Our spacious self-service restaurant has become an attraction in its own right and features in numerous guides. We use the freshest ingredients and try where possible and practical to source local ingredients. All of our beef, venison, and fish are of the finest Scottish quality available.
Since starting up our first coffee shop in the late 1960s we have followed the same formula of healthy foods, served in good portions. We do not serve fried foods, and even the croutons that we give you to put in your soup are baked in the oven! Everything is prepared on the premises, from sandwiches, salads, soups through to our savoury pastries and our famous home baking!
Our reputation over the years has always been for producing fantastic, filling soups and for most of the season, you will have a variety of 5 to choose from at any time. Our best seller through the years has proved to be our Cullen Skink - the finest Mallaig peat smoked Haddock, with onions, tatties, fish stock and cream. To say that people cannot get enough of it is an understatement. On one busy day, we managed to sell 75 litres of this fabulous soup.
