Got sky 6 months ago purely due to £100 cash back. What a mistake. Still nothing. Every day it gets moved back another day. Hadn't read reviews until now so won't hold my breath. Don't think I'll be renewing contract. Think quid co should remove sky from cash back until this is sorted.

I placed an order in May 2012 for a phone and internet package. I received an e-mail confirming £100 cashback would be paid. I received £50 cashback after 6 months, but despite chasing I am still awaiting the remaing £50. Very poor.......if they agree £100 cashback they should pay £100 cashback. Simple!

It's been 11 months still waiting for m and a vouchers, promised £100 but never arrived if you want genuine advice for broadband and phone use O2 very good well mannered people who know how to use the systems their giving to use I'm going back to O2 in 1 month

Similar to other reviews here, 6 months has now passed since activation and the 'expected payment' date just keeps moving further away. Product is very good, cashback service is terrible.

After a 6 month wait (not usually an issue provided a retailer fulfills the claim) my cashback request was incorrectly declined. I gave up the opportunity to have the first 6 months of my plan at a half-price rate because the cashback option rated better overall, so I'm not best pleased. Avoid.

It has been 6 months now and I am still waiting for my cashback!! Quidco have said they are doing everything that they can do but the expected payment date just keeps getting put back. Very happy with my sky broadband which I got from the offer - but very disappointed with the speed of cashback - especially seeing as I have been a SKY customer for years now.

Cannot believe that 5 months has passed and still haven't received the cash back. Rejected at first but accepted after claim raised. Still awaiting confirmation. Apart from that the service was good and a little hitch was resolved easily through their customer service.

Sky is awesome. The box, the service, and the add ons that are free, sky go on smartphone or tablet, being able to record on your box using the sky plus app. My only gripe was the two blokes that did the installation, useless and not careful I drilling etc.

We moved in to our first house together in October, and spent some considerable time weighing up the various options of offer (as you would) The offer at the time to take up a contract with Sky in my name, was for £120 cash back for a 2 year package. We actually took the offer up in September in advance of our moving date, so that it would all be ready for us when we moved in. This cashback was of course, a major incentive in taking the package out. Despite one or two small teething problems initially (for instance Sky announcing to us they'd moved our installation dates on several occasions, including BEFORE we were moving house - and they sent some messages directly to email and others to an online log-in) the service has generally been good; uninterrupted and can't really complain. I guess it does what it says on the tin, no more and no less. Internet has been speedy and for the most part reliable. As for the cash back however, we are pretty cheesed off. I have raised the query with Quidco on several occasions, and as far back as January we were told that they were 'on the case' for us. It is still sitting there with a 'claim raised' status. It is now June, so it is coming up to 9 months since we took out this package. I can't begin to understand why it is so difficult for a major company like Sky to come up with £120. If we don't get it soon I can safely say we'll be looking elsewhere at the end of our contract as this would essentially amount to a great big swizz - false advertising, a con, whatever you want to call it. This money is small fry to Sky but a lot to a young couple. HURRY UP AND PAY US!!

Don't fall prey to the cashback offers from SKY. They are total cheats. I bought SKY TV & Broadband package online (through Quidco) in the month of December. I was refused any cashback and since then I have raised my cashback claim on a number of occasions only to be refused time and again. SKY is total cheat and you will only waste your time and money here.

today is 4 months since I switched to sky, no sign of the cashback, every day that passes it moves the expected payment date back a day so that its always 2 weeks away, It seems Sky can offer so much cashback because they dont pay it ! very disapointing so far but you never know it may arrive at some point, just after I tell them Im switching to Virgin !!

I switched phone and broadband providers to Sky from O2, who I have been with for the last 3 years and who have been excellent, purely because of the £100 cashback offer on Quidco. I too looked at the reviews and wondered if it was worth the risk, but agreed to switch anyway. BIG REGRET. The service is not as good as O2's and the cashback has since been refused as 'the commission has been paid elsewhere'. I'm not sure where as I did the whole process through Quidco. If I could cancel my account with Sky I would as the experience so far has been disappointing. IF YOU CAN GET A BETTER DEAL THAN SKY WITHOUT CONSIDERING THE CASHBACK, GO ELSEWHERE!!

Ordered Sky broadband on 15th January, with £80 cashback. I am still waiting for the cashback to be confirmed and paid. Cashback did not track and I have to raise a claim - never had problems with my cashback tracking. Claim was raised by Quidco on 30March. Last chased quidco up on the 7th May and was told that payment will confirm within 14 days. 19 days later, payment is still not confirmed and no news so far. Am rather upset as the only reason why I switched from p2 to sky was for the cashback.

Sky were offering such good cashback and voucher deals that it made it financially worthwhile to cancel a contract early with BT (at great cost) and switch. I was told I would get £100 M&S vouchers and £90 cashback with the package I was going for. Having noted lots of the reviews saying that they were bad with giving the cashback, I had an online conversation with one of their operators. I gave him all of my details and he confirmed that yes, I would be eligible for cashback. I buy the package and when I do so, they tell me that Sky cannot find my address. I live in a new build so fair enough, but a Sky team had been to the properties months before they were even available to live in to install a communal Sky dish and individual Sky sockets in every property. So obviously they know my property exists because they've been there. Lo and behold, by the time they identify my property, the M&S voucher offer has been reduced from £100 to £25. After I confirm my order, the M&S voucher offer goes straight back up to £100. I then have to wait for the cashback. I accept it may take some months but since I have written confirmation from Sky that I'll get the cashback, I can deal with that. About six months down the line, Quidco tell me that Sky have declined to give me cashback based on the fact that 'you are in a property of four flats or more and this requires specialist installation'. This did not require specialist installation. Sky had installed everything already, in every flat, before I even moved in. The Sky man took approximately ten to fifteen minutes in my property and then left. I also had clear evidence of the conversation I had with their online customer services team that confirmed I was eligible for cashback. After waiting six weeks for a response to my complaint, I have just had an email from Quidco. 'We're sorry but Sky are still declining your request and we have to close this case now'. No reason given, no evidence that they had looked at my case at all. So, in short, these guys are conning customers into entering long deals with them using very attractive cashback and voucher offers with no intention of paying them. DO NOT BASE YOUR DECISION IN THE HIGHLY COMPETITIVE MARKET PLACE FOR BROADBAND, TV AND PHONE ON SKY CASHBACK OFFERS. I shall now be writing to Sky's Chief Executive.

yes me too! I've been refused the second cashback amount. The first was tracked and paid promptly. The second amount (£40 after paying for movies and sport for 6 months) has been declined as being paid to another referrer - even though I ordered it in the same transaction at the same time!!! It seems that someone is promising a lot of cashback just to get people to sign up - shame on you. Quidco say there's nothing they can do. I am not happy with sky or quidco!

Ordered a new sky package in November despite reading the poor reviews and shockingly (!) there have been massive issues including my purchased not being tracked and that sky have no reference to my purchase despite them willing taking my money for 6 months. Quidco support at present is being very poor in trying to get my cashback (estimated at £140 when I made my purchase). Please don't expect getting your cashback quickly-or if at all! If I get my cashback I'll write a slightly more positive review

Poor service from Sky in getting me set up in my new home, was without phone and broadband for far too long and to top it all off my order did not track, raised a claim which took 6 months only for it to be declined saying that Sky had no record of my purchase. Why re they debiting my account almost £100 a month then if I did not make a purchase! I am now owed £165 after being mugged off by Quidco and SKy, at least if I had taken up one of Sky's (not as good) offers direct I would have already saved money, instead I have saved none. I have contact Sky but they blame Quidco, Quidco blame Sky

Well, I upgraded our sky package via quidco - expecting £60 cashback. Ordered back in November. All tracked ok, showed up almost instantly in fact, and quidco "updated" the cashback a few weeks later (not sure what this means). Anyway, we're now 7 months since order, and 6 months since last update, and all I see is an "estimated payment" date, which moves further away every time I check my account. Quidco are "chasing" this, but nobody seems to be getting anywhere. Annoying as hell as have had cashback from other companies a lot quicker, so don't rely on the money getting to you quickly, or perhaps even at all!!! Support I have to sit and wait now. Fingers crossed. EDIT: Absolutely disgusted. Sky have now declined the cashback. Tried to submit a claim, but it won't allow me to put any dates in from 2012 (earliest is 2013), so absolutely pointless. AVOID!! Don't waste your time!!

Switched to Sky Broadband and phone in October. The switchover was a breeze and the service is fine, at half what I was paying BT. But my transaction didn't track and I had to raise a claim. The claim was approved on 6 April, but a month later, there's still no movement on any possible payment date.

If you are going to get any Sky package Bonused after 6 months...BEWARE... I got a full Sky package in July 2012, with £110 to be paid with a further £60 bonused after six months for adding Sports & Movies.. After 6 1/2 months passed I contacted Quidco (not an easy task as no drop down box for missing bonus payment) to ask where my extra £60 was, their reply after a month was to tell me yes it was payable but I'd already been paid it and shut my query down without a right to reply. I hadn't been paid by the way. So I have to then re-instate another new query to advise I hadn't been paid it and they need to tell me when/who they paid. They advised they gave me incorrect info and would contact Sky....and lo-behold today Quidco/Sky advise they cannot look into this any further as they don't pay anything more than 6 months after the original order. Claim shut down again, again without the right of reply. So in other words, if you don't get your promised six month bonus payment from Sky/Quidco, the latest rejection suggests you have no right of appeal - even if they previously told you (incorrectly as it happens) that they have already paid you. Still waiting for a proper (human) reply..... :-(

I upgraded my sky package to HD via Quidco.Tracking was quick so was delivery of the box although they charged £15 for it.Product is ok but needs frequent resetting which our Sky plus box rarely did. Been waiting for the cashback now for 5 months which is far too long.Have reported to Quidco but no further forward.If there is a problem with getting the cashback Quidco should show that in their stats. Update to my review.6 more weeks have passed and still no cashback.I have heard from Quidco support who say they are chasing Sky but nothing has happened. Like many of you I feel the cashback time is grossly misleading.My advice is don't bother.

Sky never tracked correctly from the day I placed the order, subsequently 'upgraded' my package twice and this didn't track correctly either. There was then so many changes and queries I lost track myself at what had been paid or not and I'm sure I never got the amounts published. On top of that Sky's customer service is atrocious.

Warning for all people tempted by the Sky Cashback offer through Quidco. Sky will seemingly do everything possible to avoid paying. The alarm bells started to ring within minutes of placing my order when it did not track. Despite following ALL the terms and conditions highlighted on the Quidco website to qualify for the cashback (such as deleting cookies etc, completing the whole purchase online in one go. AND despite having confirmation emails which I received within MINUTES of completing my Sky purchase via the quidco website (which confirmed the Sky order ID and my Sky account ID, Sky are claiming to have no traceability of my order being place through Quidco with me seemingly having no right of appeal. Very disatisfied!

I ordered sky broadband, talk and TV in Nov, tracked straight away and thought I'd be one of the lucky few who would get paid as estimated. 5 months on I've been in touch with quidco support but I'm still waiting for confirmation and frustrated that Quidco and Sky can't sort this out so people can have a genuine estimate for their payment to be confirmed. The product itself is good, quick installation and no hassle- just a pity it was let down by the experience of the cash back.

Great service and information through the post,was contacted up and running without any assistance on the live date.Would recommend as I have just received cashbak after 3months. Sky's service has been OK since the service got up and running, but it took a long time for them to send me the equipment to connect to their broadband service. The cashback experience has been an utter joke. It's 12 months since the last Quidco update, yet there's no sign of my cashback yet. I placed the Sky order in January 2012. Going via Quidco has been absolutely pointless.

The conversion from my old ISP to Sky was surprisingly painless and efficient. I really cannot fault Sky at all. The deal through Quidco was excellent. My purchase tracked without any issues and payment was made within about two months.

I am having bigger problems getting the M&S vouchers that alsoo came as part of the package from sky, should take 45 days but still waiting - expect to have to chase these.

Made purchase on 15th December 2012 Got £140 on the 21st March 2013! 3 months I was expecting at least 6 Months for news, then no payment reading on some of the reviews. So for my New Sky Package I got £100 MandS Vouchers (in my hand now) and 140 of cashback (in my bank now) thats £240 and I am paying 22 pound a month for my Sky Package.....so I am actually getting sky for a measly £2 per month ! Now that is a bargin

Switched to Sky for BB and phone only It has 2 months now 2 Direct Debits have been taken I knw my Sky id. Cashback status is still showing as Tracked . I was expecting Confirmed status by now . when I look earlier Sky is average 3 months for getting cashback paid. This status does not seem to be correct.

Switched to Sky via Quidco about 9 months ago. I got their broadband, plus talk service. The broadband speed was comparable to BT, but 'unlimited' for the same price. Include the £95 cashback and £25 M&S voucher, it seemed worthwhile switching. I am still waiting for the cashback, with no sign of it being confirmed, and since switching over, Sky have increased their line rental. All in all it wasn't really worth the bother. Edit: After posting this review, Quidcare got in touch and managed to sort the payment out pretty quickly. Changed score to reflect this.

ive waited just over the time for cashback with sky, quidco got it confirmed very quickly, i got this product for my brother with multiple subscriptions, it was £140 about for the total i got £50 tracked the whole time, it said before it confirmed when i checked that sky does this, it confirmed today at £50.. he got espn, sports, movies, sky+ and mutv, cant raise a claim as we dont have the id number and stuff.. seriously dissapointed right now but happy il get something!

After signing up, and paying the connection fee's, they set everything up quite quickly. However, keep in mind that they will take a month's payment in advance on top of the current payment. So far, I have paid Sky £300.37 from 01/12/12 to 01/03/13 that's SkyTV, Broadband and Talk - Great services but ridiculously expensive. The bill for February was high due to calls, and you pay for all calls including free numbers - don't be fooled. I paid £7 just to call my bank. Without the call charges, the bill would be £67 with Entertainment Extra with Movies. I also cannot change the package, something to do with contract. Virgin, with 60MB fibreoptic, movies and talk including 08 and other numbers for £5 a month with 500 minutes was around £56 a month. Finally, I'm still waiting on the cashback.

I rec'd £85 cash back and £25 MnS voucher for broadband and phone. The voucher was emailed to me very quickly and the cash back came through within 3 months. The broadband set up came through quickly and smoothly, and its relatively cheap, I think it averages at £19 a month including the phone line. However I have had problems with the broadband speed, I was getting 16mb (I am close to the phone exchange), but then it dropped to 4mb. When I call sky they are very helpfull and manage to increase it, but then it drops again. My previous provider Orange managed a steady 12-14mb and i never had to call them.

I have been waiting for cash back from sky of £80 since I completed a transaction through Quidco 5 months ago. It was declined straight away and this was a joke as I had done everything as they had requested through the site. I raised a claim but Im still waiting. Rubbish :(

having ordered my sky broadband back in july 2012 my cashback didnt track so i raised a claim, that was approved by sky, so was waiting for my cashback of £120 to be credited to me, only to find this week my cash back has been declined,,,, looking thru this site, i see there are alot of other people having the same problems.. if your thinking of getting sky via quidco, please be careful, and make sure your order tracks, also quidco should chase sky up re all these cash backs that have been declined

Ordered as a Father's Day gift in June last year. Sky itself was very efficient with set up and install and we've had no problems with the service. The cashback however was disastrous. At first it didn't track and I misread their convoluted rules so lodged my tracking complaint one day late. Quidco did everything they could to help (although it's intensely frustrating to have to negotiate your way through the system to be able to mail them - fine once you've got a line of communication open though.) and 8 months later i've got the cashback. From what i've seen here and on MSE the fault lies with Sky, but i'm relieved that the 2 Rosies and Jamie kept up the pressure on my behalf and very pleased with their service.

I purchased Sky via Quidco but the order failed to track. To raise a cashback claim I had to provide my user id and order number. However I was never emailed an order number from Sky and the web page I made the order on was long gone. Phoned Sky and they told me there was no way they could find out the order number. Emailed Quidco to explain the situation and they repeatedly asked me for the order number. I repeatedly told them I didn't have it. Quidco closed my case because I gave up on telling them multiple times I didn't have it. Looks like from the reviews this is a setup to get more business for Sky but find ways of not paying cashback. If only Virgin Media provided services to my area, I was with them before I moved and they were great.

I should have cashback of around £90 for an offer in 2011. Not a single penny was received. I'd recommended this offer to a family member and a friend. They received nothing, either, until they chased it up. I could not chase my claim up as too much time had passed.

Right, it is a very good deal to get the M&S Vouchers and £80 Quidco cash back! Snap it up! Only issue is, you have to (I had to) wait 6 months before I got my cash back into my Quidco account then had to wait a further 11 days before it was in my account minus £5 which Quidco took. Other than that you have to wait half a year for your £80 it is the best deal I found on line or via the phone to SKY, they could not match nor beat this offer!!!!

I got Skyback in June 2012, however I am still waiting for Cashback for movies and sports 8 months later and all Quidco support can say is they have an issue with Sky. If you have an issue with Sky Quidco, why dont you resolve this with them? They must get a fair amount of business through you. The cashback made the movies and sports package affordable. Without this, its not been worth having. Im getting fed up of asking for support on this matter and getting fobbed off.

25th of September I signed up, now February and not a sniff of any cashback, truly the worst for getting cash back. Now an email to Watchdog. Quidco are complicit in this, why offer a retailer if cashback takes months and months to get, if it comes at all. Edit. 08/02/2013 took it up with quidco on their facebook page, quick and helpful, now being paid in the next payment run.

Sku package, as always is very good - internet speed good - good quality programming, however, the price is now getting ridiculous - it just keeps going up and up. If it wasnt for the offer of £100 MandS vouchers and £100 cashback via Quidco then I would not have purchased so readily, and would have just continued to use a relatives sky account online. The massive delay in receivibg the cashback, OVER 6 MONTHS to me seemed ridiculous, but considering that to me it is essentially free money, then who am I to argue?

To be honest, i was a little reluctant to go with Sky, as i'd heard a few thnigs about poor broadband performance etc, but with the amount of cash back offered, i couldn't resist. Can't fault Sky broadband. I'd been with O2 for a number of years, and prior to my transfer to Sky, was paying for an upgrade package with them. Sky broadband much faster. What else can i say.Speed and cashback. Can't lose.

As of Nov 2012 ; - No problem with the Sky package at all. Broadband speed and telephone service seems good - I am in the centre of a city however so it should be good. The Cashback has been a shambles taking , so far, 8 months to get. Quidco has been good in communicating with me and keeping me informed but the fact is i still don't have the cashback as advertised. As of late Nov 2012;- I did finally get cashback but it took about 10 months. It was only after i used their Facebook page on which i complained that it got resolved quickly. In future with ANY company that is slow to respond to complaints i will go the Twitter & Facebook route. It is immediate and widely read.

Payment took 2 1/2 months although I didn't mind waiting because I thought £75 was quite generous. The TV and Telephone service is okay but the broadband speed ridiculous by today's standards. At times I am getting 0.5 mb/s. Sky offered to release me from the contract but I'll make do until there is a Quidco offer on the Fibre Optic - didn't want to return the £75 or £100 M&S voucher!

First off the cashback payment I still haven't received after 8 months but has just been approved took a ridiculous amount of time. It's the reason I went with them and I wish I didn't, Their support is terrible, I asked for help with the Broadband around 8 times on their forum and received no answer for 6 weeks then all you get is copy and paste replies that blame your house/landline etc. Anything except admitting it's their bad infrastructure so they don't have to do anything. I'm on a brand new land line and the exchange is outside my house and the broadband gives me a worse ping than I got in 2001 on dial up. I honestly will never use Sky again.

Sky offer great cash back, we got over £100 but their customer service is awful. Always waiting on people to call back. Had the same issue with internet for around 18 months but still not fixed (lose connection if using home phone). Took a day off work for installation day (7 weeks after signing up!) but no one came! Came the following week but pulled the plaster off the wall when fitting phone box to wall and never set the the sky box up to use the internet.

I'll start off by saying that my lack of cashback is entirely my fault as I didn't read the exclusion criteria, however, I still think it's a bit rubbish that the cashback is not paid if you're in a block of flats. It's a pretty common situation and they could have pointed out a bit better.

Mt claim ran for around 4 months but they refused to pay with no explanation. I raised a claim but Quidco were unable to get my money either - this should not be allowed as it is falsly luring someone into thinking they'll get something they'll never see!

Please do not order sky tv through Quidco. I asked for advice from Quidco Online Chat to make sure the order tracked. Despite following this advice Sky have rejected the claim, there is no option to appeal. Not a happy customer!

Please dont take sky through quidco.I got my sky HD all channel package in feb 2012.Still i havent got any cash back.Apparently sky have refused to pay.Even though I have a connection, sky is denying that i havent taken any subscription and quidco can't do anything about that..

I placed my order for a sky upgrade to include broadband in April 2012. This did not track so had to raise a claim. It is now January 2013 and have still not received the cashback. If I had known this I would not have bought this product I would have gone with a different provider. I have been a sky customer for many years and feel let down.

The router range is very low, router stands in the centre location of our bungalow, and any laptop (tried on few) taken to furthest point of the house, get out of the router range. Also there's question of security/privacy as with new router, you can access 192.168.0.1 without password (password block you only from accessing subpages but not the main screen), which mean you don't need password to see router status, type of encryption, used channel, attached devices, etc. If you have new laptop and old printer, the network will run on performance of the slower device. The broadband speed is so far only 7 Mbps, not 8.5Mbps-18Mbps (15Mpbs average), as advertised. So far, very dissapointed.

Sky ere very quick with the changeover from BT an it was seamless. Cashback payment took 4 months but I guess they were waiting to make sure there was no cancellation and the payments were being made. No complaints, all in all a good experience.

Installation and product was ok but was over charged for product. Took over 4 attempts of contact for the situation to be resolved and it had to go to a high level complaint. The chat function is the worst, the foreign service agents dont have a clue what they are doing or even understand basic questions. they stick to a script and never do what they say or leave relevant notes on the account so you have to explain yourself over and over again.

Order tracked just fine, which is good as other orders with others haven't gone so smoothly. Payment was tracked within hours and then confirmed in just under 2 months. I'd read some reviews about problems tracking or receiving cashback from Sky so I was prepared to raise a claim. It turns out I didn't need to. I upgraded our existing Sky broadband to Fibre Optic with the £80 cashback offer. It's just been paid to me less than 3 months after I order it (2 months after installation) - very nice especially so early into the new year!

I had been with Virgin Media for 18 months and yet another price increase made me look what other telephone and broadband services there were. I found by moving to Sky I would get virtually the same services for £10 a month less. Also on top I would get the first six months half price saving even more. I then found out that I would get £100 cashback. So I signed up on-line and then there was a problem as Virgin would not let me take my telephone number with me. So It had to be all re done over the phone. I was concerned that as it was done on the phone the second time and not on-line I would lose my cashback. However a couple of months after starting the service I received £50 and I have just received my second £50 cashback payment which came payable after £50. I have had no problems other than the slight problem signing up. The service seems just as fast as Virgin which was suppose to be a faster service. The telephone service also seems okay. I don;t have the TV and never get pressured into getting it or contacted about getting it. Overall with the cashback and first six months half price after 12 months of service I am on course to be about £300 better off.

As the title states, I am pretty happy with the Broadband I have received from Sky... I have never had speed issues, and getting about 12 MB speed where with my previous provider on the same line was only giving me a maximum speed of about 6-7 MB (Even though the old provider claimed they also offered up to 20MB Broadband). I have only had one issue, when my broadband was not working at all and this was due to engineers doing some work on the lines in my road and being down for about 2 hours, which was beyond Sky's control. However when I called them to query the issue (as I was unaware of the engineering work), I didn't find the support team very friendly and seemed dis-interested in dealing with the problem. This is probably my only criticism of the service I have received. But if the issue had been more major, I could have been very frustrated! The pricing of the actual broadband is excellent as I got 9 months half price out of a 12 month contract... The actual line rental was about £2 less than BT a month when I first joined and there was a price rise in this to bring in line with BT earlier this year. I hardly make calls, but the basic line rental fee only gives you free landline calls at weekends, where other supplierrs give you free evening calls too, for the same priced line rental. It would be nice if Sky could offer a broadband only package, where no line rental is paid OR a line rental fee where you do not get free calls. As we all know you are paying for them really in the monthly fee! I think the speed of the cashback is a little lame, hence the one star score I gave this. I took out the package in March and is only now at the end of December (nearly 9 months later), that the cashback has been paid. But £50 cashback is great and shouldn't really be complaining!

Getting my cashback from sky digital has been such an awful experience, 7 months later and a lot of emails and quidco reps pursuing for me it has finally been confirmed, come on sky get your act together, cannot thank quidco enough for continuing to chase this for me all this time If you buy sky through quidco ensure you keep every email they send you until you have your cashback paid!

Ordered in July 2012 and installed pretty quickly, with broadband & phone. service is okay. HD is great. Sky+ is great. We only took the offer initially as the cashback and vouchers covered the extra cost over and above the cost of our last phone/broadband package with Orange. Cashback didn't track at first so opened an appeal. Quidco recognised the error but still nothing as yet tracked cashback wise. Also Marks & Spencer vouchers have still not materialised despite many calls to sky. Sadly as it seems with most big firms these days once you are signed up on contract customer service is terrible. Since July there have been two, yes TWO price hikes... :(

What can I say except an exceptional service by Sky; prompt, hassle-free and no questions asked. Considering that this was a large sum of money, I was a little worried it would be slow and difficult to obtain. Particualarly, when some large companies cause a huge amount of disatisfaction and disappointment over very small amounts of money. Well done Sky!!!!

Got £115 from getting sky Broadband. Be aware it took just under 4 months for the status to change from tracking to confirmed, so do not worry. It is a bit long winded and a lot of effort, but for this kind of money for free, it is worth it!

I got caught out as I live in a flat as for some stupid reason they don't pay out as its excluded. However for broadband only there is no exclusion yet they tried to fob me off. 6 months down the road and still waiting despite Quidco chasing. Once Sky contract is finished I will get rid of the tv package and go back to FreeSat and use the money saved on a nice holiday instead!

TLDR: Very slow cashback (7-8 months). I went for regular Sky Broadband with the evening and weekend calls package. Speeds are around 18meg down, 1meg up. Although it was stuck on 8meg down for about a month whilst they claimed nothing was wrong and finally it turned out to be a faulty chipset at the exchange. Lots of complaining and phone calls later and it's running decently now, never drops out. The modem/router is very basic, can't issue WOL commands, doesn't support the DDNS service I use, poor WiFi performance etc. My main reason for sticking with them is the speeds are very stable, don't drop much during peak times and they don't do any bandwidth throttling or shaping (at least as far as I can determine). Still haven't received any cashback to date, but after 7-8 months it is now confirmed and due to arrive this week. Was meant to be £50 upfront and £50 after 6 months IIRC, so that's out of the window.

Be careful when you buy from sky. I purchased broadband no problem cashback tracked and paid after a few months. Then ordered Sky TV cashback tracked but no amount so I waited the 180 days and raised a claim. There saying i'm only entitled to £30 cashback and £25 vouchers although the deal at the time was £80 cashback and £100 in vouchers. NOT HAPPY WILL BE CANCELLING AFTER MY YEARS UP.

We moved to sky in an attempt to save some money. Originally our line rental was with BT and our internet provided by Zen. Other than the price the prior services were excellent with d/l speeds of ~17mbs, but monthly cost was ~£50. We had a few teething issues transfering to sky during their application process on their website due to a technical issue with their server, but this was quickly and efficiently resolved by their customer support team. Sky CS kept us fully updated on the transfer status and expected change over dates etc. Our only concern was they were prediction a d/l speed of 4-12 mbs, with a minimum of 3.8mb, on what was deemed to be a 14mbs max setup. On connection day everything went fine, and sky phoned the next day to confirm there were no issues. Line training was conducted for the first 10 days, with line speeds starting @ 4mb and finishing at 16mbs. Very impressed overall. 16mbs lines speeds with no drop outs at £19 per month inc line rental and anytime free calls. However from experience, the speed a property can achieve is generally due to the line quality and distance from the exchange - luckily ours is good and as such works seamlessly on sky

I signed up to sky broadband on the 9th of August for signing up I got £25 M&s vouchers and £120 through quidco, as claimed by all other reviews it seems everyone has had some sort of problem when it came to getting their cashback but today I received mine and have had no problems whatsoever.

Cashback was paid fairly quickly from Sky. Problem was I only received £50 of the £75 cashback. The remaining £25 (which was part of Quidco's 'Increased Rate' offer - nothing to do with Sky, really) is only just been finalised after 7 months of being told we're waiting for Sky to pay it. I think someone dropped the ball this time.

I changed to Sky from Orange, the speed of broadband is good (much better than Orange). The cash back is supposed to be in two tranches of 50 GBP each. It is still taking time after already waiting for 8 months to get the cash back paid. Keeping fingers crossed!

We moved to Sky about a year ago, everything went as planned with no loss of service at all. The broadband speed trebled, and has stayed very fast and reliable. So all good. A friend of mine has also just switched from TalkTalk, and had exactly the same experience, with again a much faster broadband speed.

I had purchased sky through quidco in July and have yet to receive my cashback. However, Quidco had been brilliant, I cannot fault their custoemr service and they are genuinely fighting sky for my cashback.

Claim raised in Feb this year after not being tracked. Now coming to November and still waiting. Service itself from Sky is excellent though and no problems with delivery or switch over from TalkTalk. Come on Quidco sort it out and you wonder why I'm not using you!

As above, never tracks and the cashback amount changes so often you can't keep up with it! Had to make a claim last time to get my cashback and after several errors I finally received it 6 months later, albeit the wrong amount but I had no energy left to pursue it any longer. Just placed another order with them and again it hasn't tracked so had to open a claim. Please sort the Sky tracking out Quidco as the cashback you get from Sky is usually a large amount and something I don't want to risk losing out on.

We moved from Talk Talk to Sky, they have been brilliant. Service is great only hang up is that my cash back claim never showed and I have had to put a claim in, still waiting some 3 months later for it to be sorted.. Not so good from Sky as everything else has been done so fast..

Went via Quidco to benefit from the offer of £95 cashback. I checked the offers a number of times over a month period to ensure I got the best deal. Don't do it unless you clear all your history and cookies after each visit. It would appear that each time I went into the site it left a cookie footprint. Sky have now declined the cashback stating they can't track the transaction and I can't appeal it. £95 out of pocket. Changed from BT to Sky... and regret it. Only been with them a few months now and have already had to ring 3 times because of the lack of broadband speed. They informed me it was running at less than a 1mb!!! I think dial up was quicker.. They promised it had been sorted out and that a BT engineer would ring to arrange a visit. A week on I am still waiting for the call and the broadband speed is still slow. I cn't watch any film streamlining that I have paid for and am actually now considering cancelling the 12mth contract beause they have clearly breached their side of the agreement!!!

I only went for it because of the awesome cashback offer. After waiting 3 months I put in a claim which was denied and then got re-opened as the 'denial was a mistake'. So I waited another 3 months and this time it got denied for real. Unbelievable. So I now have a 12 month contract with sky tv and broadband but no cashback, even though I have all the documents as proof. If you're only getting this because it seems like great cashback - maybe you should rethink.

Switched from Talk Talk to Sky and was delighted with the customer service. I got text messages at every stage to keep me informed about progress. The move was pretty seamless and went completely to plan. The broadband performance has been much better too with no traffic shaping at peak times. I haven't had to call their customer call centre, but anything has to be better than some bloke in India calling himself Dave or Tom and reading off a script that is of no use to man nor beast!

horrible service, india call center, weeks to get connected and then couldn't use broadband due to a broken router, complaints fail to get a response, hours spent trying to get problems sorted, cashback not paid, and now overbilling too....no positives to mention...

I decided to swap from TalkTalk to Sky to take advantage of the 6 months free unlimited broadband and £75 cashback thru Quidco. My phone went dead at 11:am on the Friday and only came back on at 10am the following THURSDAY - the broadband the day after, so a week without a braodband connection. I lost count of the number of times I rang Sky and it took until Tuesday before I managed to get hold of a CS rep who pulled out all the stops to get things back on. I would advise anyone who has a similar problem to stick with it and harass Sky until you are satisfied - I eventually got a free HD box and multi room connection worth £260(I still pay the monthly fee) out of them as compensation.

I used to be with Plusnet and since changing to Sky I've had nothing but problems. Their prices are inaccurate, their broadband service is unreliable, and their customer service is beyond awful! Think twice before switching to Sky Broadband!
