About Rohan

In 1972 Rohan was founded by Paul and Sarah Howcroft in Skipton, North Yorkshire. We have been making world-class technical clothing for fifty years, opening our first shop in Long Preston, North Yorkshire in 1983. Since then, our clothing has seen our customers through countless adventures, from the top of Everest to the rolling hills of the South Downs.

At Rohan, we pride ourselves on our five principles; protective, lightweight, packable, easy-care and versatile. Whether you need your shirt to protect you from insects during the day and then dry overnight after washing it in your hotel room sink; or you need your trousers to offer multiple secure pockets to hold all the essentials you need for your adventures, the focus on constant innovation in these five areas ensures our clothing is ready for any challenge you throw at it.

The Great British weather can be unpredictable, but our Barricade Standard technology will keep you protected whether you’re walking through passing showers or an ongoing downpour. 3 key areas determine the Barricade Standard: water resistance, breathability and garment construction. This means that all our waterproof jackets are fully waterproof, windproof and breathable, so all you have to do is talk to us about your activity and we can help you choose from our 4 different garment construction types.

We know that it’s not just rain you’ll be contending with on your adventures; when you’re sat outside on a warm, summer evening you also need to keep yourself shielded from biting bugs. Our Insect Shield® technology converts clothing into long-lasting, effective and convenient insect protection. And if you’re out exploring in warmer temperatures, Dynamic Moisture Control ensures you stay comfortable by wicking moisture away from your skin and spreading it over a large surface area, enabling you to benefit from evaporative cooling.

Cashback do's and don'ts

DO's

Cashback is not paid on VAT, delivery charges and any other additional fees, occasionally some may pay cashback on the full basket amount. When a minimum spend threshold is required to be eligible for cashback, retailers do not count VAT and fees in the total spend amount
Cashback can be earned simply by clicking through to the merchant and shopping as normal
Cashback is available on genuine, tracked purchases completed immediately and wholly online
Purchases at this merchant should appear as pending within 24 hours. They will remain at this status until the merchant confirms the purchase is eligible for cashback. Once this happens your purchase will reach the ‘confirmed’ status on your account
Most transactions from merchants track successfully, occasionally a transaction may not get reported. If you believe this to be the case, please submit a "Missing Cashback" claim within 45 days of the transaction.
Cashback may initially track at a lower or higher rate and update to the correct rate on confirmation
