Do not expect cashback on anything from Sky - they simply do not pay out. I'm an experienced member here and have never had a quidco referral fail, but Sky claim that the referral money has gone elsewhere and there is nothing I can do to dispute this. Do not trust this retailer and do not factor in Quidco amounts to any purchase decisions you make

I raised a cashback claim and was told the sale had been credited to another source, so no cashback could be claimed. What complete and utter bull. Like other reviews have said, Sky simply do not pay out as promised. I am not going to let this drop though since Quidco should not be allowing this to happen. Quidco have one chance to sort this out otherwise they're binned.

Really disappointed at the lack of urgency sky paid out on cash back! Had to raise a claim as initially didn't track, then had to wait 7 months to get the money from my cash back. In saying that it was £95 I wouldn't have got if I hadn't used quidco, so am grateful for that.

Refused initial cashback saying that they could not track, it was payed to another referrer (never found out who). I complained and complained, they even tried to tell me that the cashback offer didn't actually exist! Quidco haven't been very helpful either, saying they are powerless and that I should have deleted all my cookies blah, blah, blah. Surely Quidco has a responsibility to its customers? Anyway, avoid.

I attempted to upgrade to Fibre Broadband with an offer of £80 cashback and also their website offered 3 months half price. After numerous problems with the order process and hours on the phone (cut off repeatedly and told the system was down) the cashback has been rejected. Multiple engineer visits were arranged even though the broadband was successfully installed on the first time. This then meant my activation date was pushed back and I am now tied into the contract for an additional 2 months! I spoke to an advisor who assured me that I would receive 6 months free broadband and line rental. I have now had my first bill which is for the full amount. Speaking to an advisor in the billing department, they have no record of any offer ever and cannot apply any discount to my account. To summarise, I originally thought I would be paying £35 a month for 12 months but £25 for the first 3 months and also get £80 cashback = £310. I ended up with £35 a month for 14 months and no cashback = £490.

The claim never tracks, then months later sky will claim it was through "another marketing channel" yet, I know it was done through quidco. You just need to look at the other reviews to see this never works.

Not for the first time I've gone via quidco for dealings with sky. They never seem to pay, and take months and months to get anywhere. I've just had another cash back declined for the reason "service not activated" which is strange as it was for a fibre upgrade, and I'm using it now! The only not activated part of it is that's its been faulty with a known sky fault since day one and only runs at half speed. Not very amused with sky whatsoever and this is the icing on the cake!

First the cash back didn't track so I raised a claim. Took over six months to get a response and guess what... CASHBACK DECLINED!!!! Sky claimed I purchased it through "another marketing channel". Utter rubbish, wish I had stayed with Virgin Media now. Paying more each month and cheated out of £80 cashback. Very frustrating experience.

I've been waiting eleven months now (21st April 2012) since upgrading and the whole process has been a waste of time. I'm expecting Sky to eventually decline the cashback, just to put the insulting icing on top of my cake of tedium. It's all well and good offering these cashback amounts to people but it almost seems like a waste of time to try and claim them. I think i'll be going with Virgin in future.

Had cashback declined for no reason whatsoever, they claimed that i have already upgraded with them before which i hadn't. I am currently waiting to hear back from the second cashback claim that i have made as i was so angry that they may have given my cashback to someone else, been waiting since beginning of November 2012. Don't think Sky will pay out but they are quick to take more money out of my bank account each month after i upgraded with them and would be quick to expect me to pay the full amount if i was to cancel with them. Avoid using quidco to upgrade with sky, not worth getting your hopes up for cashback.

I upgraded for £120 cash back in August 2012, told yesterday it's been declined as I didn't go through with the deal. I can quite clearly show bills and £25 M&S voucher to prove the upgrade but nobody has seemed interested since day 1. Won't use again.

When I upgraded to Sky Broadband back in July 2012 it did not track. It then took until November for Sky track my claim that I raised with Quidco. I had to chase again in January 2013 about payment and they have finally confirmed which is far too long.

It took many messages to quidco and over 6 months to get the cashback from Sky, I'm not sure that I would put with it in future. The cashback was also not tracked automatically. Forewarned to anybody else getting cashback from sky.

Already a sky TV customer and decided to take up broadband and telephone in September only due to offer of £95 cashback and £25 M&S vouchers from Quidco. This did not track so needed to raise a claim only to be told in Jan that merchant has declined as commission is not paid on upgrades!!! This totally opposite of Quidco advertisements.

Upgraded to Sky HD, and ordered phone and top broadband package. Sky service is excellent and M&S vouchers arrived promptly but the purchases did not track. Raised two claims (as two products/offers) but they were rejected. Am now around £150 out of pocket and Quidco's attitude is "oh well that's too bad". Disgusted.

Sky seem to be quite resistive to paying cashback. Firstly, cashback doesn't seem to track automatically so you have to submit a claim. Secondly, I've just had 2 claims rejected despite supplying them with all the purchase information. Having been on Quidco for 2 years now, I would say they are the worst company to deal with for cashback.

I upgraded to Sky HD as an existing customer. The offer was £25 cashback and £25 Sainsbury's voucher. I got the equipment no problem, and had to apply through Sky for the voucher which came no probs. However, I had to raise a claim for the cashback which is still sitting as claim raised after several months. Quidco have advised that Sky approved the claim and are waiting for it to be confirmed, but that was also months ago. No idea if it will ever come through....

I had many problems actually ordering the complete Sky upgrade - Phone, Broadband & HD. Several times (10+) I was unable to complete through Quidco and was offered an upgrade by phone option - no good as no Quidco! Eventually I tried rebooting my Mac and clearing absolutely everything from my browser's history and finally got through! I always clear the cookies, but this site needed more drastic clearing. The Sky products for me have been excellent. The broadband service is twice as fast as my previous 'premium' service, no problems with the phone line, and the HD TV package is just brilliant. The 'Cloud' connections are also brilliant, being able to access the internet away from home without paying for an expensive mobile data connection is a real bonus. The broadband switchover was completely seamless and easy. Sky Go on my computer is another great feature. Discounts on the HD package and phone line for the first 6 months added to the £95 cashback made this a very good buy. The cashback paid for the £99 upgrade to a 1tb HD box, which is a great bargain for that excellent bit of kit! Now the Cashback has taken quite a long time. I had to raise a claim with Quidco and it has taken nearly 6 months to get confirmation from Sky - hopefully I will get the payment shortly! I got good communication from Quidco who informed me that the claim was progressing and they hadn't forgotten me. Well done as usual Quidco! I am not overly worried that the cashback process has taken so long, I have been with Quidco for around 6 years now and almost every single purchase I have made has tracked eventually and payment has been received. When I have had issues these have been dealt with excellently by Quidco. I should be going over the £1000 cashback next month and as I always make sure that I am getting the best deal before Cashback this is free money, so waiting a few months for it is really not a problem.

The speed of the tracking was very good, and the cashback amount was also good, however, the speed of the cash back to be confirmed was very very slow, and had to raise a claim form. It took months! Probably would not use again!

Had a similar to problem to the other review on here, cashback didn't track and submitted a claim that was declined. Supplied Quidco with the required information only for Sky to say the cashback had been paid out to someone else. They aren't required to tell Quidco who and Quidco closed the claim. Tried replying back to the email I was sent from Quidco but no response. Stuck with a 12 month contract, no cashback and no obvious reason why. Have been using Quidco for a few years and this is the first problem like this.

I decided to upgrade to the fibre optic service based on the £120 cashback offer and like other members the upgrade never tracked even though I did all of the things Quidco recommend. I then raised a claim which was declined even though the activity was there to pick from the list (my Quidco account knew about the activity and the transaction was there to choose). Relating to the service itself, I had the broadband down for 7 days which was blamed on the router. A new router was sent out but during this time the original router mysteriously started to work again?? I'm not new to Quidco and have had many other deals track with no problems. Don't be drawn in by the money, if it doesn't track you are already signed up to a 12 month contract.

I placed an order on 25 Sep 2012 with Sky for a digital upgrade to Sky Sports and Sky Movies. The order did not track on Quidco within the required minimum 3 days. I then came to Quidco to raise a cashback claim and Quidco requests an order number which unfortunately I did not keep a record of at the time of the upgrade. I then contacted Sky to ask for this order number and Sky says there is no order number for a digital upgrade of existing customers. There is no way to progress your cashback claim on Quidco without an order number for Sky i.e.: both Sky and Quidco have made it almost impossible to make your claim. After going round and round in circles with Sky I finally placed a fake order number in the cashback claim today. It remains to be seen whether Quidco submits the cashback claim to Sky and then whether Sky processes the cashback claim. Considering Sky doesn't have an order number for my digital upgrade, I'll be extremely unhappy if they turn around and reject the claim because of the incorrect order number. I can't find anywhere on Quidco to complain about the process for claiming back from Sky.

It is now almost a year since upgrading to the HD package and for doing so was promised £75 cashback. The transaction didn't track so had to add it myself. almost 6 months on and continual chasing i was given cashback but only £10. i can prove that i am entitled to £75 and quidco agree. they have been "chasing" for me and i have been chasing quidco but always get the same response "were still chasing Sky". A year on and still no money! waste of time, Sky are a bunch of lairs it appears who just like increasing your bill every couple of months by a pound or 2. I want the money that i am entitled to but feel a fool for ever thinking that Sky would actually give a customer anything! At least i'm almost out of the 12 months they lock you in for! Don't be drawn in by their upgrade incentives!

Upgraded to Sky+ HD received £25 M&S vouchers but no cashback. I had to raise a claim with Quidco, that was in July but have heard nothing.

As with previous reviews, I went through a fairly effortless ordering process through Quidco and Sky. The delivery was super speedy and the set up relatively pain free, apart from the fact that I had to contact sky after the initial set up to pair the old multiroom viewing card with the sky+ box that we had replaced the old sky box with. BUT, as with the other reviews my order didnt track and I have had to raise a cashback claim, I am still waiting, this may take a while.......

I have had the same problems as the previous reviewer. I am a long standing customer of sky and have Upgraded to sky+HD full package. We got the new box and upgrade easy enough and the vouchers to spend at m&s but the cashback has been denied despite me going through quidco. Quidco are continuing to chase my cashback but poor show from sky in my humble opinion

Just wanted to point out to potential buyers is to be careful when you are online. as my HD upgrade did not track. I had to raise a claim. Apart from the cashback front I had a painless transaction with Sky. Did the upgrade, the HD box arrived next day, setup successfully. I had to call the tech support to change the smart card.
