No way of faulting Pixmania except that they are not UK based, if anything goes wrong with your product you have an extended waiting time for refunds or return of the repaired goods. You also incur the extra postage costs in returning your goods to France. Even the best manufactrers make faulty goods that are not the responsibility of Pixmania, but you pay, "beware" and shop UK

This is March 2013 when I am getting cashback and I cannot even remember what I bought in September 2012. Pixmania was a brilliant site not so long ago and someone is letting it slip.

Had a problem with the device which Pixmania were not interested in. They told me to send it back to manufacturer. Not what you expect from a retailer. Not happy with customer service. Quidco part worked ok.

Bought a 42" 3D tv and 3d player as a gift through quidco,should have got 22.00 cashback. It did not show in my account so contacted quidco to raise a claim and it was denied by pixmania.

I ordered a singing Barbie from Pixmania for my daughter's 6th birthday and received it very quickly only to find - after she had ripped apart the packaging - that it was singing in French. I complained and was offered a replacement or a partial refund. Well, by that time she was actually rather taken with her French Barbie so we opted for the refund. That was a faff as they initially insisted that I email them my bank details to put through the refund. I refused to do this and they eventually put it back on my card. Prior to all this happening the transaction had not tracked so I raised a cashback claim. This went through after the 30 day delay required by Pixmania and has been declined. I was told by Quidco that this was because the commission for referral had been paid to someone else, but I am careful about cookies and I suspect it was because they had given me the partial refund. Of course I can't raise another cashback claim to look into this as a 2nd claim is apparently not allowed. Not happy!

I ordered an iPad mini on the 11th Dec. Didn't arrive within advertised time. Took four weeks. When it arrived it transpired it came from France and therefore had a european plug, not UK. AVOID!!!!

From the perspective of quidco and cashback, it's all good. Often pixmania have good prices and along with a good cashback deal, it can clinch the deal but just be aware that it's not as easy as dealing with a local uk based firm in the event of a problem, as it all comes from france. I have been lucky myself, but when i did have an issue the response was not what i really wanted. They like sales, but don't like problems...

Generally shopping with PIXmania was a good experience. I ordered an electric scooter for my kids and when it arrived the charger had an EU plug and no UK converter. I phoned their customer services and was offered for them to post one or give me a contribution to buy one locally as it was so close to Christmas. Can't argue with a response like that.

Purchased a Blackberry tablet from them, price was fair, but only reason why i bought from them was the cashback as like this it was a bit cheaper than with other e-shops. I raised the claim and quidco replied saying that Pixmania paid to another retailer and not them, i.e. no cashback!! Never again i won't buy from them, i made sure my cookies were clear and I clicked through quidco as required, so their excuse is not only poor.. but a lie!!

Purchased two computer screens for use in the UK. Did not realise that they would come with a 2 pin socket, so useless for the UK. Pixmania did supply to adaptors, which do not fit the 2 pin plug on the items. So again totally useless. I have contacted company for a response, but reading other reviews I doubt they will be bothered. I am now having to go out and buy two holiday adaptors to be able to use these computer screens. I am very disappointed. I also doubt that they will send me a refund to pay for the extra cost of having to purchase these adaptors. If you are considering buying from Pixmania due to the cheaper cost. Don't. Buy from a trusted UK company. Take it from me, I wish I had.

I purchased an Olympus TG1 waterproof camera from them that wasnt waterproof. It was a top priced camera that just didnt perform as advertised. I advised them that I wished to return it for a refund, they arranged its collection, without comment. On receipt they advised me that they would repair the item not refund. They then stated that if a repair was not possible they would refund. They set a deadline that passed without contact, eventually they replied to my email stating a replacement would be sent. In spite of many emails they flatly refuse to refund this faulty item, even though they state on this page http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/our-services/11-univers.html?idservice=1 that they will refund up to a year later! I have never experienced such poor customer service. They change there mind and fail to even stand by what they have promised in writing and by there own service guarantees. Buy from someone else, a company that cares about it's customers, not a company that will drive you to despair. I love the fact they they have contacted this review site and ask that customers contact the directly rather than make there issues public. If they really cared I wouldnt need to write this!

When your product develops a fault, which it will, it will be the most costly thing to return. They only have peak rate telephone numbers and they dont half mess you about. Make sure to pay with credit card so you are protected if you have to buy from here as thats the route i'm taking since they refuse to deal with a faulty tumble dryer.

Tracked quickly in July, 2012. Competitive price, quick delivery. Cashback toke 5 month to come, which is disappointing. But at the end of the day, I still got a good product with a cashback bonus, nothing ot complain about.

Despicable! Will never buy from them again. Showed all the tracking information and they claimed it had not come from Quidco so would not pay. Was a £1000 purchase and the cash should have been significant.

As pervious customer said, they are based in France. It's difficult and costly to do returns. Cashback tracking was average. I would avoid using them as they are not subject to UK laws

Yes they have good prices. But as they are based in France. It's difficult and costly to do returns. Cashback tracking was average. I would avoid using them as they are not subject to UK trading laws

I ordered from Pixmania because, after cashback, they offered the best price for the items I wanted. The actual purchase was fine - items were well packaged and arrived in a reasonable time. However, the cashback didn't track and my subsequent claim was refused for an unclear reason. I'd recommend only if you're not factoring in receiving cashback - I should have shopped elsewhere.

Product pricing was good Refund on previous cancelled order was excessively delayed by weeks Product well packaged and delivery ok but late - Goods did not arrive when Customer Service said they would Customer Service did answer emails, the telephone contact through an IVR was painful with repeated dropped calls and a very long process to get through to the right people - many of whom seemed to have the target of getting me off the phone as soon as possible without resolving my query Quidco cashback was not paid, claiming a number of reasons, none were valid - I suspect not paid as I clicked through to Rep. of Ireland website for the sale to be delivered there Not sure if I would use them again - Absolutely not if I was reliant on cashback to make the price competitive against someone else

bought an Ipad through them using the quidco discount, but didn't realise they weren't a British company until the product arrived with instructions only in Belgium and Dutch. The main problem is that it didn't come with a UK charger. These cost £25 from Apple hence I will end up paying more than the MRP even taking the quidco discount into account. Best to avoid !
