Both of my last two click & collect purchases have tracked successfully only to be declined a week or so later. I submitted a claim for the first one and it was eventually paid and I've just raised a claim for the second so hopefully that will be paid too but there does seem to be a fundamental problem here that needs sorting out.

Bought a laptop through reserve and collect.
Arrived 2hrs after ordering to be told "Oh it's not ready..." (Their service says only 1hrs processing time required). Waited, good naturedly, for another 20mins. Eventually prompting staff, and offering to take identical, from the shelf to the checkout myself resulted in the customer services advisor going and collecting it herself.
I should mention that I had refused the offer of having laptop pre-setup, or removed from box in anyway!
Happy with the laptop, but cashback had swung me towards Currys/PC World(identical price elsewhere). Cashback was initially tracked & projected payment date given, before put back. Now, 3 months after purchase, it comes back as declined.
Leaves a bitter taste...

I purchased an Apple I Pad from PC World/Currys in April using reserve and collect. It tracked straight away and I thought no more of it.
Today the cashback was declined by Currys with no reason other than the standard list.
This is the second I Pad i've bought from them in exactly the same way, first time no problems, this time declined.
Its also the first decline i've had in 3 years using quidco.
I certainly won't be buying from Currys again!

I ordered a laptop for my brother from Currys a few months back. I ordered it from them as they seemed to have the spec closest to what he wanted and the price (after cashback) was the best on the net at the time. I also ordered Microsoft Office at the same time.
After collecting the package from my local store I dropped the laptop off at my brothers house, it turns out they gave us the wrong version of office a single license instead of the 3 licenses we ordered and paid for. Back to Currys a few days later to return and swap for the version we ordered and the kindly assistant informed us that the version of Office we ordered is no longer available. Instead they offered us Office 365 instead which would get us 3 licenses but expired after a year! "No thanks" I said. Anyway we ended up keeping the wrong version as it was still better than the newer alternative. Not very satisfied with their error though, as it means we'll have to buy it again to get the other 2 licenses they didn't give us. Just to rub it in, Currys also declined my cashback claim, no reason given! I only noticed this after the 7 day period had lapsed so I am unable to raise a query. Not a huge amount of money, but that's not the point.
Disappointing experience, won't use again unless there's a bargain to be had.

Great service, I ordered a tumble drier online and picked it up an hour later, they even helped me load it in the car. Cash back within 2 months is always a bonus.

Currys have declined my cashback even though QuidCo confirmed that my purchase tracked and I still have my receipt and order number which prove that I made the purchase.
When I emailed Currys they said the amount of cashback was decided by QuidCo and therefore out of their hands, but at this stage my complaint isnt about the amount. My complaint is that Currys have declined the cashback so the amount is nil!
Hidden away in the small print of the cashback offer was a term saying the headline grabbing figure was limited to the first 300 purchases, so I realised that I might not receive the headline-grabbing figure and might instead receive a lower cashback amount. However, I didnt expect Currys to totally decline my tracked and provable sale.
At the time of writing, Currys have a trust rating on the Trust Pilot website of 3.5 out of 10 and their five most recent reviews include ratings of 2/5, 1/5, 1/5, 1/5 and 1/5 with review titles such as Never use currys, The worst customer expirience (sic) in my life and Dont buy anything from currys. The Trust Pilot pie chart for Currys reveals that almost half of the 454 reviews left on the site give Currys only one star out of five.
This doesnt surprise at all me given my own experience and given that Currys advertise cashback offers and then refuse to honour their advertised offers.
I was particularly surprised and disappointed that Currys have tried to shift the blame for the declined cashback onto QuidCo, given that in my dealings with QuidCo I have found QuidCo to be a very reputable company and a company who act with integrity.
I would advise others to avoid Currys ... or at least keep all your receipts/order number/screen prints of tracking confirmation emails, etc, so that when Currys decline your cashback you will be able to provide QuidCo with all the information they need in order to hopefully try to get Currys to eventually honour their agreement.
UPDATE: After my third email, and after raising a ticket with QuidCo, my complaint got escalated to a manager from Currys who was far more helpful, and to give Currys credit my cashback has now been paid. After being fobbed off in the initial email replies from Currys, their most recent reply assures me that Currys KnowHow customer service staff have now been made aware of their relationship with QuidCo. However, I would still recommend against using Currys for 'reserve and collect' purchases as their system clearly has problems and you shouldn't have to raise a query to get your cashback. Overall it was still a disappointing experience, but at least they sorted it out in the end, so thanks to QuidCo for raising my issue with Currys.
I only really buy from Currys/Dixons for sale prices.

The prices are often not great compared to online prices, but they have the advantage you can book it online then pick it up later that day. They also offer price match, plus 10% the difference, although the criteria is quite specific enough to not make it that good.
Some people are complaining about low cashback, mine has always tracked, and a low amount is better than none.

I ordered a tablet online through Quidco as a Christmas present, when I went to the store they had run out of that particular tablet and had lost my reservation so I had to settle for a different tablet instead. Because of this my cashback claim was denied when in fact I should have been receiving an apology from Curry's for messing up my order in the first place. I certainly won't be rushing back to them again!

I purchased a Google Nexus 32GB tablet early March during the £15 cashback offer / 1.5% cashback on all sales using the supposedly reliable and easy "reserve and collect" function online.
My cashback has been declined by Curry's with no explanation. Rubbish service.
One less customer for this store on the High Street. I'll stick to reliable companies who stay true to their word when offering cashback and other similar offers.

I have used curry's frequently for the reserve and collect service and tracking does tend to be hit and miss though raising a claim is easy and is usually resolved fairly quickly. i can't really comment on curry's delivery speed and packaging as i haven't used that service but would say that everything else is to my expectations

Currys, electrical equivalent to Tesco; pile high sell "cheap". However the shopping experience and customer service is dreadful. Reserve and collect. What a lot of tosh. Goods not ready, staff too idle to collect it and then they lose the cashback details. Dreadful from start to finish. And that is it with Currys from me. Shall shop elsewhere in future.

Deal was spend over £200 in December and a further £100 in January and get 20% off combined orders. I only purchased laptops from Curry's because of this offer as I do find their products over priced. I spent £650 on a laptop in December and a further £550 in January. I was made to wait nearly two months for my laptop ordered in January, even though it was saying it was still available to order from their website. Eventually Curry's told me that they no longer had my laptop available and asked me to choose another one but then Curry's cancelled my order so this deal could not go through losing my quidco cashback. They then had the cheek to try and sell me the exact laptop for £40 more. I will not be shopping here again.

I purchased a computer last August from Currys. I followed all the instructions in order to ensure my claim wouldn't be declined. The assistant was reluctant to use my online reference but I insisted saying that otherwise my cashback claim would be invalidated. Being new to Quidco I didn't realise that there was a time limit to raising a claim. After 45 days you can't raise a claim so now I've lost the 2% cashback on a £500 laptop! Not happy at all, I was about to purchase a new printer with them but will go with amazon instead

takes a long time to track, then explains it will initially track at a lower rate. you need to keep watching and then when it pays out at a lower level you need to make a claim. If you don't claim in time yor eligibility expires. Very lazy, I am not happy when people do not do what they originally promise, be it through incompetence or deceipt. Not good

??? The Quidco Team??? the following isn't a question,its a customer experience and facts of what was a transaction. I was clarifying the difference between online and shop bought. It goes to show what can been achieved with good buying skills, attaining the product one wants with discounting skills and what's on offer at the time.Plus the security of having a maintenance contract all with Curry's, showing the quality of product ,VFM and security from a quality company.
Bit confused with Curry's policy purchasing online and in the store, when they should both be the same.
Online = via Quidco, stackable codes, cash back credit card, no delivery charge = £224.00 in total (Not including cash back credit card discount)
In store = cash back credit card, charge for same delivery time = £269.99 + £16.00(del) = £285.99 (not including cash back credit card discount)
Comes with Hotpoints 1yr labour + 5yr parts after year labour call-out cost at today's price £140. So took out Curry's labour and parts at £4.50 per month

Bought a camera via Quidco from Curry's online with 10% cashback. After waiting 3 month, complying with Curry's re: order number and receipt number, finally told my cashback claim was declined. Lost out on over £30 of cashback. Do not use this retailer, service instore was poor and i would not have bought this item from Curry's if i had know the cashback would not arrive!!!!

Our bigger Currys is 3 times bigger than the other currys that we had to drive 20 minutes away in order to do the click and collect.

Cashback was paid within two months, which is fine I suppose.
The customer service of this company leaves a lot to be desired though. I ordered a fridge which I was subsequently told was out of stock and would not be available for at least 4 weeks. I cancelled this order and placed another but had to chase several times to have the initial order refunded. Really poor.

Bought a BB playbook through reserve and collect, for £129. Cashback offer was 10% ex VAT. However, the cashback conformed at only £1.67 as the rate now is only 1.5%.
Currys salesman were the usual, just interested in selling insurance! The till person did not even ask me my reserve and collect reference.

I bought a canon camera via click and collect from Currys. The price was the cheapest online and in store. The cashback was an added bonus on top. They tried to sell me their whatever happens cover which I felt was quite expensive.

The laptop was delivered to a local store within the delivery time given. It was well packed. I haven't had the cash back yet, but it tracked within the time given on the Currys page on Quidco.

The service in-shop when I went to collect my reserved TV was excellent. The initial Cashback tracked speedily but the confirmation was nearly 3 months. Not good for a retailer which calls itself 'faster paying'! The amount confirmed should have been 10% of purchase price (excluding VAT) but was tracked and confirmed at a fraction of this. Really not impressed that I now have to lodge a missing Cashback claim!

Bought an oven form currys - they delivered the wrong one. Spent over 5 hours on the phone over a period of about a month trying to get it sorted out (premium rate number, naturally). Never called back when promised, emails ignored, eventually they refused to supply the correct oven - and all they would offer was a refund. No apology, no compensation to reflect the costs incurred, time spent or the fact I was without an oven over Xmas and the New Year.
Last laugh to me though. So far spent c£2k with other suppliers and convinced 2 friends to buy their all their new appliances from another supplier.
Useless and contemptuous of customers.

Yes you do have to raise a claim for reserve and collect purchases but I have found this to be both reliable and cashback quick to pay. I was sceptical that the reserve and collect cashback would work, but it does! Just remember to keep a note of your reservation number and reciept number in order to raise a claim.

Not very happy as they declined my cashback at first and then got back 9p compared to the £5.90 I was meant to get back from purchasing an ipad. Will think twice before using currys through Quidco. I cannot seem to rectify it as it was reviewed already previously

When buying anything from Currys I always use Quidco to do click and collect. I get my cashback but collect from the shop as usual unless it is a large item which I then have delivered. Sometimes it may only be £2 for a small item but over the years the little bits add up

several times they have done this since being a member, unlike other companies where it may be a mistake or a tracking issue, Curry's are consistent in refusing and disputing cashback. I will no longer use this company

I bought a Dyson Battery Vacuum from Currys. This was faulty and would not accept its charge. Currys exchanged it and then refused to pay my cashback! In fairness it has eventually been paid after 4 months.
Quidco were fine - more than can be said for Currys

Have used Currys on several occasions and their Order & Collect Service is appalling.
They take your telephone no but on 3 occasions recently,for different items at different stores, I have been told that I should not have been able to order as item not in Stock.
Staff attitude is typical - when challenged as to why they do not ring you to tell you in advance of your journey that they do not have the item they could not care less- they do not ever seem to accept that an apology is appropriate.

I purchased a laptop from them which arrived with a cracked screen. I called them and they told me to take it to the store and a refund would be processed there. I took it to the store and they decided that the could not process it in-store as I purchased the item online. So a) Why was I told to send the product in-store in the first place and b) Is it not the same company? Surely, any transactions will be either credited or debited to and from them. One of the staff members helped me arrange a collection in-store for the next day since I was already there. A week later, I had still not recieved my refund or any correspondence. I called the help-desk and found out that the laptop has not be recieved. I asked them to call the store and check and the staff said they had no recollection of me coming to the store. I had to go to the store and rectify this myself. I was almost late for work. It was frustrating especially when I had limited funds and needed the laptop for university. It has totally put me off shoppign with Currys/PC world. I got my current laptop on Ebay. At least with Ebay, if you do not get what you require, you are protected by paypal.
Cashback also declined!

I reserved my cleaner (sebo x4 pet) in currys. After waiting 20 mins to be seen by someone I finally got my cleaner and paid for it at the till. This was back in october and we're in december now where, like many, I have had my cashback declined! I don't have a transaction or reference code so I can't fight it. If I knew this was going to happen then I would have shopped elsewhere at a more reliable store!

I had to raise a claim as my order didn't track and has just recently been paid after preordering the nexus 7 when it came out. When the claim was finally passed I was paid quite promptly so I can't complain about that.

I have been with Quidco Since Feb 2006 Never have any of my purchases tracked. Rasing a claim is pointless as they eithre ignore it or ask for infortion you cant provide becasue they are unwilling to give it to you. i.e collection reference number sent to you by text 3 months ago. Best advise shop else where

Best price ever for an Apple MacBook Pro, old model but brand new sealed box. Cashback paid approx 6 weeks later, so very happy with that. Bundled extras did not get sent, but did receive some compensation from customer services for this. Over all my Currys buying experience was very good, if not quite perfect.

I ordered the product on line and then picked it up in store. The cashback was declined for no good reason that I could see. I then had to raise a cashback claim using the order number and a reference number from the receipt issued in store. All this has taken 5 months. Very unimpressed.
Faster than Tesco and Philips who are taking 4 months to pay!

Cash back should have been 10% on my camera but they have only paid me 1.5%. It was advertised that a higher amount would be paid even though the tracking amount would show less. Tried to raise a claim but I do not have my order number, so I've lost out. Will not use Currys again.

Don't expect cashback to be paid without it first being declined and you chasing your claim. I had two (out of two) claims declined for no valid reason. On the first occasion the amount was £50 and I successfully challenged this. On the second occasion the amount declined was only 24p and cannot be bothered chasing this up.
