A gift card is a prepaid card with stored value (e.g. £50) that is redeemable for goods or services at specific retailers. Once you buy or receive one, the funds are stored electronically. Every time you spend, the purchase amount is deducted until the balance hits zero.

A cashback gift card is a gift card bought through Quidco that still works exactly like a normal gift card but also pays you cashback after you’ve purchased it.

A standard gift card is bought directly from a retailer and you only receive the card’s full value to spend, with no extra reward. With Quidco, you pay the same price, get the same gift card value, and then receive a percentage of your spend back as cashback into your Quidco account.

After purchase, we'll email you a link to view your gift card. Simply click this link and follow the on-screen instructions and claim your gift card. When claimed, your gift card details will be displayed for you to use with your chosen retailer. This page will also show the date your gift card needs to be claimed by.

If you have purchased multiple gift cards, then you will receive a separate email for each card.

You will usually receive your email within a few minutes of making the purchase, but it can take a little longer on occasion. Please allow up to 12 hours before contacting support if your email does not arrive, and please check your spam/junk folder first.

Once you’ve bought a gift card, you should see the transaction shown as tracked on your Quidco activity page within one hour and the cashback will be available to withdraw within seven days.

Each retailer has their own instructions and terms for redeeming and using their gift cards. The Terms of Use for each gift card can be found on the gift card product page before you buy. This will include any rules or exclusions that may apply, as well as information on how long redeemed cards are valid for.

The retailer decides the time it takes for a gift card to expire once it has been claimed. Please refer to the ‘Terms of Use’ on your chosen Gift Card’s information page. We recommend that you check the expiry information prior to purchasing and make a note of your gift card expiry date to ensure you use it within the allocated time frame. Once a card has expired, Quidco is unable to reissue it.

Once a gift card has been purchased, you cannot cancel it or get a refund - all purchases are final. This includes any gift cards that have yet to be activated.

If you're experiencing a problem using your gift card, the best way to get help is to contact the retailer directly; whether you're trying to use the gift card in-store or making an online purchase, the retailer is best placed to support you - either speak to staff in person or use the retailer's online support on their website.

Yes - when purchasing your gift card, you can choose to send the card to someone else. You'll need the email address of the person you're sending it to, which you'll be asked to provide on the basket page. You can pick a specific date and time to send the card and schedule delivery up to three months in advance.

Yes. You can make up to five gift card purchases per day. Each purchase can include multiple gift cards, up to a maximum total value of £250 per purchase. After five purchases, you’ll need to wait 24 hours before buying again.
