Destinations is self-explanatory. Deals include last-minute offers, short break bargains, and so on. Holiday types, meanwhile, lets you narrow down your search based on what kind of holiday you’re after, whether it’s a beach break, activity-packed vacation or a spa-themed trip.

How easy is it to book a holiday through First Choice?

Really easy. A simple search will return a list of relevant results, which you can narrow down using filters like rating, facilities and price. If you’re happy, you’ll be directed to a summary page, after which you can book in your holiday. The form filling is fairly standard and easy to follow – there’s even a handy airplane-themed progress bar at the bottom so you can see how much headway you’ve made.

How do I pay for my First Choice holiday?

You’ll be pleased to know that you only need to pay a deposit for each holidaymaker to secure your deal. The remainder of the balance will need to be paid 12 weeks before you leave. However, if you prefer to pay in advance, you are very welcome to do so.

In some instances, you will be able to put down a partial deposit. If you opt to do this, you will be able to pay off the rest of the deposit eight weeks later. It’s important to be aware that if you’re browsing for a last-minute deal or looking to go on holiday with less than 12 weeks to go before departure, a full payment will be required.

Can I make changes or cancel my booking?

Yes. When you book online through First Choice, you’ll be able to make changes via your customer account or the ‘manage my booking’ service. Through these portals you can upgrade your room, change hotels, modify any extras you might have added and, among other things, add or remove passengers. Be aware that changes might incur a cost – see your booking details for more.

With regards to making a cancellation, you can do this through your online customer account or the ‘manage my booking’ service. There is a charge for this, with rates depending on a number of factors, including how close you cancel to the travel date and what airline you were scheduled to fly with. Also, please be aware that changing or cancelling your booking may invalidate your cashback.
