Long weekend breaks during the springtime have become increasingly popular with British travellers over the last couple of decades. Many have taken the opportunity to spend a few days ambling the streets, delving into the culture, and exploring the gastronomy of countless Europeans cities, both within the UK and in continental Europe. Flybe have great deals on flights within Britain and to mainland Europe. To earn cashback on your flights, remember to follow the link from this page to the flybe site.
A weekend away doesn’t necessarily involve packing your passport. The UK is home to a diverse selection of vibrant cities, all with their own unique character, filled with history, culture and great cuisine.
The Scottish capital of Edinburgh is fast becoming one of Europe’s top tourist destinations due to its hosting of the much-loved Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Although the Fringe is in August, visiting Edinburgh can still be a real treat during the Spring. Wander the streets, take in the gothic architecture and eat some good food. Visit Edinburgh castle and take in some history during the day. At night, take to the pavement and find seemingly secret bars, hidden within the alcoves of Edinburgh’s backstreets.
Or, for something a little further afield, how about a short trip to mainland Europe. Flybe offer return flights to all the fan favourites, including Italy. Italy is the place for everyone. Fashionistas, head to Milan to explore the endless shops for items that will be sure to impress your friends back home. Culture vultures, take a trip to Florence, where it’s impossible to move for galleries and exhibitions. Whether you decide to stay in the UK or head to the continent, follow the links to the flybe website through Quidco and you can earn cashback on your purchases.

If you're on a tight budget, choose a Just Fly ticket, which includes a non-changeable, non-refundable economy seat and standard hand luggage allowance. The next step up is the Get More ticket, which gives you an upgraded bundle that includes hold luggage, changeable tickets and on-the-day flexibility, meaning you can switch to an earlier or later flight on the same day at no extra cost. Ever looked up a flight on one day only to find it’s more expensive the next? If so, you'll love the Flybe Price Lockdown feature, which allows you to hold a fare for up to 24 hours. It costs £2.50 per person to do so, but could save you a lot of money in the long run. And Price Lockdown isn't the only money-saving tool Flybe offers. It’s also worth joining the Avios Travel Rewards Programme and collecting Avios points every time you fly with Flybe. You can also check out the Flybe Special Offers page for the latest cheap flights, discounts, deals and new destinations – but make sure you check our terms and conditions before buying, as some special offers might not be eligible for cashback.

You can check live flight arrival and departure times on the website, so you’ll be aware if there’s any flight delays that might affect your journey. You can also download the Flybe app to manage your booking straight from your device, so whether you want to add luggage, choose a seat, check in or retrieve your boarding passes, you can do it all in one handy place.
Anxious traveller? With Flybe, checking in is one thing you won't have to worry about. It's the perfect option if you're travelling with hand luggage only, allowing you to head straight to security when you arrive at the airport. No printer? No problem. You can also download your boarding pass to your mobile (just make sure you keep it charged ahead of your journey). As if all of that wasn’t enough, Flybe also has you sorted when it comes to car hire, hotels, airport parking and travel insurance. Check the Hotels & Cars tab on the Flybe website to see what is available through Flybe's partners. Its tie-up with Booking.com means you get access to a huge range of properties across the UK and Europe, from mainstream chain hotels to quirky independents. And with regular car hire deals from big-name providers, you might be surprised how little it costs to get mobile during your trip. You could even go the whole hog and plan a full-on road trip! Check our terms and conditions before you buy, as non-flight purchases may not be eligible for cashback.

Tired of worrying about liquids, see-through bags and what you can or can’t take on the plane? Take the pressure off your hand luggage by treating yourself to some extra hold baggage allowance. If you’ve got a Just Fly ticket, you can simply add a hold bag onto your booking for a small fee online or through the Flybe app. Hold baggage is included in the price of Get More or All In tickets – and if that still isn't enough, you can add even more allowance in the same way.

Last-minute change of plans? With Flybe Flex you no longer have to worry about paying a fortune to cancel or rebook a flight. Simply select a changeable ticket when you make your booking to ensure that you can change the time, date or even route of your flight at any time up to the day of travel. Flybe Flex costs only a small amount per person, and if your travel plans are likely to change it's well worth paying the extra – particularly if you know you'll be getting cashback on the cost of your flight.
When you know you’re getting some cashback on your Flybe booking, you've got the perfect excuse to splash out on some added extras – and few extras take the stress out of travel like a pre-booked airport parking spot. Secure your space in advance to get yourself the best deal and save yourself time on the day you travel. At some locations pre-booked spaces are within a few minutes' walk of the terminal buildings. For an even more convenient experience, upgrade to a Meet and Greet package, allowing you to drop your car close to the terminal. Staff will park it for you, and have it waiting for you when you arrive home. It doesn't get any easier!
First time booking flights with Flybe? If there’s anything you’re still not sure about, check out the answers to some of the most common questions below.
Flybe is a public company, listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Hand luggage allowance on Flybe flights includes one cabin bag (up to 55 x 35 x 20cm) and one additional personal bag (a handbag or laptop bag) that can fit under the seat in front of you. The combined weight of both cabin bags must not be more than 10kg.
Hold luggage allowance depends on the type of ticket you have when you fly with Flybe. If you have a Just Fly ticket, a fee will apply for hold luggage. If you have a Get More or All In deal, hold luggage is included in the price of your ticket.
Again, the ability to change flights depends on your ticket type. Just Fly tickets are fixed so you can’t change flight once you’ve booked. Get More tickets have a degree of flexibility, so you can change flights, but you’ll have to pay the difference if the new flight is more expensive. All In tickets are fully flexible, so you can change your flight at any time without incurring any fees.
There are a number of ways you can check into your Flybe flight, so you can choose whatever’s most convenient for you. Automatic check-in and web check-in (open 36 hours before your flight) both give you printable or mobile boarding passes. Alternatively, you can use the self-service or airport check-in desks when you arrive at the airport on the day of travel.
