getting the cashback. Orange declined mine, even though I am still using and paying for the contract! I put in a claim and was declined again, the really annoying thing is that I can't even speak to anyone about it. If companies can freely decline cashback even though the customer has proof, whats the point of Quidco. If I had known I would have obviously taken out the contract with a company who does pay up.
